2019 this was the song of my summer from a high school to college transition, a new journey with old and new friends. Everything was scary and new, and especially so the concept of love was twice as terrifying. Regardless, with drake in my ears, I had an optimistic yet melancholic hope for the future. 4 years later I fell in and out of love and have made decisions that have certainly affected my future outcome but I still feel safe whenever I hear this song. May my soul prevail and grow a passionfruit of human existence.
