I drive a 325i by my self and the N52 N/A engine was the best decision for me, its reliable and not slow (as seen in the video) And the Sound of the n/a 6cyl engine is just gorgeous
Sooo... does that mean after sailing past 155 mph it reaches its top speed of 280 mph relatively easy. Becoming thee fastest production car in the world? That's one heck of a tune... speedo is in kph.
@@chrisdaviesmtb4667 perhaps I miss read your comment. Anyhoo it's a well documented fact that bmw is a bit optimistic with their speedometer readings. At 30(mph) it could read +2. At 50 +4. At 80 +6 etc. And that's before any other variables (I.e. aftermarket wheels ).so that while 280kph is indicated he's actually going a fair bit slower. The n54 is definitely capable of easily hitting the limiter tho.. I know one of the options I have active in protool is digital speedometer and true speed or some such where it uses the cars GPS for the indicated speed. All of a sudden all the other cars are not doing 80-90 on every single stint of freeway any more lol.
The 335i (n54) is the better engine in terms of tunability. The m3 is best sound wise and has 2 more cylinders and can go up to 800hp while n54 can go up to 1000
I have a tuned 320i (stage 1) with 185 hp. It’s enough for me. Our gas prices, insurance payments, and taxes are high, and I like to keep my license too. To me it’s about getting from point a to b and driving a convertible in the hot summer days.
