Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen (Kazakh: Дінмұхаммед Қанатұлы Құдайберген, Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaıbergen; born 24 May 1994), known professionally as Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range.[1][2][3][4][5] He has performed songs in twelve different languages.[6]
Although offered a position at the Astana Opera, he decided to carve out his career in contemporary music, mixing classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop music.[7]
He gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and other post-Soviet countries in 2015 upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus.[8] He rose to fame in China with his participation as a "wildcard competitor" in Hunan TV's Singer 2017 (Chinese: 歌手2017)[9] finishing second overall.

I love how you pay attention to aspects very few (or non) other reactors do: the artistry in the film, the colors contrast, the acting, the change in light. I have learnt to see Dimash's videos on a very different, fresh perspective. Please keep doing this to all Dimash's songs!

Director thinks that Dimash played his role perfectly, I knew that we needed to create an epic story for the video clip. I had this image of true love and swans represent this kind of love people say that swans are the most loyal birds to their partners if they choose a partner then they will be with each other until the end of their lives so i wanted to create this kind of story for Dimash, very epic love story very dreamlike legend which tells about true love and I wanted to add something like human angels in the video clip human angels from a completely different world so that it makes the storyline something of a fantasy. I didn't want to shoot a typical love story between a guy and a girl

This clip was released on April 18, 2019. and since then there's been a lot of controversy around it. Some viewers thought that if a song is about swans, then you should show the swans and their history. But the director of this video Badoev showed the legend of the red angels. //// Angels lived in their own country. They had their own God. They lived peacefully on the lake, loved each other and did not know the grief. But the evil demons broke out of the ground and took the red angels prisoner. So that the angels could not fly away, they broke one wing. Many of them could not move. Dimasha and his girlfriend were also broken one wing. At this time Dimash mentally recalled a happy life in the past. And suddenly Dimash decided to try to break free. He began to sing with his angelic voice. From the marvelous sounds of his voice the red angels came to life, began to splash in the lake. Dimash and her friend ran into the mountains, climbed to the top and decided to try to fly away. Dear Cedric! As always, you have a very good reaction. I liked your observation the most that every freeze frame of this clip resembles one of the Renaissance paintings. I agree with you. The song lasts only 6 minutes, but each frame in the video is very informational. You have to watch this clip many, many times to see all the paintings, scenes and small details. About the voice of Dimash I am generally silent. When you hear him sing, your head spins. The clip very beautifully combines the voice of Dimash and the pictures of each frame. There is nothing superfluous or accidental. I believe that this clip is an outstanding work of fiction. Thanks for the reaction.

Finally, someone who truly appreciates this video! There have been so many people who did not get the symbolism of good and evil, the angels and the demons. So many people just thought they were swans and thought the video was dumb. And many, many people did not see the demons at all, they never noticed them! Those demons were so scary to me I could only watch this a few times! The whole video was extremely beautiful and other worldly. There is a back story to the words of this song, it was written by a famous poet. As always I learned so much from your review. Thank You

So happy you are reacting to Dimash's MVs. Some reactors are kinda snobbish about MVs - they seem to think if it's not live, it's not "real." I anxiously await your reaction to Akkuym / My Swan [Official MV]. This is the one that made me fall in love with Dimash! The set is fascinating - I spot something new every time I watch it. The music itself is a masterpiece. Dimash is gorgeous and so expressive; his final gesture says to me: "Bond, James Bond."

Hi Cedric, Awesome, informative reaction to this superb MV, this was shot on location in Spain and the MV after this was for the song "Know" which again was shot on location in Iceland. These are his type of MV's but of course during lockdown he did a few green screen/CGI ones out of necessity and some from his own studio at home and of course we had some from his live digital concert in January. He did manage a few location shoots during LD, "Qiran Elim" was done around Astana, Kazakhstan and "Golden" was done inbetween lockdowns as was "Be with me" shot at a Hotel, again in Astana. He always presents the outline of what he wants to the movie makers and obviously he has a good eye for the artistry !! 👍👍😊😊👌👌

Director: Alan Badoev (*1981, Ukrainian film director, music video director, screenwriter, TV producer, TV presenter and music producer of Ossetian origin. Today Badoev is most notable for his prize-winning work as music video director. He has directed more than 500 music videos. He is known for often producing cruel images.
Lara Fabian made a video with Badoev and turned it down when it was finished, because of the gruesome scenes. 🌼🇩🇪
👉 The plot of the video 'Love of Tired Swans' is based on an old German legend about a single-winged angel who is only perfect and can fly again when he has found the right partner (Dimash and the girl). Lifelong loyalty to the partner of the swans also plays a role (both fall from the rock but together they can save themselves, they have 2 wings together). The director Badojev made a real film with his fictional and mystical angelic world (allusion to our broken world?). Es war einmal ein kleiner Engel im Himmel, der die Menschen mit solcher Nähe und Zärtlichkeit begleitete, dass er den unwiderstehlichen Wunsch empfand, nicht nur mit seinem Flügeln über die Erde zu schweben und schützend die Menschen zu achten, sondern er wollte selbst auf ihren Straßen gehen, einer von ihnen werden.
Eines Tages sah er auf der Erde eine eben erblühte Mohnblume. Da schien dem kleinen Engel, als habe er im Himmel noch nie ein solches schönes Rot empfunden und seine Sehnsucht, zur Erde zu gehören, wuchs.
So trat er vor Gottes Angesicht und bat: "Lass mich auf die Erde, lass mich ein Mensch unter Menschen werden."
Da trat ein erhabener, weiser Engel dazu und sagte: „Weißt du auch, dass es auf der Erde nicht nur Sonne und Blumen gibt? Es gibt Stürme und Unwetter und allerlei Ungemütliches." Ja", erwiderte der kleine Engel", „das weiß ich. Doch sah ich auch einen Menschen, der hatte die Kraft, einen großen Schirm aufzuspannen, sodass zwei Menschen darunter Platz hatten." Es schien mir, den Beiden könnte kein Unwetter etwas anhaben."

Mit fester Stimme erwiderte der kleine Engel: „Wohl habe ich auch das Düstere, Traurige und Schreckliche gesehen. Doch ich sah auch einen Menschen, der trocknete einem anderen die Tränen, der vergab einem Schuldigen und der reichte einem Sterbenden die Hand. Ich sah eine Mutter, die wiegte ihr krankes, ausgemergeltes Kind durch viele Nächte und wurde nicht müde, die alte leise Melodie der Hoffnung zu summen. Solch ein Mensch möchte ich werden."
Da trat der erhabene, weise Engel zurück und Gott schenkte dem kleinen Engel seinen Segen und gab ihm viel Himmelslicht mit auf die lange Reise.
Bevor der kleine Engel zur Erde niederstieg, nahm ihm der erhabene, weise Engel einen Flügel ab und der andere Flügel wurde unsichtbar.
Da fragte der kleine Engel: Mein Gott, wie soll ich vorwärtskommen und wie zurückfinden ohne Flügel?"
Das herauszufinden, wird deine Lebensaufgabe sein", hörte er Gottes Stimme zärtlich sagen.
In dieser Nacht kam ein kleines Kind zur Welt. Seine Mutter, noch vor Schmerz und Anstrengung betäubt, nahm das Kind in die Arme, sah das Himmelslicht wie einen Lockenkranz um das Köpfchen des Kindes leuchten und flüsterte: „Sei willkommen unter uns, mein kleiner Engel."
Noch lange sah man das Himmelslicht um das Kind. Doch wie das Leben so ist, es beschmutzt auch die reinsten und hellsten Lichter. All die vielen Einflüsse, die Härte und der Kampf taten ein Übriges.
Bald sah niemand mehr, dass der Mensch ein himmlisches Licht in sich trug.
Zwar machte sich der unsichtbare Flügel hier und da bemerkbar, doch was bei dem Kind als träumerischer, schwebender Schritt wahrgenommen wurde, das wirkte bei dem Heranwachsenden eher als unsicheres Schwanken und dann beim Erwachsenen dann nur noch als Hinken und Stolpern.
Je länger der Mensch, der einst ein Engel gewesen war, auf den staubigen und steinigen Wegen des Lebens ging, die mühsamen Treppen bestieg, die steil abfallenden dornigen Hänge hinunter strauchelte, desto mehr hatte er vergessen, woher er kam und weshalb er hier wanderte.
Einzig die große Liebe zu den kleinen roten Mohnblumen, die an Wegrändern und Magerwiesen blühten, war ihm geblieben.
Viel Leidvolles begegnete dem Menschen auf seinem Lebensweg. Zwar konnte er manchmal eine Träne trocknen, sein Brot teilen mit einem Hungernden, doch die meisten Rätsel blieben und er merkte mehr und mehr, wie wenig er tun konnte und wie vieles er unerledigt zurücklassen musste.
Seine Kraft reicht nur für ganz wenig und oft schien es ihm, als bewirkte sein Leben nichts.
Jeden Frühling aber blühte der Mohn an den Straßenrändern und erfreute des Menschen Herz. Nach einem besonders langen kalten Winter, in dem der Mensch kaum genug Wärme und Schutz, Raum und Nahrung, Freundschaft und Brot gefunden hatte, konnte er sich nur noch langsam und mühsam fortbewegen. Er musste viele Pausen machen und schlief vor Erschöpfung am Wegrand ein.
Da erblickte er weit über sich auf einem unerreichbar hohen Felsen eine kleine Wiese voll roten Mohns. Der Mensch rieb sich die Augen. So rot, so rot erblühte der Mohn!
Beim Anblick dieser Blumen wünschte er so sehr, dass er allen Menschen, denen er begegnete und allen Tieren, die um ihn waren, eine solche Blume und so ein klares, inniges Rot als Zeichen der Liebe schenken dürfte.
Da bemerkte er neben sich einen Wanderer, genauso müde, genauso gezeichnet von der langen Straße wie er.
„Wohin schaust Du so voller Sehnsucht und voller Wehmut?" fragte dieser. Schau dort auf die Mohnblüten. So müsste die Farbe unserer Liebe sein." Weißt Du denn nicht, wie schnell diese Art Blumen welken, wie wunderbar sie sind?" kam die Frage des Wanderers.
Der Mensch, der einst ein Engel gewesen war flüsterte: „Ich weiß um ihre Sterblichkeit. Trotzdem ist kein roteres Rot in der Welt und in meinem Herzen. Diese Blumen sind wie die Liebe, mag das Äußere auch welken, ihr Rot bleibt in der Seele"
Da schauten sich die beiden Menschen ins Gesicht und erkannten den letzten Funken Himmelslicht in den Augen des Anderen. Sie sahen, woher sie kamen, wozu sie gewandert waren und wohin sie noch unterwegs waren. Und sie sahen an sich jeweils einen Flügel. Voller Freude umarmten sie sich.
Da geschah das Wunder. Sie erreichten das Mohnfeld, gemeinsam konnten sie fliegen, denn Menschen sind Engel mit nur einem Flügel - um fliegen zu können, müssen sie sich umarmen.
Zu dieser Stunde sagte Gott im Himmel:
Du hast herausgefunden, wozu du unterwegs warst und ich dich aussandte.

You are correct. This video was filmed in Spain. I believe the location was the Rio Tinto mines. They had to use huge cranes to lift them and make believe they were flying.

I just love your reactions and analysis. You bring such a different light to this. One way to look at this video is, in the beginning shots, you see the aftermath of an epic battle. When you hear that clock tick, it's rewinding or jumping back in time to when the battle is going to start, and then ends with the escape.
