I‘ve seen it in after, they never follow the books, they only have this storyline from the author & then they decide what is better for the movie scenes. If half of the fans want Marco & Elle together, the film maker can change the storyline. She should have been with Marco. Their personalities are so similar and complement eachother so well. Elle and Noah were always kind of toxic. They had the worst communication and would both act out on things. Elle and Marco worked so well with eachother. There needs to be a 3rd movie so her and Marco get the ending they deserve and needed. Btw, this song is absolutely perfect for Noah and Elle's relationship in the second movie.
Also since she was doing a A long distance relationship with Noah she’s just setting herself up to be heartbroken because it’s like they’ve already grown apart and the connection is dying also most of the long relationships don’t work out so if they break up eventually and she’s going to be heartbroken when there is an amazing guy who obviously really cares about her and loves her and she has a great relationship with Marco

Noah didn't force her to apply there and to other schools, she did so she could be closer to the one she loves and I see nothing wrong with that. yeah Noah was pretty sketch through out the movie, but let's be honest, she would have never kissed Marco if she knew Noah didn't cheat on her.
Marco was a much better match for Elle because he was more than a boy she could have had a crush on, he was her friend and respected her in all the imaginable ways (even her relationship with Noah, he never made a move or tried to sabotage their relationship). He cared about her in a way we don't get to see many times this day. She chose a relationship built on attraction and old feelings and memories above an amazing friendship that could have (in my humble opinion) turned into true fucking love!
i feel like marco and elle were the way better couple. marco was never angry and used bad tones against her, and he never tried to control her life. in my opinion, she always seemed more relaxed around marco then she ever was with noah. with there being a possible 3rd movie and almost no chance jacob is returning i think this is our time elle and marco shippers!!

But Marco is so sweet, he listened to her, gave her advice to help her relationship WHILE he had feeling for her, never screamed/hurt her. She had experienced more happiness in the few weeks she had spent with Marco than the years she spent with Noah. They admire each other. I can tell Marco would be loyal and un controlling in a relationship when he said "if I found someone who I loved...that was smart, funny and liked the same stuff I liked...I'd never make her feel like that" They deserve each other. The "i was only doing it for your own good" argument is a known gaslight manipulation. She is capable of knowing her own mind and only she has the right to her body, no one else. The fact his own brother in the story is worried and convinced noah hurt her also speaks volumes of how extreme his aggressive side could be. You would not easily suspect a family member of such a horrible act.

Marco was sooo much better. She always felt stressed about/with Noah. Noah LIED! Marco was open and honest, sweet, and even kinda sassy when she needed a laugh(which we love). I think there's gonna be a 3rd part...when Marco's friend told "come on bro, she's not worth it" and then, after few seconds, Marco says "yes she is"....that was so sweet. Btw the actor who plays Marco has a seriously beautiful voice and a beautiful face and figure (some of his side face expression reminded me of a young Al Pacino). Jacob Elordi is a handsome guy as well, he has such a sweet smile that can steal a heart, plus he's tall but I don't like that they changed his hair colour; the sunlights are too evident. It would be difficult to choose between two guys like them (for the looks and personalities) because they're quite different....maybe I liked Marco better because he shows more depth and has that special warmness..so I understand why Elle has feelings for him, but it's right to be with the one she loves (even Noah's character wasn't that present). If she is with Marco, then Noah won't have to be in the next movie, which is what it seems like Jacob wants. If Jacob chooses not to, then there wont be another movie. And it's quite awkward because they are exes that have to be together in a movie. And Joey and Taylor have a great friendship in real life, so being with Marco is perfectttt. It wont be awkward or hard with him. The relationship is just healthier and easier with Marco.

It is not a girlfriend or boyfriends job to fix their partners anger issues. It is the person who has the anger issues who needs to help themselves, no one else can take that responsibility. To fear someone is going to snap and fight someone physically is not healthy and shouldn't be romanticised. The fact his brother thinks he could have hit elle, the fact he made her flinch when slamming his hands on car is not romantic.

You cannot ever place the responsibility of someones mental health on someone else. There is a great difference between supporting someone to where they get professional help and what you are trying to say, that a teenager girl who is ill equipped to deal with such things having to 'manage' them. No psychological professional would EVER give that advice.

I know you all know this, but they didn’t end up together so the producers could get the chance to make a third movie.
I loved the movie... and I love that she and Noah worked things out... we cannot choose who we love and this movie is all about how easy misunderstandings can happen... it is something that happens in every day life... I just hope that we can all go home a little bit wiser... we dont get to choose who loves who... this is Elle and Noah's story... The fun part is, that Marco hasnt given up and that it's left wide open for another movie :) ... ... I must admit - I havent read the 3rd book yet and Im in 2 minds if I should :)

Yeah Noah is controlling and aggressive. He didn't even consider her feelings when he told all the boys to stay away from her. But Marco is so sweet, he listened to her, gave her advice to help her relationship WHILE he had feeling for her, and never screamed/hurt her. Elle deserves Marco... Not Noah(in my opinion)

Marco was sooo much better. She always felt stressed about/with Noah. Noah LIED! Marco was open and honest, sweet, and even kinda sassy when she needed a laugh(which we love). Marco and Elle were easy going, and happy, genuine, no stress or worries. And he totally genuinely loves her! Even when she didn't want him!!!!

Btw the actor who plays Marco has a seriously beautiful voice and a beautiful face and figure (some of his side face expression reminded me of a young Al Pacino). Jacob Elordi is a handsome guy as well, he has such a sweet smile that can steal a heart, plus he's tall but I don't like that they changed his hair colour; the sunlights are too evident.
It would be difficult to choose between two guys like them (for the looks and personalities) because they're quite different....maybe I liked Marco better because he shows more depth and has that special warmness..so I understand why Elle has feelings for him, but it's right to be with the one she loves (even Noah's character wasn't that present). Marco and Elle needed more time to get to know eachother better and get deeper into their feelings. Maybe in a 3rd chapter...who knows? 😉 I wouldn't mind.

They should have made her and Marco end up together. Because how are they gonna make another movie if Jacob (Noah) is pretty much done with the movies. If she is with Marco, then Noah won't have to be in the next movie, which is what it seems like Jacob wants. If Jacob chooses not to, then there wont be another movie. And it's quite awkward because they are exes that have to be together in a movie. And Joey and Taylor have a great friendship in real life, so being with Marco is perfectttt. It wont be awkward or hard with him. The relationship is just healthier and easier with Marco.
