    His Rectum of the Year monologue on 8 out of 10 Cats was hilarious. Also when he was sick and, Joe Wilkinson was doing his 'naming people's penises' poem and Sean was absolutely choking with laughter gave me joy.

    He is right about it all. America does do it more, not shure more on pro rata tho.
    When your contry sauyd its pumping x billion into thr economy, financial easing, better known as printing, what they are a tually doing is orinting government bonds (usally 10 year) granteed to pay out 5% of face value evey year and granted the face vale back at the end. So you buy a bond for 100usd, each year for 10 yrs get 5usd, then at the end get your 100isd back, so in total you get a 150Back for your 100 investment.
    Its china that hold alot of these bonds. The american goverment debt its about 33trillion usd, over 10% is held by china. 3.3trillion. thats a chunk of change.
    Thr rest is mostly held by companies allover the world. Pension funds, banks, and investment funds.
    One of the initial evconomic issues america have atm is when works intests was set at almost zero, these bonds was sold at 2.5 or 3% and seemed a good investment. Alot of smaller banks have these now low yeald assets, and inteset is sat above 5,6,7 percent, so its fundementally breaking there business mondel, and they cant sell the bonds as no one wants a lowere yeild fund, thsn what the base rate is sat at.
    If i cousl noreow for 2 percent, and buy a 5pecent bond, then its a good deal, untill your 2percent payments are now 7pc. Now rhe bind is costinf you. Thsts how alot of small banks in america was operation. A fair few other industries too.
    This has nithign ti do with why china has he debt. Atm because americ is getting hostile with china,china is using its yeilds to buy up huge portions of america, million and millions of hectors, all with the americas own money. This is just incase america sanction china and seize chinas money. Which is what they done with russia and the 300bn they 'held' (stole). So china are hedging agaisnt that, with out having to spend its own money. Its actually cashing the bonds in slowly.
    Its not just america. The uk is the same, as is all of the west. China basiclly just keep giving us credit to by there own shit. They have got to the point no i dount they could be santioned, as we couldn't finction without thenm

    The reason there’s no jobs in those cities is there is a wait for the implementation of artificial intelligence and automation technology to build up the manufacturing base in America of everyday items like textiles and clothing fabrics, don’t need a queue of cattle people anymore,just automation, no one is interested in a manufacturing base reinterpretating the 1940’s, manufacturing doesn’t need a dumpster load of poor people earning minimum wage now, it needs a new warehouse full of automation from end to end on an assembly line, materials recycled in and finished product out the other end delivered by electric vehicle. “Your manufacturing base don’t need no history s**t!” I’m not building c**p from the past when far better is definitely going to happen. The economy works differently now, tax and employment is dead, get used to it, everyone’s economy is in transition from museum methods to 5th generation industrial technology and sustainability from a drunken celebration of the mid 20th century by futureless people who didn’t know any better.
    Now all sh*t jobs given to robots while humanity goes robo sapien in a new genus in 2025. Happy America the result. ✌️❤️🇬🇧 infrastructure repairs completed 👍

    My favourite Sean Lock moment was on QI.
    He correctly answered that ALL of the panel were most probably descendants of Charlemagne, but then his head exploded when Stephen Fry explained that we have more ancestors than people who have ever lived ! David Mitchell was also on point in that same bit.

    • @ethelmini
      @ethelmini 8 місяців тому

      Huh?
      How's that possible when there are people who lived who weren't yer mum 'n dad, any of your 4 grandparents....
      Regressing to before we were a species isn't quite interesting.

    • @Relyx
      @Relyx 8 місяців тому

      @ethelmini It's not possible. It's more that you have 2 parents, 4 grandparents and you keep on doubling. By the time you go back 33 generations (which if we say there are 4 generations in 100 years would mean we are talking approx. 1200AD) you have approx. 8.6 billion great x 31 grandparents, even though the global population was roughly 350 million back then. So of course, it's bollocks, because it ignores both near and far degrees of incest, and that family tree branches do crossover, which is called pedigree collapse. It does however highlight the fact that if you go far back enough we will all have common ancestry, be it consanguine or through marital ties. If you ignore separation of cultures, statistically we are all very likely to be descendants of Genghis Khan and Charlemagne and anyone else from during and before the medieval period. If you are Eurasian then it's a near certainty they are an ancestor of yours, on account of a millennia long history of intermingling on the landmass, thanks to conquerors, traders, slavers, nomads, and the diplomatic marriages of royals. As long as they had kids, and those kids had kids and so forth, you will inevitably be a product of that lineage. A fun thought that results from this is that everyone is theoretically somewhere in line for every throne.

    • @Dreyno
      @Dreyno 8 місяців тому

      How can you have more ancestors than people who’ve ever lived?

    • @dextergeorge6641
      @dextergeorge6641 8 місяців тому

      @@Dreyno Because one person can be more than one ancestor - for example if I had 2 children, and they both had children, and my grandchildren had a child together then I would be 2 ancestors despite being one person. Maternal great-grandfather and paternal great-grandfather. Now that was just an incestual example, think many more generations over a long period of time and one person could be your ancestor 10+ times very easily.

    • @Dreyno
      @Dreyno 8 місяців тому

    Primary Industry (raw materials) --> Secondary Industry (manufacture raw materials into goods) --> Tertiary Industry (service provided with goods) --> Quaternary Industry (service without goods, e.g. entertainment, finance, etc.)
    China is at stage 2. UK and USA are moving from stage 3 to 4. As you move up the chain profit margins are higher but investment is higher too (barrier to entry). You have to have money to make money. One of the UKs biggest exports is education (University), for example but that requires world-class service which costs a lot of money but also makes a lot of money.
    There's not much point, other than self-sufficiency, to regressing back to previous industries. The economy would shrink as profits are lower.

Shame that probably won't happen with a fictional character in real life cos del boy was my inspiration as a kid, i remember being between 8 and 10 years old and a teacher asking me what i wanna do, i said same as del boy and got told off. Anyway they filmed only fools and horses in Bristol and weston quite a lot and David jason is very rude in real life. He can't spare 5-10 minutes max which is a shame as I'm such a fan of his work. Anyway another famous bloke who stays in Bristol is tony robinson who plays baldrick in blackadder. He is very nice in real life. If anyone in Britain reading this ends up in Bristol look for a pub called the failand arms. Tony has all the time in the world for us.
