ehh I dont think its anything serious like OCD maybe he is just on the less creative side, but yea I hate how he says he tries to make things realistic but then ends up with a bunch of unrealistic things. I also hate how in every habitat he does the same things like bushes, ponds, etc. Dont get me wrong I still love this series.
@@alinadornieden8411 ridiculous* well also its a dragon and it's for the komodo dragons. When most people think of dragons they think of... Destroying, life taking beasts that create massacres reiving havoc. Not so much of colours but tbh I like it. And it ain't much of an OCD problem
Dude there is a thing on the heat map where you can see traversable area, and it tells you where the animal can move. They might not be able to get to the actual entrance of the cave cause of the hill and the map tells you that.
You forgot to put donation boxes on a lot of exhibits like the grizzlies, tortoises, dragons, etc. Also, you can use one-way glass for the stressed out animals like the aardvarks:)
Well, one-way glass is best used for animals that are not in the open because if you put the oneway glass for the aardvarks they might still be stressed from all the noise because of how open the habitat they're in is. I don't know just my theory.
Yo tmartin in some of those empty spaces put some food or drink places or at least the one near the dragons it would be a perfect spot and you could still fit some staff buildings behind it
Dude, you need to cut back on a few things: -Little colorful flowers around each tree trunk -Flowers lining the fence -Trees growing out of rocks and hills as a centerpiece -Connect the paths so it flows. No one wants to walk into a dead end
Yes exactly, I was waiting for someone to mention this. I hate how he says he tries to make things realistic but then ends up with a bunch of unrealistic stuff. I also think he should cut back on making every exhibit have a pond, yea sure it's fine but its getting kinda repetitive at this point.
GamingTv he’s putting a pond so it looks nice and Komodo dragons like a little water every now and then and if you have a problem with how he does his vids then just stop watching them. It’s that simple
Trev, I recently learned that the animals tend to get tired of having the same toys all the time and that‘s why their enrichment drops, so it‘s easier to put a few toys in and swap them out for other ones every once in a while. Therefore, you can put the same items back in after a while instead of having to constantly keep adding more stuff. Also, I just learned that the blue donation bins give you money and the green ones, as I‘ve heard so I am not sure, give you conservation points. That might be worth a try. Have a nice day!
On a house keeping episode where there is some space next to the smaller exhibits. Make a nice sitting area. I feel like there isn’t much places to sit and people can have their food and just take a break. Or just make a massive food court area with all the restaurants and a heap of sitting. Just a thought
TmarTn, one possible reason why you had trouble with the shelter is because your river is blocking the entire pathway to it and the hill. So not only can the Komodo Dragons not go that way, the keepers cant get on the hill to clean if needed. You could try and shorten the river and see if that works so you can fill that "cheat" entrance back up.
Yay!! I LOVE these Vids!!!❤️❤️ Thank you SOOOO much Trev for making these planet zoo vids. They make me so happy and are one of the only vids i ever get excited for!!😂❤️❤️
I love how much the zoo has progressed. I always be worried about the guest when I watch planet zoo Like guest need Lamps and shade and bathrooms 😂 and the exhibits that are for the animals in the little displays could put those infront of food stands or picnic areas
Lol you are really churning these out. You should change all the glass in the habitats to one way glass, that way your animals wont get stressed from people looking at them, which means more money from the guests since the animals will be happier. :) Also if you go to terrain, one of the tabs is for 'terrain stamps' which plants a big blob of raised shapes of land wherever you put it and you can sculpt hard shelter out of them instead of having to place a million rocks. For staff issues, you dont need to hire a new keeper when it says staff cant get to the habitat, it's saying that because you havent added the new habitat to a work zone.
Dude what would be cool trevor if at the end of these new exhibits you make like a little 1 minute montage of like a camera showing off the exhibit and following the animals around in it.
You can check transversal area for your animals by clicking the radar on the bottom far right of your screen to help you solve the spatial issues quicker. Best habitat yet though! Keep up the great work!
There is a way to expand an exhibit without totally having to go out of your way, you can select whichever side of the exhibit you wish to expand, select all the barriers and pull back, then you’ll have an expanse. (Sorry not quite sure which button to pull back) As for the items you can group items together, and move an assortment of items all at once. (Not exactly sure how to do it) Sorry I’m not able to identify the exact keys to press and pull, but I hope these tips help!
For that little space between the springbock enclosure and the other one, you could see how much space that is, and check the animals, it might be big enough for some species.
Zoos do generally have their animals eat where people can see it, even if their food is meat. Feeding times are advertised and generally get big crowds, with the zoo keepers telling people about the animals as they eat
What I think you should do in my opinion... make different zoo's in all the locations. Set an animal goal, like get the lions and other high value animals, and once you get them then move to another location. You can use the same animals or different ones. You can learn from each zoo what works and what dosent. You can try different things and then go back to the past zoo's and fix them up. Instead of building off of only 1
14:43 While it is true that Komodo Dragon bites can cause infection, that is a byproduct of its venomous bite. Komodo Dragon venom acts like an anticoagulant; it stops the wound from healing. This usually means that the victim dies from blood loss after around 24 hours if it gets a good bite on you, but you could also die from a resulting infection. Also, I'd like to clear up a misconception about poison and venom being used interchangeably. While they do similar things, it is how each are administered into the body that makes them different. With poison, the general rule is that poison is used as a defense. Animals such as the poison dart frogs, some species of newts, and pufferfish have to be bitten or attacked in order for their poison to enter the body. With venom, on the other hand, the general rule is that venom is used as an offensive weapon. Animals such as vipers, cone snails, and Komodo Dragons have to bite, sting, or use another sharp object to administer the venom directly into the blood stream. However, there are a few exceptions to the rule of venom. The Stonefish and Lionfish, for example, are considered to be some of the most venomous fish on the planet, but they don't use venom offensively. Instead, they have spines on their fins that they use to ward off predators.
Zoo really coming together also soon you should try making a community habitat with a few different species you can make it really big with a lot of cool features
trev with that area opened at the back that has staff buildings you can make it into a food court where customers can buy food and even get info. Uo should also make the land for the exhibits deeper so some people can look into the exhibits
It would be so nice to see a bit more of the animals in action. We get like 3 seconds, i would love to see just a bit more of them running around or doing stuff
Commodo dragon exhibit is three times the size they actually need and lions was the smallest one i feel like they might have space problems when the cubs grow. And it wouldve beeen coolerr to giveeeee lions a little more space.
Hey trev, if you like these maybe consider roller coaster planet. A little off series in the dry seasons. Would love to see the crazy stuff you come up with. Keep up the good stuff my guy💙
You can check if the path is traversable or not. That could be one of the reason it doesn't classify as hard shelter, because the animals can't enter or leave. Just a thought 💭
Hey you could use the rocks as a wall for your maintenance centers you could also use the rocks for your gas to go through a cave for them selves from exhibit to exhibit
Just thought you should know that if you go into construction and search waterfall you should be able to get that effect😌 just thought it would help btw live your vids 😊
I think you go way overboard sometimes with space for habitats as well as coverage! If you stick to the recommended sizes of habitats, you can fit more in certain areas and wont need as many workers, generators, transformers, etc.
I don’t know if you know this but animals get bored of using the same toys so you have to take them out and you can put them back in after a while, you just have to switch off toys to keep them happy
Trev has some blocker in his head to where he refuses to place a tree without putting colorful plants around the base lol. Great video dude!
yeah kinda redicoulus at this point. it looks super strange and unrealistic. he should get checked for ocd maybe...
ehh I dont think its anything serious like OCD maybe he is just on the less creative side, but yea I hate how he says he tries to make things realistic but then ends up with a bunch of unrealistic things. You were so close to finding the waterfalls!!!! They're under construction, then effects, same as the smoke!
tera boo he needs to know this. Tweet this @ him he responds to so many. He’s responded every time for me
Kaiya Hayes well then you do it
@@jodimanning8693 Welp he figured it out in later videos so -_( " / )_-

I HAVE BENN TELLING HIM THIS FOR THE LONGEST BUT HE DID NOT CARE
Good eye
Alexsy Anderson IKR
He put donation boxes at grizzlies and tortoises
You should put lights on the eyes of the dragon at night time
Make sure to use one sided glass. It makes it so the animals aren’t stressed by the people.
Echo he hasn’t gotten enough research for that
Ava White all of his mechanic research is complete. It is shown in Episode 19.
He completed all the research and you can see the one sided fence in the shop
Bro I know that I just didn’t see it at first
In the Komodo enclosure make sure there’s a path or bridge to the island in the middle. The keepers won’t get across the water to clean it.
Do Tigers or hyenas. You could use the dragon skeleton for the hyenas like the big skeleton in lion King
"if they want to rub one off" -Trev 2020 24:37
I was looking to see if anyone noticed and time stamped that. Here is your like
Dude I heard him say that and immediately came to the comment section 😂
Ohio you beat me to it
You really need to start using 1 way glass Especially on all glass habitats
Yo tmartin in some of those empty spaces put some food or drink places or at least the one near the dragons it would be a perfect spot and you could still fit some staff buildings behind it
Just want to remind everyone that he said keep watch of the people before the lions, now he has 3300 from 1700
Imagine being assigned to a work zone called everything else in real life lmao
I'm so happy I got planet zoo yesterday its was a late Christmas present like and you get planet zoo
Is it good I was thinking about getting it
Yeah it's good just a bit laggy her and there but over all it's good
Ok thanks
i just got it too! i played for like 12 hours straight lol
I want it but I don’t have enough money on steam

Victor 1234 No but my country is your northern neighbour! “Groeten uit Nederland” translated to Greetings from the Netherlands

Do an episode with Chelc, or a roller coaster that goes through the entire zoo.
The reason it doesn’t count as hard shelter is because it’s not made out of the rocks they like so therefore they won’t like it as much

I love this series. I think you should do like a 2 hour stream of it.
Love these series thanks
You should connect the long path to the tortoise walkthrough path and put another door for the guests.
This episode is rated R because Trev said “if they want to rub one off” And “Skinnier point” Also “extra hard” What the heck bro
Trevor! You should look into putting some of the new DLC content into one of the next enclosures. It all looks pretty cool. Keep up the good work.
Komodo dragons are awesome, dragons of the wild 🐲🐉
Put bathrooms, gift and other shops in that area between the two habitats. Give more room to the lions and ostriches they like to run and stuff.
With that big bone structure you could put a hyena exhibit and have that in there I think that would go along with hyenas
Trev, PLEASE use one-way glass! This will keep the animal's stress levels down!!
The special effects is how you make a water fall and you have the ripples in the water and smoke
You should’ve put a path over the gemsbok enclosure and then the negative impact wouldn’t affect the visitors and you could get to the right place.
Chang the color of the letters on the lion sign because it’s really hard to see. Please like so trev will see
Put another food court in the open space @5:45

By far my favorite animal/ reptile. 😁😁😁
