This is an exact copy of leisure travel vans from Canada. They came out with this floor plan 2 years ago. They have a 3 year waiting list to buy this floor plan.
The new 2024 Jayco Condor is also a copy of Winnebago EKKO. It is good to see this competition. I doubt Tiffin can match LTV quality, but they can beat the timeline. Plus it is a great floorplan!
There is so much to like about this new floorplan👍my only concerns are having to make the bed and having to store cushions every night, and the lack of a comfortable seating area if your spouse goes to bed a couple of hours before you😮
Buyers are tired of buying slide out RVs that leak, breakdown and just simply don’t work. If slideluts are not built good then they are rain traps and water is death to an Rv. Love love love 💕 this RV ❤❤❤😊😊😊
If tiffin would make a drop down bed like old safari trek motorhomes (drop from ceiling), pocket door for bathroom from front and rear lounge. Remove over head bunk (useless) add windshield to front cap, move kitchen further forward (straight galley or stove 1 side sink other and have small sofa with arm tables) just thought no slides awsome just needs better execution.
Nice rig, but sorry, agree with Matt, with this bed you 're stuck with huge cushions you don't know where to put, and you have to jump over your partner to get out of the bed... And the booster seats, stuck with more cushions... it feels very cramped at the front. It is a nice try, but nothing close to the LTV. What is the OCCC?
Great video. I like almost everything about this floor plan. The thing I don’t get is those two weird seats in the front. I don’t see the need since the drive and passenger seat spin around. They could use that space for storage. Good job on the video. Thanks.
I think I would have to stick with Tiffin's RW, Murphy Bed over the RLW Rear Lounge. It seems that Tiffin and another manufacturer that have created their rendition of LTV's Rear Lounge have come up short. I wish they would copy LTV's FX (Murphy front, lounge rear) with the small slide, but thus far, no-one. The non-starter for me is the bed. The problem is the orientation of the 58x74 with the 74 the width of the RV. That means you will be sleeping east/west rather than north/south and tight with no room to tiptoe around. With the east/west arrangement, one person has to crawl over the other in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Of course, the good news is that there is no 3 year wait. Also, I may be wrong but appears the fridge is dual opening from eather side. It wasn't demonstrated but you can clearly see handles on the shower side when the video is looking towards the front. Also, Tiffin tends to put the yellow OCCC sticker on the driver doorframe.
Tiffin did make a few improvements over the Unity, even if it is a pretty shameless copy. The hydronic heating system, aluminum cargo doors, the newer style of house entry door, etc. The build quality is probably lesser but hard to tell from a video. I'm not including the central vac in my list. Seems like a waste of space in a motorhome with almost no floor space. Replacing the couch with theater seats would totally veto this RV for me, but I wonder if it's an option.
Like the idea.....but I would do something different with the seats up front.....one or 2 swivel captains chairs in place of those small benches..... And a simpler seating area in the rear with an overhead drop down bunk(similar to a toy hauler) if they were able to incorporate all that....they would of nailed it
I really like this RV! The rear lounge is awesome, and the Murphy bed is very cool, and looks comfortable. I just question if someone taller than Matt can recline in the seats. It looks like anyone much taller than Matt wouldn’t fit in the reclined position. The wardrobe storage was isn’t much. I thought the bathroom/shower areas were nice. The kitchen is small, but it’s laid out well enough based on the size of the area to work with. I’m not too sure about the dinette area, as I much prefer a regular dinette set up, even if it only sits two. Of course, the MBZ chassis is always a plus. I was very surprised at how much exterior storage is on this. There’s more storage than you see on Class C’s. Although it a very nice RV, I find the prices on these to be outrageous! I’ll never, ever understand why the cost is so much higher than a Class C, most 5th wheels and even some Class A’s! I’ll bet the profit margins on Class B’s are better than any other RV.
I like most of this but that bed I don't know if I would put it up during the day, I don't like that round sink in the kitchen, I like the bathroom. Would have been nice to know the price.
I would definitely go into a B+ with this floor plan and I’ve noticed that usually you don’t get high end furniture. This is perfect for me and my hubby for retirement ❤fromX
Matt with every RV review: "You're going to have mirrors on both sides"..... It's kinda like saying: "you're going to have wheels on all corners"....LOL
Matt, you say no propane, but the specs you showed says it has a 12gal propane tank, and the fridge is gas/elec. I must have a propane tank somewhere, right?
Marty with RV Street said that “Everything works great : until it doesn’t “. It’s the, when it doesn’t, that is a nightmare for any new or old RVer. No one want to “work” on their new or semi new RV.
If i do no slides then i would just build a bus out myself. I could do all the stuff the luxury stuff the big coaches have for a fraction of the price.
Hey, Matt, Please tell me that the front passenger seat reclines a little. Hubby's had broken back twice, and would need the back of it to adjust back a bit. If so, this might just be our new rv !❤
I agree about those front seats. I would rather have a little more counter space on the one side and maybe a small seat with storage space on the other side. I don't like the rear bed either. I would be more apt to just leave the bed down and use it as my couch to relax as well. Maybe the sofa just needs to convert into a bed. I would also say I don't like that it's on a Mercedes chassis. Mercedes just adds too much to the cost.
I agree about the bed, just leave it down, I'm not doing that every night. I disagree about the chassis though. Until Ford give us a diesel I'll take the Mercedes.
Anyone considering the Tiffin B+ should make sure they have improved their cargo carrying capacity weight. If you can't take your clothes, dishes and bedding with you, you aren't going to have much fun.
Since I would not want a Mercedes Sprinter, would rather have this on a Transit. The cushions look like they would fit under the bed when the bed is down. The overhead cabinets in the back are kind of useless and would require a step stool to be able to reach (for most of us). The bathroom situation is good. The front of the unit would be only marginally comfortable. No slide is a very good thing. No propane is a very good thing. I would not want an absorption-type refrigerator and this one does not have that--also a very good thing.
Good review; I agree with your likes and dislikes, especially disliking the seats behind the cab and lack of storage for clothes. The bathroom needs a medicine cabinet for us old folks who have a bunch of prescriptions.
It looks as if there is room in the dump/valve bay to install a waste master always connected hose? Why, oh why don’t they just come permanently connected???
Hi Matt and Andrea! My dislikes are the Murphy bed set up and the round sink and too small of a bunk. Like the shower the lounger in the back and no slides. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
Yes, this is a Rear Lounge LTV floor plan. Leisure Travel Vans have been innovators in the B+/small C category. They introduce a floor plan then others copy them. They have several interesting floor plans with very nice materials.
I am not a fan of the B class anything. I does not make sense to me it cost as much as a gas class A or an entry level Super C. But I know there are people who want that compact vehicle and I say more power to them.
I agree with the front seating area. Give us an OPTION of maybe a bigger kitchen with more cabinets on the one side and maybe a closet space on the other for coats or clothes/food. ALSO an OPTION for cabinets above the cab like LTV does. NOBODY is sleeping up there, let's just be honest and people are using it for storage anyways so give us a better storage option. Great looking unit and would be perfect with those options. I actually see this as a good full time unit if you could option it with a bigger kitchen like I said. the back isn't that much work for bed, but I do agree about the cabinets being tiny. I bet Tiffin changes that soon anyway.
@@pierredaigneault5615 the floor plan is great. They are the only one to get this back lounge thing right. They are also the only one to get the bathroom and shower size right. It would just be nice to have a few options in it. Let’s be honest, a family isn’t buying this thing and there’s no need for that tiny bunk over the cab. Getting rid of the seating up front should just be an option for those who would prefer more kitchen space and have no need for that seating. The front seats swivel around as well. This is not a coach that’s going to need that much seating. Couples are buying this thing.
Just think, Matt is 5 foot 4 inches and he could spread out on the first seat he sat in and the recliner is feet almost touched. To enjoy this area you have to be short. Plus when you sleep on the bed your head will be below your feet. Hope you don’t have high blood pressure.
Hey Matt and Andrea, thanks for the review! Not a fan of a round sink or the small bunk over the cab. I would like to see a drop down bed in the back so you could leave the area set up-I don't care for moving cushions around! 😊 Love the separate shower area and a porcelain toilet! The rear lounge is cool. Keep on keepin' on!
The idea is great but it lacks the quality one should expect from Tiffin & Mercedes. As a workhorse it would be useful but not for vacations unless you travel alone. Even for one person it’s a van at best.
someone should lead the movement to take the passenger seat out of RVs. I would love to see how engineers could re-engineer that space, I mean you could get a fridge in that space if it was engineered right.
Why do US manufacturers refuse to make a 20 foot B+? I do NOT want a camper van. I want a RV coach built for living lashed to a MB, Sprinter or Transit chassis. I don't need to house 3 or more people. I'd buy a wingamm oasi if it were available.
This is a nice B van. I usually skip the B van videos as I don't think they would work for my tall hubby, but this might actually be the exception. Nicely done. ❤
Seems this is an rv for people who dont want to, or are afraid, to drive a real rv. Weekend use only? Likes: benz, murphy bed, Dislikes: too small, no slides, plastic shower door, bunk over cab is not suitable for sleeping but storage, $202k msrp wow I wouldm't pay 102k.
I'm sorry but someone is completely off there rocker to price this at $202,000, that is insanity for a small motor home. I'd start being interested at $100,000
To be truthfull, I dont care anymore about Matt's PPP because I am short like him but I lost 90 pounds in the last 3years and dont sit legs spread at 90degrees like him LOL And on couches and seats, I dont sit on my leg like he does either, so most would probably be fine by me. Me too! 😀👍
Hey guys, please show us how the drawers are constructed! We want to know if they’re stapled (junk) or dovetailed!
Something I love is the flip down large counter space
If I was going to go full time I would definitely go no slide - less things that can break when repeat using on a daily basis?
If all they say about the new Sprinter’s reliability is true, a stuck slide could be the least of your problems.

Trying to imitate Leisure Travel Vans floorplans.
The drop down bed, setting it up every night, wouldn't bother me. I'd adapt to that easily.

It's cute. Love a lot of features. Wonder if they make a rear bathroom with NO slides.
I am a anti Mercedes/ diesel rv person, but I really like this floor plan. Does it come in a Ford? or Ram?
Not that I can find online.
Leisure Travel Van
LTV comes with either a Mercedes or Ford chassis
Matt I agree with you. The lounge area is all wrong. It would have been great if they put in the van life twin bed design.
If this is a success, Tiffin will have plenty of LTV floor plans to copy.
Shouldn’t the large rear lounge window be on the curb side versus the drivers side?
A knock off of the LTV Rear lounge model!
Need this layout on a big Ford chassis that has a enough payload that can tow a trailer! Short sweet and tow capacity…and no Mercedes.
Matt, you say no propane, but the specs you showed says it has a 12gal propane tank, and the fridge is gas/elec. I must have a propane tank somewhere, right?
That must be for the one that has propane.this one I believe was all electric.
