Stop trying to frame a pitch. When you move the mitt, you are telling the ump that it is a ball and I have to make it look good. Stick the pitch where ever it is and you should get more good calls.

if you dont frame sometimes then the ump will call a ball. if you frame a little but then its a higher chance they call a strike
Frame pitches that are a little outside of the zone you'll have a higher probability of getting a strike
