HI Rob, thank you for this! I laughed so hard I almost bust a gut. This was absolutely hilarious. I don't play violin but I absolutely love the sound of it and as an adult I think it is the most beautiful sounding instrument out there. Especially since traditional and modern Celtic music has become one of my favorite styles of music and the violin is an essential instrument for them. I used to be a clarinetist from 4th grade through to high school but haven't played any musical instruments in the last 35 years and just started to learn piano as it was a more reasonable instrument for me to start learning at my age, and I am loving it. Thanks again for this video and I plan on watching your other videos on this topic.
It's that "I expect the worst out of every situation, but if it turns out to be better than that, it's a good day" look. Just like you said, all of the Serbs and Albanians I've met have it =D
A violin is one of the most beautiful sounding instruments in the world. But at the same time it can produce the most irritating and enraging sounds if you play it wrong. It's like an angel and a demon lurking between the strings at the same time:)
Many people don’t understand how good he plays the wrong way. He plays like an real beginner. It’s like u try do ride the bicycle like a beginner as a Tour the France Biker, it’s really hard, trust me haha
I have no idea how this video showed up in my feed. This was fun to watch. I have loved the violin since I was 12 years old when I heard it for the first time at summer camp. I still remember clearly standing in the back of the chapel (it was standing room only) I don’t even remember if it was a man or a woman who was playing-the sweet music enveloped me and transported me somewhere else. I was embarrassed to realize I was crying and tried to make myself invisible. For some reason,I never pursued the violin. I played guitar in middle & highschool and college-like just about everyone else did in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. I’ll be 70 next month! I would love more than anything to learn to play! I know it takes a lifetime, but Hey! Grandma Moses didn’t start painting until she was 78! Maybe I have a few good years left?
The versatility of the violin is incredible. It can easily move from Bach to Bluegrass; not so with the bass. The piano is also versatile but not easily transported.
Ok it’s impressive how he makes it look so genuine, like in the first video where he did this there were some giveaways especially with the one tuning but In this one it seemed like a person who was new to the violin
The violin is the most beautiful sounding instrument ever to be made. The complex melodies, the skill, the way the strings vibrate against the bridge and the bow in a way angels would weep. It's magical. Definitely my favorite instrument.
Rob: I am the worse beginner student ever. I even bought the cheapest violin to play the part. Also Rob: keeps his electric violin hanging on the wall.
I can't even play violin but I feel that struggle 😅 Teachers in my university thinking students have enough time to invest at least 400 hours in a month for self teaching 🙂👍
The tonal range, versatility and portability of the violin are truly functional. It would be a beautiful addition to a home for those who love to perform individually or as accompaniment. Personally, I love it’s place throughout history and the creative artistry by a gifted luthier.

No wonder why they are so good!
Lingling xD
And the teachers said nothing about that
Wait! There are only 24 hours in a day... Uhhh...
Absolutely hilarious video, but such awesome violin teachers! They were so patient with all of your shenanigans!!
Me: Tries really hard to become better at the violin
Rob: Tries very hard to be the worst
Weird flex Rob but ok
A violin is one of the most beautiful sounding instruments in the world. But at the same time it can produce the most irritating and enraging sounds if you play it wrong. It's like an angel and a demon lurking between the strings at the same time:)
What is the third song name pls..
Yeah sometimes I do the "bad" noises to annoy my family
@@l4mb_ch0p so unmercifully of you😁
@@1DENich1 haha
I think alot of instruments
Even when pretending to be a beginner, you can tell he's a pro by the way he handles the instrument and the bow.
And he was almost always in perfect tune, and when he wasn't he did that micro movement that put the note in tune. That might arouse suspicion.
He handled the stuff by breaking it.
@@langhamp8912 Well, probably wouldn't notice it until you look for it.
I don't think I could ever decide between instruments. They are all as beautiful as the story they are telling through the person playing it.
“You look like Rob Landes”. Hahahha
No, Its DeFeNeTlY nOt A rOb, No...
No, he looks like Lost Landes...lol
Lol I wonder why XD
*nervously pretending*
When charlie chaplin went secretly to a competition in which participants had to look like charlie chaplin he got 3rd rank.
Many people don’t understand how good he plays the wrong way. He plays like an real beginner. It’s like u try do ride the bicycle like a beginner as a Tour the France Biker, it’s really hard, trust me haha
I feel kinda bad for the teachers, they look so stressed out
I have no idea how this video showed up in my feed.
They are really impressive
Hi
Dude your are everywhere
Not here also
When I see the video, I already think I know what will happen
Why do i see you everywhere?
Rob: Why is the violin better than the piano or the bass guitar?
Me: Well, Einstein played the violin
Dont let Daive504 see this!!!
Or he will call the police!!
yeah why
He plays bass right?
If he wasn’t acting, I would feel bad for him 😭😭😭
Same...
yep true
Feel bad for me then. 😞
Rob you should get all the teachers together and play your hearts out all together!
Rob: Playing terrible
All the teacher in there minds: Why didnt I get another student
The second teacher: *What is wrong with him*
I feel sorry for those trainers. We only heard that for like 10 mins but they had to bare for 45mins each.😂😂😂
HAHAHAHAH
Because he does clip
😂
One lesson was 50 minutes...
Gotta get his moneys worth lol
Jessica just recognised him right away 🤣
Yeah...
😂
HoW?
Yeah
lol... busted!
The versatility of the violin is incredible. It can easily move from Bach to Bluegrass; not so with the bass. The piano is also versatile but not easily transported.
Rob: "Why is violin better than a bass?"
Davie504: *Angry Italian Noises*
not EPICO
Rob gonna get slap
*What*
How about piano? marcus veltri 🤐
He can't make angry Italian noises because he has to do real personality reveal at 9M subs
“It’s got four fine tuners and is really just made of flimsiest materials and sounds like a cardboard box.”
Oh no my violin has been exposed
I thought you were a professional violinist.
I didn’t know that you were also a professional actor.
Why not both
This deserves more like tbh
Ok it’s impressive how he makes it look so genuine, like in the first video where he did this there were some giveaways especially with the one tuning but In this one it seemed like a person who was new to the violin
Very cringing and a lot of fun to watch! Great job, Rob!
The violin is the most beautiful sounding instrument ever to be made. The complex melodies, the skill, the way the strings vibrate against the bridge and the bow in a way angels would weep. It's magical. Definitely my favorite instrument.
Beautifully worded!
why i feel still his worst sounds better than me
Don't say that! I'm sure that your great!
Exactly
plot twist: this commenter is making an video "title: I pretended to be a worst violin player"
@@homesweethome1706 don't reveal secrets
Fix your English first then talk plzz 😂 😂
Rob: I am the worse beginner student ever. I even bought the cheapest violin to play the part.
Also Rob: keeps his electric violin hanging on the wall.
The violin just has such a unique sound, it also conveys such a broad range of colour & emotion and I wish I could play it!!
You should go around your neighborhood playing the "ice cream truck song" on violin in tour car and give kids the ice cream thry want for free.
You got a heart... I sense an epic video coming
Amazing Idea!!!
I hope Rob does this because that would be so awesome
yes he should do this
"It's fine, you've only played for 3 years"
Violinists: life is pain
I was shocked when I heard that 😂 so when a violinist play for three years they are still considered beginners??😱
@@Lol98-wk18 I'm no expert but I think it takes a lot of time to pick up the mechanics of playing the violin.
"I practice like 40 hours a day"
2 set fans agree
Yeahhh
LING LING 40 HOURS
YES THE LINGLING WANNABES ARE EVERYWHERE
I can't even play violin but I feel that struggle 😅
Teachers in my university thinking students have enough time to invest at least 400 hours in a month for self teaching 🙂👍
LINGLING HERE TOO? WOOW,WE ARE EVERYWHERE HAHAHAH
2:20 I picked up that some time ago, appears to be moving minimally, like when I was hooked on watching Victor Borge for a while

The tonal range, versatility and portability of the violin are truly functional. It would be a beautiful addition to a home for those who love to perform individually or as accompaniment. Personally, I love it’s place throughout history and the creative artistry by a gifted luthier.
