The guy with the sun glasses is a hustler. He had a line for everything. He is a contractor I would never hire.
Arrogant too and prob stole those from his boss lol
He's definitely shady, no pun intended.
It's Brand new, only used it once!
One of the worst personality types
Shady dem typical
I can tell Honey loves you, animals are a great judge of character. I'm bingeing your videos.😊
"Brand new I used it only 1 time" gotta love those guys...
Sounds like your mom, “ I was a virgin when I met your daddy” after she worked in a trap house for years
anyone trying to sell stuff in a pawnshop that doesn't take off their sunglasses inside are immediately going to by Meth as soon as you hand them the CASH
I was thinking the same exact thing.
Wow....... That is quite a stretch of very limited data 😂.
This doesn’t make much sense. I’ve never done meth and never will but when you’re as cool as me the sun always shines on you so I have to wear sunglasses all the time
@@chicagowsox212 The palm trees grow and the rents are low and
the feeling is laid back.
That Honey is soooo adorable.
Yes, she is so beautiful, love that honey
I used to work at a pawnshop, and I cannot tell you how many "brand new, I only used it a couple times." Items I have rejected.
You were very gracious to the older gentleman. You’re the type of person people want to do business with. Lots of love from New Hampshire.
We love pete
From Scotland uk ❤❤❤❤
And from Australia! 🇦🇺
Peter has so much more decency n respect for his customers than a lot of the pawn shops here.
You rock Pete. 😁🙏💙🦘
That guy with tools was geeking like crazy... tried to hide it but man!
TWEEKVILLE-CITY!!!
Man, trying to grab a power tool when he’s about to test it.
100 percent
@@threeminuteshate There was no disc on it, just the locking nut.
You guys are really bad judges of people on drugs. Guy was definitely not tweeking or on drugs
You brushing Honey at the end made me smile. 🙂 She was purring away and so happy that she flipped over on her back. 🥰
In a 410 buckshot shotgun shell there are 3 pellets. That's what I think it was.
Hi Pete, you are always so nice and patient! I’m thinking about all the Ukrainians right now too! Poland is being so good about the refugees from Ukraine! My grandmother was born in Poland and lived into her 90’s, she came here when she was in her teens by herself. I’m sure you know many similar stories! Thanks for your continued UA-cam videos they are great! By the way Vicki is my favorite employee of yours, she is awesome about researching the items and I am so impressed by her!And of course I especially love Honey and Ruby! Cheers, Pat
My family in Lubaczòw, Poland has taken in dozens of Ukrainians to shelter them on their farm ❤️❤️
you plugged in the batteries and said to see if they were taking a charge , just because the charging light is on dosnt mean the battery is good , it might not be holding the charge which is normal for well used powertool batteries , your better off not paying for rechargeable batteries cause someone will buy the tool and bring it back saying battery is no use
The cat purring was my favorite part of the video... too cute
I love your channel man! "It's brand new" is a classic line.
Honey is a Honey! I just love that cat. Greetings from South Africa.
A company called Replacements buys old dishware & silverware. It's also a perfect place to find missing pieces for your dinnerware & china.
"It's brand new,but I only used it once!"
😂😂😂😂
I could never do this for a living. I get tired of bull$hit, and bull$hitters. I don't have the patience for it. I admire Peter's ability to deal with it all in stride.
You can't bull$hit a bull$hitter 😉
@@gatzzinnyaaareaa You can't bullshit someone you've bullshitted and they figured it out (classic story of the little boy who cried wolf). They gave him a second chance, but that was it...
@@fredflintstone8048 nahh dude that's bullshit

I love your profession, and I strive to have my own store one day! Thank you for the entertainment, as well as the information and insights.
Great video Pete ,
Awesome video love watching your videos very entertaining
It's possible a craftsman who did woodwork remade or repaired it way back, this country use to have people who were artis on doing everything
I have a good friend who fled Kyiv to Poland. Good Polish people taking them in.
LOT of scammers and shady people in Ukraine
Poland pulled a "Turkey" by taking in the upper strata and the young women to boost their economy. Makes sense because less than a century so the Ukrainians were slaughtering Poles and Jews to resettle their own.
Never seen a cabinet like this before, it's pretty cool indeed
You must have really good patience to deal with some of these people. I would've thrown the Milwaukee at the guy and scolded him for not charging the batteries before bringing it in. It amazes me how some people can't even do simple tasks.
And you wouldn't last in business very long with that shitty of an attitude
That's why you're not in his place
It’s like just common knowledge, clean your stuff up make it as nice condition as possible then try and upsell the points.... these people walking in with jimmy rigged chargers lol that dude was looking like he needed some blow... he was like $175 that’s an 8 ball good enough 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah thats what thieves definitely doo ay...
Love your vids, Pete 👍🏻
7:38 "brand new. I used it only one time"
Pete: "then it's not brand new"
Pete's a beast. He ain't playing that dumb shit
I would absolutely love to buy that Humphries apothecary cabinet!! I'm sure though that the selling price will be out of my ballpark however!! 😭
Awesome show
Silver nickels were only made during WW2 1942-1945. They have a different look, the mint mark (large) was above the dome on the reverse.
That apothecary are the beginning has some history, very cool.
I love how Peter low key fucks with the ones that are whack. He goes "the little ones don't really have much power, you get a few bigger rocks, you know!" 😂😂😂
"It's brand new I only used it one time" classic sales pitch lol
Cheers! Love your channel. My girlfriend is from Poland. Great food!!!
What's interesting is Humphreys homeopathic remedies is still in business as of today so it would be interesting and cool to find out where they would have sold those and when, like what drug stores they were available in etc...
Very interesting! While Pete was showing that I imagined that the cabinet probably sat on the counter. Customer could read the bullet side and tell the clerk which number they wanted and the door side was so the clerk could use to restock the drawers. Then when the holey-excitement went down the customer side took the hits and the clerk hid behind the little cabinet.
Cool video. Thumbs up
sun glasses dead give away every time 😎 🐱love the Cat !!!
Definitely a great interesting piece of an *Apothecary Pharmacy Cabinet/Display.*
Buffalo Nickels are NOT 90% Silver.
@Tommy Ealey you can make buffalo-silver burgers out of ‘em!
They are if your a sucker, u need any silver Buffalo nickles?
Those bullet holes are very close together, almost like target shooting, definitely not 22Lr they look to be 9mm holes or possibly a rifle caliber. Since there is rust pitting on the reverse side, it's possible that sign was outside as a stand alone piece and then latter applied to the back side of that cabinet.
Air gun pellet holes.
We love all ur videos peter
Love from Scotland uk
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍
I wish the old couple had something, looks like they really needed the money
Yeah that was a bummer
The Humphrey cabinet is so cool and clearly has a story. What a cool item.
I love how everyone in the comment section is a ballistic expert.
They always say its new 😂😂😂 I can imagine how happy that older gentleman would have been if that spoon turned out to be gold 😄 Enjoyed the video
The dude with the record player in the blue shirt was the kind of guy you enjoy dealing with. He could have argued about the coins and that player forever but didn't. Cheers blue shirt guy lol.
Pretty Kitty, mine will not let me brush him, he attacks the brush! LOL
You can very gently apply mineral oil or wax to back panel to clean it up and reduce the damage.
Hello Pete, with that cabinate and the bullet holes, have you thought of having it valued at an antique dealer then once you get a rough idea, have in in an auction house ? If you knew the history it would add to the value. Good find though.
It went from ya i got it at home to if i find it i will bring it 👀 I personally would not buy a tool without all pieces with it.
Pete, the Milwauke nailer needs the red cushion tip to fire properly. Can get them aftermarket online.
Love the apothecary cabinet!
Wow. Talk about taking it back. We use to give my niece Humphrey's tablets for teething, but it's very hard to find anymore. You basically have to find a Mom and Pop old timey pharmacist. Very cool.
I miss her ❤❤❤
Polish? I always thought you were Spanish, Pete! (Love Ruby and Honey! I tune-in half for them!)
😂 I love how he tested the nail gun!!!
It boggles my mind how people come in to sell stuff and act like they are clueless. EVERYONE can access the internet nowadays and it is human nature to look up the value of stuff so that you have an idea of what something is worth. These people who act stupid are comical.
You got one hell of a deal on that Milwaukee nail gun!!!
I could hear her purring :)
Guarantee that guy didn’t bring those parts in. “Oh I forgot”
Mr, You know what I mean. 😊😊
I like your channel
That old pharmacy cabinet thing actually looks like it had the one nicer side replaced along with many of the drawers etc. But it was done so recently after the actual bullet holes were shot into that it looks more aged along with the rest of cabinet. So still an older piece all around but still technically not "all" original.
I think he was right tho the one side faced outside hence prob why the bullets entered that side and why it looks worn out and why the inside even looks new like the other menu
The shady guy wearing shades indoors, I'd have told him to come back with the parts he stripped from the tools.
“Ey I gotta make money, you know how this shit works!” 😂😂 let them know Peter!
Reaches for the tool as you’re about to turn it on….”I deal with tools all the time”. Ha! Wow so great
WOW. A MXL 990... That was the first microphone I used to record my first album... Dang... That is cool
trying to pawn spoons and forks lol
The coin album thing seems pretty cool... the medicine cabinet wish it can tell us its stories... its def a pretty cool piece
I see that in my dad's garage of collectables and myself in there shooting it with a sling shot in 1989 having know idea of it's value to be! :D That's my best guess!
Hey Pete it could have been a Ricochet off of something else that ricocheted and hit that cabinet
That Dewalt grinder is also missing the guard, and he said he wanted you to be safe.
Honey wants #14! What’s in that drawer?
My first thought about that medicine cabinet went right to a driveby mob hit. LOL When I saw Honey licking the caabinet it reminded me of one I my cats who we lost a couple of years ago, she used to do the same thing.
Could be a drive-by hit.
Somebody bought the diarrhea cure and it had the opposite effect.
That Humphreys piece is beyond 😎
Ballistics get weird after contact with materials.. very cool case.
Have to love it when people refer to the things they are trying to get top dollar for as crap.
Hi Pete, nice cabinet and I am looking forward to seeing what it goes for. I know you don't know the provenance, worth delving a little longer, so much easier what with internet etc. I had a couple of Chinese medicine chests very similar i.e. little drawers on either side of a square box. Beautiful wood and brass handles. Those pieces went to ladies for jewellery etc. Fetched good prices. Good luck and greetings from Ireland
Hey Pete if you want to know what that's worth Mayo's auction last year had a big Museum that they sold the contents in one of those was in the museum you may want to check out Mayo's past auctions of the Shawnee Medical Museum
Yea the lead in bullets spread out pretty fat. I have Mötley Crüe book, while drinking I thought it would look way METAL with .22's through it!
It locked in tight holes in the cover (hardcover) like 1/3 or half way through.... they spread out and just ripped up pages. It didnt have the power to go all the way like I'd thought. The holes would be defined on entry....
They spread out and probably damaged the bins but they were replaced most likely.
I don’t think those are bullet holes they are not perfectly circular in shape. Possibly hammer strikes or some other tool that someone stabbed into the front. This would explain the lack of any significant damage to the inside. Even a .22 cal billet would have gone totally through both sides and the wood shelves.
I could be .22 short and shot from a distance through a window. The metal would use a lot of the energy from a .22 short, and that was a very common caliber back in the old days.
@@ThomasGabrielsen the amount of force required to puncture through the tin would have easily punctured the wood and caused more significant damage, if it was from a distance the guy was a pretty amazing as that grouping is tight!
I think Honey could have her own channel, she is the only cat I like. Ruby is also wonderful . It is funny to watch the two of them when they are trying to best each other. As a senior I would like to commend you for your patience with the senior at the end of the video. Be well and stay safe Peter and the same to all of your staff.👍👍🇨🇦
U haven't turned into Lex and Cinnabon then but I love honey also.
You have patience like a fisherman
This is a little random and super late but I’ve been buying plated silver and gold antiques for years now just hoarding it! This is a wild estimate but on average from high quality silver plate like “quadruple” and “viking” can be nearly 10-15% the total weight in pure silver! large loads are worth picking up for a few pennies!
Its brand new.... I never used it.... got it as a gift...its real....was my fathers....
The drawers could have slid out as the rounds hit them, preventing them from being more damaged
Peter gives great deals. I'm in chillicothe,Ohio and shops around here would've given mabey 40 50 bucks for that stuff
The bullet holes ? Simple: it stood on an attic for years. The nephews which stayed in the summer dit shoot at it secretly with the air rifle from their uncle.
sounds oddly specific
"I sh-t it yesterday."
More like, "I stole it yesterday."
Dudes been stealing spoons from all the fancy places hes been. . Lol
That case looks put together to me, which is why there's not consistent damage
Naw
That cabinet is a Repop, 70s, early 80s.
"I deal with tools all the time" = I steal tools all the time.
Love Ur videos Pete
Were from Scotland UK 🏴🇬🇧
Can u make more buying selling videos please
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🏴🏴🏴🏴💯💯💯💯💯🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧😁😁😁
I only used it once...for six months!
Oh you are polish, my grandmother is from Alstina and my wifes father was a pilot in the second world war you know lotnik
CSI Chicago stuff right there! hehehehe
I feel a little sorry that the 2 old people did not have any spoons and so on with some value...But on the other hand maybe they are loaded?
The bullet hole piece was shot at some time before it was put on medicine box. Standard caliber in late 1800s would be 44/45 and would have went through that whole box. No way the box was shot unless they replaced the shelves and the good side of the box.
Brand new! (Used once) 🤣
😂
