Who are these people?
My OCs! The main one is named Sol. The other two are Dominik and Santiago! I've been working on the story they're in since middle school, so it's a huge passion project of mine!
What are their pronouns and/or gender?
Sol - he/they, transmasc/AFAB agender
Dominik - she/her, cis woman
Santiago - any pronouns, AMAB nonbinary
What's the story?
A global nuclear war occurred. It didn't end the world, in fact, society continued as normal. A drug developed to treat radiation poisoning, as well as prevent cancer from radiation, has a human trial that goes wrong. The drug ended up turning people into stronger versions of themselves, or in most cases, mutant shells of their former selves. This drug was labeled MUTAGEN-CX1. Different strains of the drugs are illegally distributed around the world based on their effects.
Sol, a direct survivor of a nuclear blast, tries to continue life normally after being transferred to a safer location. He and his college friend, Dominik, encounter a strange enigma named Santiago. He tries to convince them to buy from him due to the strains potential regeneration effects, but the two decline. Santiago then trips Sol, which causes him to drop the syringe on himself, and the chemicals absorb into his cuts.
Now Sol is a cool mutant fella! He becomes a very chaotic neutral, anarchist type.
There's so much more to the story and so many characters, I'd love to create more content with them.

I know this seems dumb but thank you so much for not making the radiation the exact cause for what causes the mutations/changes. I’m just a random nerd but when people make radiation, things that have caused thousands of direct deaths and unknown amounts of cancer related deaths into a plot gimmick, it feels kinda insensitive. This way is much more tasteful and well done, also highlighting how fucked up the medical industry can be 👍

Oh I missed your original characters!!! Sol's friend looks very familiar too, and I remember Santiago from the "la rata, not el rata" animation.
