How is this set up so I can practice at home?
In order to promote parries the assist select should be a parry modifier. The three options could be a small bit of red health back, meter gain, and the last one meter drain. Just a thought.
What does X-factor do in this mod? Just providing a super cancel?

Whenever Hulk X’s and says “LEAVE HULK ALONE!” I feel bad for him. Then he just ignores everything with armor and I don’t feel bad.

How do you guys do combos in this game, is it same button or combinations, which is for every character the same?
It's different for every character and you have to do inputs for special moves like in Street Fighter (hadouken is down->forward->punch)

@@glentaker it takes practice but it's one of the most fun games ever in my opinion lol
Fighting games normal combo goes like this: light -> medium -> heavy -> super finish. MVC has this 4th button called special which acts as a launcher if you're on the ground or dunk them down if you're in the air. So everyone in MVC will be able to this basic combo: light -> medium -> heavy -> special -> air light -> air medium -> air heavy -> air special -> super finish. Every characters also have special moves that requires weird direction + attack button (different from single press special button above) and every characters can sneak these special moves in between or at the end of the combo. Or just do it raw, all of them are different.

It's a mod, like the type that lets you play 3 of the same character.
BTW there is no such thing as a new content update to a 10 years old game. Well there is, but Capcom isn't that type of developer.

Heroes and heralds actually changes the properties of a lot of moves for no reason, this is better because it doesn't turn a lot of moves into unusable garbage lol

@@illford6921 I’m sure that’s the basis for the mod. But the other system changes like the cancels and parries make it like its own game, it’s awesome.

There's a mod that allows u to pick 1, 2, or 3 characters on a team (Skullgirls style). Then there's another mod that allows all characters to get an air dash I believe. Both are on Nexus mods I'm sure

How does X-Factor work here?
It just function as a cancel from anything, x-factor doesn't exist in this mode

I might be going out on a limb here but these 1v1s literally shows real skill than having a team...now players can't hide
The whole point is having a team though. Half your skill is determined by how good you are at using a whole team

this is why i hate the vs games, all respect if you play a game at this speed, but all the players do is spam their combo staters untill they land. haft the time i don't even know why they are throwing attacks out at random. the fact that a ryu isn't spamming fireball at max range just shows you advance the game is

@@illford6921 no, you don't throw out combo starters in neutral praying they jump into it, it's like if you can get a sweep but dash in for a medium punch to combo. non vs everything you do has a reason when in vs you're just clearing the air

The neutral game is rlly different because the game is about positioning/ movement.
You'll see a lot of combo starters for sure but its not as random as u think it is.
