Honestly I kind of feel like it wasn't smart on the instructor's end to encourage Duncan to snowboard after the rain. He's an instructor there, he shouldve known about those risks and at least inform Duncan about them. Sad story all around.

I totally agree... had the same thought knowing it was his 1st time I as an instructor would never have actively encouraged a beginner to go out alone after just a couple of hours of lessons and especially not after a storm! The instructor should have been more aware and Duncan who was also very athletic became overconfident and began going faster and faster but because he wasn't aware of the dangers didn't think much about it and unfortunately he got hurt but with no one around to help him he was stuck and whats more sad is he could have lived but then the worker happened and after he was mutilated he was still alive he might have been saved if the worker hadn't of so heartlessly killed him so to me this man didn't just die he was murdered twice 1st by the instructor and then by the worker who finished the job.

@@alanekucher7369 the only flaw with this comment is that you said he was murdered twice but you contradict yourself whenever you say that he could have survived the injury after he got hurt the only person who murderer anyone was the snowcat driver the instructor just made a mistake it happens we are human in the end he just got duncan hurt at the most nothing a few beers or a blunt couldn't of fixed the snowcat driver also made a mistake but he had a choice and picked the wrong decision he also only hurt someone initially & could have easily help him but instead decided his life was more important instead of seeing Duncan as an equal human and acting like a man and taking responsibility for his mistake he killed him but you know he is suffering in his own head until he is caught or if he's not basically the rest of his life in his own head trying to keep a secret that he offed a guy if he isn't already dead himself but R.I.P. duncan sad stuff

a 14 year time skip and they still searched, and then they found him looking exactly the same, like a messed up time capsule.
and yeah the employee deserves jail for unalivement. statue of limitations shouldn't run out for something like that. they gotta have a list of every single employee that worked there at that time to figure out who did it.
