TheEliminator its too late kid, you've already exposed yourself as an ignorant little kid that doesn't know anything about technicality or accompaniment.
Ozzfest '99 was the first time I saw Buckethead.I first though "who is this guy who thinks he can stand in the stage with Primus?" Then he played. Dear sweet Jesus he played. I went and ordered his first cd that weekend
3:01 I started to collect tears in my eyes but they didn't fall, I swallowed the tears, Buckethead's solo is so impressive, that this solo made me almost cry with emotion, And I was serious, I wasn't smiling, I was admiring this surreal solo. - 1:31am - 10 may 2021
Why does Buckethead always have to be so disgustingly good? His playing and tapping are almost addicting to watch, and literally, my heart rate goes up seeing him play as fast as he does. Fucking nuts.
I always mention Buckethead for a top guitarist conversation and people just fucking laugh at me. The skills are obviously there and the stage presence is second to none.
It's amazing the way they represented Buckethead. He came out of nowhere and the image is awesome. I notice through the years, he is really getting more and more into his image. Makes a puppet do his talking...etc...... I remember KISS used to always cover their faces..etc.....I guess Buckethead is covering his voice to talk. LOL It's a 70's tradition with Rock Stars. It's what sells. I loved when threw out toys on stage at BB Kings, in New York. It's freaking unique, man.
why the fuck isn't bucket head in primus? his playing style is similar to Les and ler, the dude would fit right in and probably make primus 1000 times better. (no disrespect to primus, there real good
i disagree. buckethead has his own image goin for him. and primus is fuckin primus. thats kinda like saying metallica would be better if claypool was the bassist when he had an audition. it would of been totally different just like if buckethead was in primus. maybe primus wouldnt be the primus we know today. but i have massive respect for larry, i think he is one of the most underrated guitarist. i think hes better then buckethead and fits primus better,he didnt need an image to get where he is.
+Lim Jahey I also like ler more than bucket head but they're both amazing i think 2 guitars would be a cluster fuck in primus but it'd be cool to see what they could do
Man Primus took place in major events for the decade they were together. WoodStock 94', Ozzfest 99' There is not too many bands today that can say they done what they done.
@MysteryDjMan0 In the beginning, the song's name is Those Damn Blue Collared Tweakers, and when Les starts his speech, the song is Ballad of Buckethead.
those two should not be allowed in the same vicinity. it's just an overload of mind-blowing awesomeness. if i had been there i probably would have spontaneously combusted from the excitement of witnessing these musical geniuses in action. anyone ever see him play the whamola in concert?
@Nevermind991 You know, when I started playing guitar, i thought about learning my scales first to see if it could get me somewhere . but since i didn't bother to, i play random notes at times and end up recording some really good stuff that fall under multiple scales
Buckethead is God of musiс. He plays not phrases, he plays patterns. Of course his hands is wrong, not like a real guitarists hands, but he playing musiс at any price - he want it BEAUTIFULL sounding, melody. Buckethead is real musicman. I love him.
I wish buckethead did more with the slide than what he does, he just makes noise honestly, listen to BB w/ the slide and its just sooo much more elegant. I will say Bucket definitely kicks ass on some of the most amazing Rifs I've ever heard for a solo guitar, best rif of all time tho goes to Raining Blood - Jeff n Kerry were just to Much R.I.P the immortal and god slaying Jeff Hanneman 1964 - 2013
He was born in a coop, raised in a cage, children fear him, critics rage... He's half alive, he's half dead. Folks just call him Buckethead!
These two men can both play their instruments in a way that should not be possible by a human.
Agreed.... except Primus' guitarist who plays that gold PRS. He's not very good.
TheEliminator ... I bet you don't even understand half of the things he does on that prs.
TheEliminator its too late kid, you've already exposed yourself as an ignorant little kid that doesn't know anything about technicality or accompaniment.
+TheEliminator say you mister nobody
+NotAnUndercoverCop Naah it's completely possible. It just takes focus, discipline and patience.
I've been coming back to watch this for over a decade
Same
YES
Hahahaha same
Same man
Same
Ozzfest '99 was the first time I saw Buckethead.I first though "who is this guy who thinks he can stand in the stage with Primus?"
Then he played. Dear sweet Jesus he played.

I wish there was a full HQ version of this out there....this is the one of my all time fav clips.
Ballad of Buckethead ya welcome 😘
@@kidcannabis6247 THANKS!
I wouldn't want an ultra HD version. The grit gives away it's age. And authenticity, the way it should
it is not edited in the same way, but it is the same moment!!
ua-cam.com/video/_8p3zsOMcP4/v-deo.html
This vid never sets old. So powerful and so unpredictable, considering Primus' studio collection of music. Glad this was captured on film.
I love how Les stomps around stage while he plays, simply awesome.
I saw him in concert in June. He did that while play this song lol
that drummer is killing it
His name is Brain, he was the drummer for GnR, Praxis, and Buckethead
If you like him you should see Tim Alexander play
Thats a pretty sick intro for bucket head. Primus with the build up / hype too. Sweet stuff.
3:01 I started to collect tears in my eyes but they didn't fall, I swallowed the tears, Buckethead's solo is so impressive, that this solo made me almost cry with emotion, And I was serious, I wasn't smiling, I was admiring this surreal solo. - 1:31am - 10 may 2021
Even as a hip hop head I can see right here is one hell of a concert , damn I was born long after my time
Guy backstage: Hey Les, why the helmet?
Les: You ever seen Brain play drums?
good one!
Buckethead's twins brother, Bucketdome the Falconer. :-)

The song is those Damn Blue Collar Tweekers!! This version is CRAZY good, better than album version ;)
I like when artists upgrade their old songs. watch?v=qdlQyNe_9tE
Without a doubt
I was at this show. Primus lit it up from the jump catching all the people who came for other bands off guard. It was amazing.
Why does Buckethead always have to be so disgustingly good? His playing and tapping are almost addicting to watch, and literally, my heart rate goes up seeing him play as fast as he does. Fucking nuts.
0:03 I love the way Les's helmeted head slowly pops up 😭
Please don't forget Brian Malaya...top 10 drummer...most pure talent ever on stage...
*mantia
I completely agree
Malaya kla
been coming back to watch this for 13 years now
I always mention Buckethead for a top guitarist conversation and people just fucking laugh at me. The skills are obviously there and the stage presence is second to none.
I was there at Ozzfest 99 in Hartford CT. This was the coolest lineup that ozzfest had. Very different that year. Primus killed it.
I feel like I've worn the pixels out of this by coming back and watching it so many times.
Woo Hoo! Buckethead playing with one of my favorite bands!
This was the first time I saw Primus live. Helluva festival
Where was this at?
I would love to have these guys playing live at my place and that drum set in my garage sooooo bad. this is frickin' awesome!
Is this the best video on UA-cam?
Yes, according to god.
Yes.
ive always loved how you dont know the size of the audience , but only thru his glasses and you know its big and then it pans out. epic
The transition at 1:00 will live in my soul forever. They really went for it. Dang.
It's a good thing we have bapyou to tell us what's great and what's not great. Thank you mighty bapyou.
Best intro for bucket head ever
Im still here!
I'm seeing primus next month
Ahhhh I'm so excited
It's amazing the way they represented Buckethead. He came out of nowhere and the image is awesome. I notice through the years, he is really getting more and more into his image. primus, easily one of the best live bands ever!
- has anyone ever figured out who buckethead was?
if thats how this guy feels then he truly doesnt appreciated whats going on in this video and cant call him a fan of either group.
Honest to god i love these two playing together!!!! Their worlds collide and make some GREAT GREAT STUFF!!!
why the fuck isn't bucket head in primus? his playing style is similar to Les and ler, the dude would fit right in and probably make primus 1000 times better. (no disrespect to primus, there real good
+Green Man i agree he'd fit perfectly id love to see .ler and bucket work together
+yeahman that album would definitely be my favorite
That'd be like Monsters and Robots or their band Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains
i disagree. buckethead has his own image goin for him. and primus is fuckin primus. thats kinda like saying metallica would be better if claypool was the bassist when he had an audition. it would of been totally different just like if buckethead was in primus. maybe primus wouldnt be the primus we know today. but i have massive respect for larry, i think he is one of the most underrated guitarist. i think hes better then buckethead and fits primus better,he didnt need an image to get where he is.

Ooh, I would've loved to have been there! Buckethead is so great!
martianrum When you think Malcolm, you should think "X" not "in the Middle".
i love when he starts singing ballad of buckethead
this video combines my two favourite things, Buckethead and Primus! thumbs up
When i listen to Primus, i can't even listen to any other band for a while! They really get down, next time they have a concert around here im going.
i love their bombastic style of making music..
brilliant musicians in a band make those kinda things :)
Best stage presence ever, in addition to crazy skills by everyone there.
God damm!!!!! The show is incredible!!!!! They are real rockers!!!!
Finally somebody who just looks at the facts without any drama involved.
Thanks a lot dude.
damn we had so much good music during the 90's...where the hell has it all gone?
Man Primus took place in major events for the decade they were together. WoodStock 94', Ozzfest 99' There is not too many bands today that can say they done what they done.
I swear this video gets smaller every time I come back to watch it.
by far the best sounding blue collar tweekers performance, wish this was on cd
My god the energy is unearthly
@MysteryDjMan0 In the beginning, the song's name is Those Damn Blue Collared Tweakers, and when Les starts his speech, the song is Ballad of Buckethead.
I'm totally digging Les' farmer's tan. He's my idol. I'll be having one like that as soon as baseball starts.
1:30 that whammy bar bass part, wow that's so epic, sounds so evil, love it, best bass part ever!!!
I was there. I was 14. They don't make festival line-ups like this anymore! Mind blowing show!
saw these guys at DTE in '99 for Oz Fest Great Show!!!
love
saw em this year at vibes, nuuutttsss. wish i coulda made it to ozzfest
Best intro to a guest musician EVER!
That's primus' fan's way to say they rock. Because they seriously do, they guys are trully kicking ass. This stage was on awesome overload !
Thank you for the upload.
This was a badass Ozzfest!!!
I was on the side of the stage during this performance...no ticket, no passes, me and two buddies armed with my id and a Ratt CD. lol amazing day....
I was in this concert, ozzfest 99 rocked
Yes, it was.
Only from Les. He's a God.
And Buckethead, too! Two masters at what they do, on one stage. Incredible.
after years of watching this i just realized bucketheads neck pickup is missing the bottom coil
Graves and kcf nunchucks toppled with mic sliding Les! All we need now is hotdogs and freakin lazers!!!!!!
those two should not be allowed in the same vicinity. it's just an overload of mind-blowing awesomeness. if i had been there i probably would have spontaneously combusted from the excitement of witnessing these musical geniuses in action. anyone ever see him play the whamola in concert?
they tore that stage up. great upload
im quivering wit luv from les clapool...gawd he's the man!
jesus christ man your comments on buckethead videos make me laugh so freaking hard
BONGO SHREDDING ON HIS BUCKET that's awesome dude
I was never a big fan of Primus, but DAMN that bassist, gotta love his skills
holy shit i love both of these guys especially bucket head
I was there. I was twelve, but I was there. Best. Show. Ever.
god damn! i cant get enough of the first minute and 45 seconds!
@Nevermind991
You know, when I started playing guitar, i thought about learning my scales first to see if it could get me somewhere . but since i didn't bother to, i play random notes at times and end up recording some really good stuff that fall under multiple scales
Fucking awesome performance by the 2 most amazing bands.
Love the Claypool intro for Buckethead!!! Good stuff!
Les, Serg, Zombie, and bucket head definitely had an epic smoke sesh after this show
les... UNBELIEVABLY UNDERRATED GUITARIST!!!!!!!!!!!
@DeeJayEddy94 zaista je! nemogu vjerovat kako dobro svira , stvarno je zajeban!
just badass and love the whammy bar on the bass
i was there, standing just off stage left. Slipknot, Fear Factory, Primus, Slayer, Pantera, Ozzy = an ok day. lol \m/
I was 13 at this show it was fucking nuts
I would do ANYTHING to get Les' voice xD It's so awesome !
i Agree! Buckethead is the GuitarMaster!
omg. Les is hilarious man. Amazing performance
The intro of buckethead is just insane.
In his concert ticket collection video
He was at this concert, Ozzyfest 99.
Buckethead is God of musiс. He plays not phrases, he plays patterns. Of course his hands is wrong, not like a real guitarists hands, but he playing musiс at any price - he want it BEAUTIFULL sounding, melody. Buckethead is real musicman. I love him.
@wowhorde12 the song is "those damned blue collar tweakers" played together with "the ballad of buckethead"
i love how buckethead is just jumping around the cemetery haha
I watch this at least once a day :)
Thanks alot man!
This show was great!
I wish buckethead did more with the slide than what he does, he just makes noise honestly, listen to BB w/ the slide and its just sooo much more elegant.
