But 2) when the player with the ball goes into the tackler shoulder first - it's legal??? (The answer is that such consistency would pretty much end rugby as we know it.)
It's typically not as dangerous. The onus is on the tackler to get in the correct position to protect himself and his opponent. Avoiding head contact. Also, I know what you're referring to -- the incident in the 48th minute -- but you've not articulated your question well. Going 'shoulder first' is fundamental to staying safe whether you're a tackler or ball carrier, it's what you're taught as a kid. The ref, who has discretion here, I think explained his decision well. Also, why are you shouting, just ask the question
@@gonzalohiguain2589 It's "typically not as dangerous"? Really? The player shoulder-charging with the ball is actually protected from the worst of the impact. The tackler goes in with only his own body as protection. Much of the impact on the ball-carrier is absorbed by the ball itself.
AB’s are very disappointing. For years the Pumas had never beaten the AB’s. Now their kicking our ass seems like 3/4 times. Nevertheless will always support the AB’s 🖤🤍

When you think of all the All Blacks out there, legendary figures who can give insight and know what they're talking about, we have to listen to some "Shiela". It's embarrassing because it's just tokenism....and please don't tell me she's a rugby player because the mens game is a totally different game.
What really pisses me off with this new kind of rugby is how when ever the all blacks get a penalty they get given an extra couple of metres by the useless ref and I've only watched the first 15 minutes so far.. Rugby is going WOKE and just now it will only be "girls" rugby. Bring back the original RUGGER as we played it in the 60's 70's and 80's. where have all the men gone
Someone tell me that had the Argentines head hit the all black head whose fault is it. I mean the guy was attacking the defender with his head. Sorry but I think that was rediculous . Surely the attacker has some responsibility for his own head and what he’s doing with it? It’s different when the defender is responsible for putting his shoulder into the attackers head but that really wasn’t the case here. I think the ref was not happy about the decision the TMO steered him to making.
The ABs comprehensively beat the Pumas the following week. Don’t forget how the Pumas beat the Boks, Gerhard, but they got their revenge the following week. Test rugby is far more competitive these days!
