I was skeptical about staging my home until I watched this video. The step-by-step room-by-room guide is informative and has given me the confidence to tackle the process. It's like having a professional home stager as your personal mentor. Highly recommended.
Seems like houses are selling over night without professional staging. Just clean, declutter, and use what you have. Not enough homes out there. Sold mine in the first weekend. Buyers waived all repairs . But my landscape and kitchen was done a few years back so that helped too.
Veronica - Thanks for watching and sharing. That’s amazing- congratulations. Yes, homes are selling quickly even without staging. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.
Thanks @Donna-vh5ym for watching! Well, I would keep things simple. Declutter, depersonalize and clear surfaces, except for a select few items. Make it warm and inviting. What do you think?
@@YourPowaySanDiegoRealtor// that sounds wonderful. If you were staging my home for sale. When you walk in you see the back of my sofa. No wall to put a sofa near. Would you put a sofa table in front?
Hi Donna, sorry I missed this! It really depends on the space. If there is enough space in the room (and wouldn’t make the area crowded), then yes, I would add a table to the back of the sofa. Is there space?
@@YourPowaySanDiegoRealtor I do staging for a realtor and the realtor always pays. Just kind of curious on if you have clients pay or if the realtor usually does.
@@YourPowaySanDiegoRealtor Not really -- "keeping up" is just easier now because I am retired and I keep things simple. I went through and tossed out all the "clutter" and outdated stuff, kind of like what people do when they move. I only have "all my favorite things." Also I don't decorate to impress. I love watching these staging videos and I am always viewing homes on Zillow. Sometimes "something will catch my eye" and I venture into a "new look" which keeps the rooms more inviting. Just changing a small thing like pillows does it. For me, waking up or coming home to an organized place just makes life easier.
Just noticed your reply! That’s amazing you can keep it so organized. What you’ve done really is the key, decluttering to the point that you don’t have so much stuff to actually tidy up. And you’re so right, an organized home does make life so much easier. How often do you tidy up?

What about a small home where you walk in and boom you're in the living room?

Love your videos, but I would like to also see smaller, average homes, not just big fancy houses.
Thanks so much for your nice comment! Gotcha. Will put small homes on my list. Are there any other kind of videos you would like to see?
That's why I stopped watching the video. I just couldn't relate to the houses depicted in the video 😢
Some really great tips here😃

Does a stager get paid by the realtor or the homeowner
@@kaymyers4604 thanks for watching. It varies. Sometimes the homeowner pays. Sometimes the realtor. Are you thinking about staging your home?

Paint the cabinets? I’ll just stay if I do that.
@@DRTH411 that’s an option. A light touch up / remodel usually attracts more buyers, and can increase your home price.
My house pretty much looks staged all the time.
Thank you for watching! That’s amazing! Do you spend much time keeping it in tip-top shape?
