People forget how devastating this man was. As a BULLS fan it hurt my soul when he got hurt because he was never the same. It took Miami to put a 6’9 freak in LBJ to stop him because he was destroying charmers and Wade. I still love and root for him. People have forgotten he was what is Russ is now but more controlled. His jumper was about to come and he was just starting to learn the game. Him, Jo, Lou and the crew should’ve had at least 1 ring. DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!! We love you Pooh‼️✊🏿💪🏿

LBJ was guarding him at the end of games but they still were trapping him as soon as he passed half court. The problem with that team was there was no other ball handler on the floor to take pressure off Rose. If that team still had Ben Gordon they would have been Champs.

@@flymine1 From someone who has seen both players play in person, while both players are fast and athletic, D.Rose is the more powerful and physically imposing guard, Russ is slightly quicker and more explosive vertically. Also, Rose is more aware of the spots he can take off on the court and what move he'll make before he does it, had more control, whereas Russ would just jump anywhere on the court and improvise on the fly. Ive seen greats like kobe and kd play, Russ' athleticism is just bananas, especially for his height. He plays with such disregard for gravity.

When he put up 50 vs. The jazz it made me teary eyed when I saw it then and watching it again in this video it made me just as emotional. I love it, D Rose is one of those athletes that I will point out to my son when trying to make the you can do anything you put your mind to point!!! I wish the folks that made this documentary would have showed all the games before and after his 50 point game where he put up atleast 30 ppg. He put up atleast 30 ppg for like a week strait

king quad s also, you see players like Kyrie dropping to the floor after every layup just to distribute the shock off his knees and joints but D Rose 🌹 would try and stick the landing but ended up deteriorating more and more until they couldn’t take it anymore... If only he was taught how to land properly, he would probably be the best PG ever to live. Just because of this mistake, he’s probably going to be the ONLY MVP to not go to HoF or get a jersey retirement. Suuuuper sad to see.

Kieran Swan he is definitely making the HOF. 2 time champ in HS, went to the championship game as a freshmen. 1 and done 1st pick NBA draft. Rookie of the year, youngest MVP ever. There is literally not one player who won MVP that didn’t make it. Him being the youngest ever solidifies it.

It's a 48 min game. Stop blaming Thibs because Pat Riley also played an 8 man rotation.
The real culprit is lean muscle. You can't tear fat and athletes are far better conditioned than previous generstions.
      I'm overworked at 8 hours a day, 5 times a week.

He and butler could have been winning titles like the bulls teams of old.. The bulls would let go of any talented player around them who could really play and be consistent and put points on ths scoreboard..I don't know if it was a salary cap thing or the team didn't want to pay the money to keep another great player on the team. .but building a team that can play together /win' together make all the players healthier everyone is doing great.contributing.. players can rest on the bench when needed and they are less prone to injuries..this is a contributing factor as to why His injury happened... Next time you saw certain great players they were wearing another team jerseys..ilke the one guy so short Lebrone couldn't guard him now you know Lebrone is Good.always have been He's used to guarding guys closer to his height..but this guy would use his size..think he was about 5.5. as a advantage...He would back away from him just to get a good view over his head and just shoot three pointers.. I knew when he scored thirty or more points against Lebrone one Game..He would be gone..The height thing was not a problem for him.. He shown and proved that he could play against anyone Regardless of how tall they where..... Next season he was in a Houston Rockets Uniform. I am happy he is doing so well in minnesota..and I am so not surprised..hope he continues to do well..

Hits me everytime. I don't even get the thought of them coming back if he was on the bench. Thibs ended a career that would've been one of the greatest if not the greatest PG to play the game 😭

Going 100mph all the time is just not sustainable. Had D.Wade not mellowed down, his body would have retired him years ago. Love D.Rose and his drive. He was a real Bull (especially when he sees a small gap he can blast through inside) in every sense of the word.

Congrats to the “ROSE FAMILY”... The unity in the family remains me of a Biblical Story about Shepard name “David”. He being the youngest son of Jessie, and how the prophet came to Jessie, the father, inquiring about God choosing one of his son’s to be King. So, the prophet interviewed all the elder sons of Jessie, concluding they weren’t the chosen one. So, Jessie told the prophet, I only have one son left, and he’s my youngest, so I know God will not choose him. The prophet said, “Let me speak with him”, and once David walk to the open door, the prophet said, “The Lord of Host, has anointed this child, to become the next king of isreal”.
So, I see Derrick Rose in this same spiritual reality. That he’s chosen to up lift his family and community. So, I appreciate his drive and his endurance. It’s evident that he needs a lot of love, and encouragement on a daily. Because of love, thats what keeping him motivated, and what he’s going need to help him complete his journey.
So, with his now wife or fiancé, its evident that she’s given him what he needs at this time in his life, alone with his children. And, giving Thanks to Coach Tom Thibodeau for being available with a team like the Timberwolves, that help grace Derrick Rose the opportunity, to show the NBA and his fans, that he’s still is # 1...
Welcome back baller, “THE WINDY CITY ASSASSIN”.... I hope you choose a team this summer, that will help close the chapter to your career with a championship, because you truly deserve it.. STAY STRONG SON!

Earth Resident - I think u should be praising Westbrook rather than slandering Derrick. Recovering from those injuries isn’t easy, and Rose only played 10 games after coming back before tearing up his knee all over again. He’s had plenty of other issues as well & I think he’s done a good job of becoming a solid player again

Better than Lebron and anybody else today's players! If not of his career ending knee injury Lebron is a goner! He will Lebron alive! How motherfucking ESPN-LEBRONIACS dare to compare lebron against Mike when he cannot even match against this smaller yet explosive guy, D Rose????! How stupid would that get?
