Sat Sri Akal. Thanks to producers, director, actors, story and dialogue writers and all technicians for giving us the wonderful and emotional family drama Patiala Babes. It was like Hanuman Singh, Babita, Minnie, Lala, Naeem Bi, Micky, Preet, Khurana and Shammiji, Katri and Kammoji were all part of my life for over a year.
But I won't see future episodes as I can't bear to see Babita and Hanuman Singh remain only in garlanded photos. I know it is only a TV serial and life moves on even in TV serials. I don't know why the sudden end to the two main characters. But the sudden twist in the serial has left me like an excited child watching the balloon it was blowing grew bigger and bigger but burst all of a sudden. All you have got is a shred of rubber in hand and the memory of the big beautiful balloon. Disappointed but still happy.
Thank you Aniruddh Dave and Paridhi Sharma for your terrific and wonderful performance as Hanuman Singh and Babita. You breathed life and fire into these characters. It's hard to believe you would no longer exist and Minnie would no longer be calling you out as 'babes' or 'Hanuman uncle'. And what about my favourite havildar Lala. Who can fill the shoes of his dearest friend and inspector Hanuman Singh? Who can the cute Lala affectionately call 'sir saap', 'sir saap' a hundred times a day. I think Lala should file an FIR on the culprits who caused death of his beloved boss and Babita behanji in the serial!
And what about Naeem Bi? Who can console the wise, chirpy and straight talking old woman? Allah mare! she has lost her dear brave 'son' and her dear friend Babita. You even feel sorry for Kathri and Kammo. Now who would they turn to spin gossip and stories against? The sudden death of Hanuman Singh and Babita has not only devastated viewers but obviously left a huge wreck in the Patiala mohalla.
Good luck to 'Minnie' Ashnoor Kaur in the rest of the serial. You are an outstanding actress. Just like your character in the serial your acting is quite mature and performance larger than life. Hope you fly high and achieve your dreams and ambitions in life as an independent strong woman. No doubt, Hanuman Singh and Babita would feel proud of you and would be watching their dear chori Veer Balika from heavens.

Today luckily I read your comment posted here during the lock down period.the comment was exactly what I think about the serial, Patiala Babes.really it's a serial, story but very much attached to me because of my favourite actress Paridhi and the dashing hero, Aniruddh Dave. I can't digest the exit of both amazing leading actors without any reason.the writers and makers simply relay on only the single character of Minie.quite un natural one.
