This was an awesome instructional video, thank you! I have been wondering how to paint them to get them accurate, but now I know! I'd like to be considered for the side panels. I had a prop business that I ran with a friend, but ended up getting ripped off to the tune of about 10,000, and I lost a friend! He's very successful now, I guess I don't understand how bad people keep prospering. I ordered some resin ones through eBay and they arrived broken and not at all as described. I wasn't able to get a refund for them, so now they're just sitting in my shop collecting dust. If I am consisted for the give away, it would sure be a breath of fresh air for the stroke or bad luck I've been having with prop building!

I would like ti do a Solo on Carbonite 1:1 lamp for my son room. As separated family this Will make his room very appreciated. We are all star wars fan. I known this Will make him very Happy.

I'm working on a small room in the house now for my Star Wars collection wanting to finish the walls with a theme to match, and making this door would be the finishing touch I just dont have a 3D printer so making those parts wouldn't be an option right now to get the full detail of the carbonite block. Well done, the amount of detail is unreal!

Ours will be to a spare bedroom so the door will not be open too much and so I dont think they will get in our way.
But all kidding aside, the first pass was for the boddy filler. This is hard as stone once dry. The sander is required. The paper sanding was only for the touch up. Cheers!
I saw a G4 tv special where Olivia Munn had castings done of her face and body to make a similar deal. Framed it up and used 5 gallons of Elmers glue to make the surrounding “Carbonite”. Painted it up much like you did and hung it on the wall. Makes me want to do this as the molds of Harrison Ford are $250 minimum.
Nice idea and execution ; by now u give away those command enclosure ,so u can print 3 more for yourself : 1 in vertical ,up , wright side of Solo , second opposite side but horizontally , and the third ,vertically under left hand ; with lighting sequences for the gizmos ( SI-FI !!! another form for carbonite conservation) . Better then no light effects ,and u child can damage "parafarnalia " . JUST IDEA , DO NOT BE MAD ON ME ! ....... MORE : optic fiber , with visible light conduction in all length , in enclosure with LED multicolour ( not with IC) , in 2 or 3 point ,made some electric arcs effect ......
My family is a huge Starwars fan base (from my wife to my grand babies), we have a game room I would love to make the entrance a Han Solo in Carbonite to be a unique entrance. Thanks so much
