After the second time of listening to this, I realized that King Iso was actually mimicing the cadence Twista did on his song Overdose from back in the day. Holy shit. And Rittz flow is so unmatched, it's crazy. I don't know anyone who has a better flow than him. Then Twista's technical style is just overkill lol.
I'd love to see videos on just about any song in his catalogue, barring any features. He tends to get more introspective when it's only him. Tracks like Society, Keep Breathing, Edicius, Dementia, Jim Carrey, Autophobia, Help Yourself, Be Fine, etc etc. Coincidentally, that's some of his best work and my personal favorites. Whenever I introduce his music to peers, those are typically the ones I share first
King ISO is an amazing artist who really speaks facts and puts his own vulnerabilities on display. Rittz is the one who got him hooked up with Tech N9ne to get on Strange Music. It's a long story really but they have a bond. ISO shouts him out in several songs. They have another song together called "BYOB" (Be Your Own Boss). The song "Jim Carrey" is one of his absolute best that you have to take the time to react to.
@@silence6813 Yeah he did, King ISO has a long video about how he felt just before jumping into Strange Music which was his dream. I think it's like an hour long storytime but there is a condensed 10 min version out there.
@@robert_5974 yeah I saw it a few years ago. Iso was very mature and well spoken about leaving Brainsick despite the issues he had over there, plus he even still showed love for the label.
Never heard of King Iso until I saw him in concert last night with Tech9 and Hollywood Undead. Iso was definitely the highlight of the show for me. I've been listening to him since the show last night.
Man that’s sick you saw him live, how was it? I heard he goes hard on stage. I’ve been wanting them to come to east coast, but debating on taking a trip out west this year to catch a show
@Seryma86 he was amazing in concert. Is was a 3 hour drive back home from the concert and we were listening to him all the way home. What made it even better was after his set, he came out with his crew and stood right behind us in the crowd. He would autograph anything anyone asked him to, and he was talking us.
iso was straight and i'm happy for the introduction. but rittz's flow hit escape velocity on this feature. and that's why he's a staple on my playlist even tho i don't hear his name mentioned a lot
Rittz's features can/should be feared by anyone he's invited to rap with. Dude's features 100% of the time sound like he's rapping as his very first time ever being heard. As much as I absolutely love him as a solo artist, I could see him teaming up with a running EP theme with a heavy-hitting rapper and it being the best shit Rittz has ever put out.
Yooooo so glad you guys are finally checking king iso out!!! He has some pretty emotional music check out hypocrite and Jim carry are slower and show his singing side which is 🔥
Twists definitely brought it home in the end. At first I was going to say he was just displaying his technique but it wasn’t much on topic but in the end he made it on brand and that was impressive.
I dont think people realize that Twista released adrenaline rush in 1997 hes been in the game for 25 years. The fact he's able to still spit a verse like this is just mind blowing what a beast of talent.
I was listening to Mista Tung Twista on a burned CD when I was in high school in the early 2000's...I believe it came out in '91. Dude has been rapping like this for 30+ years.
Iso - BSN, Alone, Twisted Thoughts, Jealous, JIYF, Dementia, Keep Breathing . . . Great songs to react to. Iso stay bringin subject matter. 1 of the realest in the game. Js
I’m still waiting for iso to drop his best song, was on autophobia but got left out, think it was called Ghost-town, had some kind of red dead 2 southern beat, blew my mind.
Been following you guys since you did your 1st rittz reaction video. Love that you guys always break down the bars!. There's a reason I've been a fan of Rittz for 11 1/2 years ( since white Jesus revival ) And King Iso 3 & half years (right before Dementia) Raw Talent Real Lyrics you can relate to and they're both down to earth real genuine dudes!
FINALLY you guys got to Iso! Very likely it was because of the features on this song, but I'm glad to see it either way. Been overlooked for over a decade and is only getting better with time.
For 1 y'all the goats for reacting to this, I've been waiting for someone to. Secondly it's so nice to see someone appreciate and really dig Rittz as much as me.
Twista has a "Killer Instinct" flow. Listening to him is like being in a different room, while you hear someone getting hit with a loooooong ass, 40+ hit combo that either, ends with, "ULTRAAAAA COMBOOOOO!!!! or ULTIMATE COMBO", depending on how he ends the verse. 😂😂😂😂
I think the reason why any track rittz gets on he is so commanding is his ability to double time and chop while also giving a animated delivery. His delivery of his lines just forcefully grab your attention.
Oh boys, well played! I been waiting for a King ISO reaction for a minute from you 😉 always appreciate both of your musical insights nonetheless! Ritz is a gotdang genius lyrically and his flow is fantastic. I feel like ISO tries really hard to be as authentic as possible musically, so many of his songs have real powerful emotions all the way through them. Twista.. well, it’s Twista. Don’t need to say more! Big ups, good reaction. Have a like 👍
Yooo its been a while since ive been back to the channel. Ive missed yall but life has been busy. Seen you popped up again when I searched for Rittz just now and had to take a minute and swing by while at work. Much love guys!

King iso- weekend dad It's a slower song an he keeps the same cadence threw out all 3 verses. And he talks about something meaningful weekend dad/weakened dad
Good to see you guys on point, I've been following for 4 years because of your breakdown on Rittz but you made me sub. Props cover more Rittz, like Box Chevy 6 Yelawolf and Rittz forgot the 3rd on the track
THANK YA’LL 👑💯I been saying for years King ISO deserves more exposure and this new album is fire from start to finish 🔥Can y’all react to “Hellthy” and “Zero Dark Thirty”
Rittz went to crazy and got my vote for best verse’s on this cause of how he executed that story but twista definitely showed why he the fastest In the world, on the side super dope to see king Iso on the with these guys and strange💯

Ritz sets this track off like crazy. Fav line “Ima bad bitch puller, fat and ugly as ever but never been afraid to stack make mula”. That cadence switch goes crazy
Great reaction! I’m glad someone is giving king iso reactions! You should think about doing “under my tongue” off his new album. That song is about how he use to hustle in a mental ward hospital. Dope ass beat and story! It goes hard!
I really like the way that sounded, but if I listened to it on my own I wouldn't have caught any of the writing, Thanks for the help and the stellar reaction.
You guys gotta do some Che Noir. She an underground rapper, just dropped a fire project with feats from Ransom, Armani Caesar and Rome Streetz. She barring it up. I recommend the track Eat or Starve.
That cut at 3:18 really needs to be revealed to the public lolol! You know there was a funny conversation that came after Ryan's comment about "not to cheat"
His "World War Me" album is worth a Grammy in my opinion. Unbelievably underrated!!!
U sir! Have great taste in music!

Agreed
Autophobia is my favorite album ever made and world war me is top 5. Nobody has ever had a better sound than king iso

I heard it the first time because I’m a big twista fan I’m like damn paying homage to my homie twista
I caught that too. Dope shit.
I listen to Overdose everyday. You a real one for noticing the similarities.
Twista is doing the exact stuff that George and Ryan are criticizing. He's filling his bars with nonsensical adjectives.

Y'all need to do LAF Remix by Rittz with Crooked I, Yelawolf, and Royce Da 5'9 that shit go hard too
so old now
This needs more upvotes
I think they did it when it was new?
Why the remix? The original is way better
@@n.88. agreed, not sure why the remix gets all the love.
More King Iso reactions please. He has some of the most intelligent and meaningful bars especially on songs like Jim Carrey
