Question:
Would it work to throw some elbows to the shoulders (especially the traps) when you are in high mount and the guy just holds on?
Not a way to stop the fight, just as a way to do some damage from the position. I'm thinking it would work like leg kicks, accumulating into swelling = no more muscle control. Good luck grappling without your traps. If my idea works, that is.

with all respect, sherif Mohammed with all heart to fight , but his standup skill and tactics to fight is quite bad. After several years later against Akiyama, his style is the same.
