Yoruba is special. No questions at all. Very loaded philosophical language. You can feel the void in linguistic beauty conducting this interview in any other language but Yoruba. In more organized places, this man will be richer than some of those artists he worked with. Nice work.
Hearing of you for the first time, but you are a legend and a national treasure sir. God bless you 🙏.
Oh My God.... I have been looking for someone to help me sing that "elegede n'jaiye ori e" part, thank you so much for singing it slowly..
Good works.
Please let this type of interview be in Yorùbá language.
Please stop this colonial mentality.
Let's promote our Cultural heritage.
Please tell the man to get in touch with me.
I thought as much...I was born in the 80s but I always wonder how much philosophical KSA is in his music. Those words are too deep, even when he was younger. Well done to him though for doing his assignment thoroughly his songs are ever green. My dad in his early 70s is one of ksa greatest fan
An obviously gifted man with super special creative talents
You did a great interview but you missed a vital part!!! You should have started the interview by asking him of his name and his backgrounds. Now his name is not even mentioned throughout the interview.
Keep it up. He is such a great man
This man is still a great asset.
He spoke well and his english is Very clear. Thank you for the English interview.
It is good that you did the interview in English. And he spoke well, job well done.
I would like to see this man being interviewed in yoruba....is a very intelligent man. I love his use of words especially in yoruba. He knows KSA in and out when he mentioned he could prostrate for people younger than him.My father used to attend KSA ariya in those days and he mentioned same experience
We're working on a second part that will be in Yoruba. Keep your notification turned on.
Is better you guys to do the interview in Yoruba language, because they open up a lot when they speak 🗣️ there language and we enjoy it by than
The gentleman must be a genius. Great interview.
What an insightful interview. The man is really talented. Having composed songs for super star musicians in the genres of Juju and Fuji music, I wonder why he cannot be helped financially by them. Furthermore, he is supposed to be receiving appreciable amount of money in royalties for his intellectual property registered over the years.
Sunny Alade Records is owned by KSA for whom this gentleman claimed to have written lyrics and composed songs. KSA probably has a recording studio that feeds into the Alade Records.
One cannot have a better connection in the music industry than KSA. Is there a kink in their relationship?
You know at times folks don't want to ask. ....Can be a situation like that.
Mistake is that no contract sign between them ,he should be eating the fruit of that songs forever
It depends on the contractual agreement . They can agree on one time pay off , which is usually huge , or royalty (commission) which will be less but for an agreed period of time which might be a lifetime and even transferrable to his descendants .
As he didn't accuse them of anything , it is logical to say they have kept their own side of the bargain .
This man can still sing why is he not giving it a try?
We are not equally talented.... even in USA, many people write songs for Big Artists...when they venture into music themselves, they flop big time..
Nice interview 👍
I think you should do a series of documentary on those Sunny Ade and Ebenezer musicians .....the Guitarists the drummers and let them share what they do or what happened while at studio when recording
So interesting. Great talent
Interested
Kudos 👏
Nice interview Qs but about his financial needs, said he had worked with million/billionaires, so what happened then or now - if I may support? Thanks
Very informative and i never knew all these great musicians have someone composing for them.I hope he was paid for his works. However, why is everyone talking about how nice to conduct the interview in English? What is wrong in conducting the interview in any indigenous language? All that'll needed to reach more audience is to translate.Africans should be proud of what they have and start doing things there own way or can you ask a white man to do an interview in your Africans language?
This man NEEDS an IP Lawyer, urgently! Look at him calling his clients "my Boss". Chai
Wow,this is lovely
Nice interview but i think it would have been better if it was conducted in his mother tongue with translation provided.
Conducting the interview in yoruba language would have been a disadvantages to other listeners, so let others gain too.
So why was the interviewer hiding his face?
Bros me, Ẹ̀gbọ́n Toyin dis ur brother wishing u well from Switzerland.... Segun.. How can l reach u boda mi
Conducting the interview in Yoruba language could have brought out more depth on the subject matter, the baba did well in his English expression but more interesting information would have spilled out if conducted otherwise. & translating or cc in English for the benefits of the non yoruba speaking audience.
Good talk, they are not creative at all. because they lack knowledge and they don't want to learn.
The man behind, " Ekilo fun Omo ode "
I don't understand who we are speaking English language for. Why can't this interview be made in the mother tongue.
Nice interview but to speak in Yoruba would have been better.
We may need to know what happened in the background before making comments
Many Nigerians make money but extended family commitments can be a problem - 1 rich man in a family of 9 poor family members, will be poor
I hate when doing evergreens works like this and be speaking foreign language
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍🏼🇬🇧
I think it is best..when interviewing YORUBA artists..to discuss in YORUBA language (the mother tongue of the artist)..so that we can get the best out of the discussion..enough of the colonial mentality
guys wey dey complain bout yoruba dis yoruba dat ..4 weeks ago didnt even know about juju ghost writers 🤣🤣
Our kolomentality is beggars belief. ..why can't you interview him in Yoruba language instead of our heinous slave master's language?
which you obviously speak and write so well...hmmm, more like ostrich mentality

Good for you...you may now start your own UA-cam channel and showcase this laundry list of talents including your adept use of profanities which speak well to your family background, otherwise learn to appreciate other people's intellectual works.
@@rayajao1566 Wow! The only polyglot in town. Lend me your language talent for a while my friend. 👍
This man probably got no writing credits for the projects he worked on with these artist. He couldn't even mention more than one song he worked on. Perhaps bridging intellectual property right is an issue. He probably sold them all out for peanuts back in the day..tragic!
You made a good point. KSA has released dozens of songs in vinyl records, cassettes and CDs spanning several decades. If the man could remember just only one song he composed for him, there may be more sides to the story told here.
@@Criticalthinking01 Most of them do. I could remember Conscience was composed by an Oba in Yoruba land.
If you listen to the man very well. He was very careful in naming other projects he did with KSA
the lyric are so demeaning, there's no interest in the music but blowing , how will you blow when you have nothing to offer
Hidden, oppressed and cheated Talent. Does he need to be soliciting for financial assistance?
You need to listen to Late Fatai Rolling Dollar.....
Please I need this man contact. I wish to do something
His contact is somewhere close to the end of the video or simply check the video description
Thanks for watching. Second part of this interview in Yoruba is on the way.
Can you get me his contact please?
