WE WANT IEM AWARDDDDDDDD!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love how you are doing more videos than usual. Love your content!
thanks for the great info, saves me alot of money with honest reviews pulling no punches. Really like that graphs are explained and issues highlighted via them, helping me to also interpret graphs elsewhere. Keep it up and have a happy New Year.
I'm glad that looking into your IEM rankings, 7th Acoustics is making a name on itself. Happy New Year Timmy, can't wait for what's installed for you in 2023!
They are pretty good
@@Gizaudio have you heard the 7th Acoustics supernova? The new tech behind it is pretty cool
Been a minute since I’ve seen you in the comments used to see you in every comment section
Great video Timmy! I would like to see iem awards video soon!
Soon soon!
At least you didn't pack all the iems in a single ziploc bag like a certain reviewer 👀.
Timmy, how would you compare the C3 and it's older brother T3 Plus? And is T2 DLC better than Hzsound Heart Mirror Pro in overall sound quality?
Super review just rated C2 as 5* and the best budget iem. This should be a reminder of just how subjective music and iems are. My take on it is most of these iems are darn good and you'll be happy with most of them. Secondly the music is most important and the source should just be a tool and not get in the way.
I had a majoy problem of IEM, they can not sound the same as headphone, I have to use finger push IEM really into my ear to get the fullness of sound (all the low end), once I release my push, the sound become flat & thine again. (I using the T2) Am I wear the T2 In the wrong way?
I haven’t tried any of the new Tin IEM’s. Latest was the T3+. It’s pretty good but I find myself reaching for others more. I loved the T4 but I haven’t listened to them in a while. Mostly because I’ve purchased better since I’ve had them. I definitely don’t need any more IEM’s at this point. I might have a problem.
How does the C2 compare to the Hexa? I have the C2 and it does sound harsh without EQ. Is the Hexa a worthy upgrade over the C2, especially in soundstage?
Is unique melody mentor v2 great for kpop, jpop music... ??
Tin T3+ vs c3 which ones better?
IEM’s technicalities is very much important criteria for me, like different between 2.0, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, 5.1.2 speakers sound effects
wow i spend a lot of time auto eq ing last night, it finally worked to eq my olina to the ie300 and its soooo good now🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Will you review the Cadenza?
how does it compare with their previous T2 plus? I think T2+ is kind of an outlier in Tin's lineup as it heads towards the warmer side, probably one of their best iteration a couple years back or even now
as usual my favorite and the best iem reviewer period..! do you have a review about kiwi ears cadenza? or can you please have a review about this iem thank you very much merry X-Mas & advance Happy NW YR🥳
Not yet, maybe soon
C3 are one of my current favourites under $50. I actually didn't like the treble on the Cadenza and thought it didn't sound right for some reason compared to the C3.
Yeah cadenza is kinda Metallic to my ears.
It seems from the TinHifi, basing on your reviews you prefer the T3+. Will be waiting for your review on the HBB Khan. Have a good one!
In this video it became pretty clear to me that my preferences don't really match yours at all, and lie much closer to those of Mark from Super* Review. I personally LOVE the C2 and T2 DLC so I found it surprising to see a lot of other reviewers dislike it. That being said, I still love your videos and agree with most of your overall takes. So will keep watching your videos for sure! Oh and Happy new Year in advance Timmy and everyone!
Hey what kind of songs do you listen i wanna. Buy c2 but am confused in wanker and this c2 built is better how is the bass response on this ? And i liaten jpop and lofi
I wish I knew reviewers that liked metal so I could get an exact feel for some of these iems because my god it's hard
I guess soundstage and imaging is important to gaming as well
Tin Hifi releases C4.
Next day on CNN: "FBI has mistaken a slew of earphone searches for bomb threats"
Yes lol
Truly some of the iems of all time
Tin C3 Gizaudio Edition when
Is T4 still good purchase for female voices ?
hi timmy!! i seem to have pretty similar music taste and preferences as you, so i wanted to ask what your personal favorite iem is around or under 100 usd
Around $100 I'd pick the Wan'er
But if I can add EQ, I pick 7th Acoustic Proxima
@@Gizaudio What about the Hexa and Zero Truthears that rank higher on your list and cost less than $100? In this case, shouldn't Wan'er be better positioned, as it's your preference under $100?
@@nivaldosiqueira5178 zero and Hexa are better, but Wan'er fits my personal preference the most signature wise.
@@Gizaudio Thanks for the quick response!! Understood!! Happy New Year!!
The C2 won MSR's Koncha Kombat and I almost impulse-bought the Mech Warrior - he found the Wan'er SG to be pretty meh, whereas when I bought it as per your recommendation, I absolutely adored testing it before giving it to my girlfriend.
I guess you and Crin have the same preferences as I do, so I'm really excited for the Galileo. 😉
Thank you! I know Mark's preference leans on the brighter frequencies so it makes perfect sense he likes the C2 more. The Wan'er is probably too thick and relaxed.
Hey i cant buy both. To test them out and i have chu i like it no probs with trebel but i feel that nore bass would be good and i liaten jpop anime tracks and all so should i get wanker or c2
Yup, not a good idea to buy based off of one reviewer, unless that reviewer shares your same preferences. You need to know what you want.
My preference seems to be similar to Timmy's as well. Under 50, the Cadenza and Wan'er are my favorite.
Dayum
I used to keep my IEMs in ziplock bags as well, Until my wife bought me a watch case for Christmas
I don't have enough watch cases sadly lol
Can you please choose between Tinhifi c3 vs salnotes zero vs tanzu wan-er
watch video, and you'll know the answer to this question.
If you want a smooth neutral yet subtly bright and non sub bassy mix, go for Salnotes. If you want similar mix but with a little more exciting low-end for your type of music then Wan-er. C3 might work for pop music only because of the somewhat strange tuning it delivers.
These new TinHi Fi measurements reminds of the old KZ models. Very similar.
If i saw this before, i have skipped buying the C3, i had big hopes for it, i agree with what you said. The lower treble is really distracting, un natural. But i was able to buy that for $35. Tangzu Waner and QKZxHBB are better than the C3. Bought the C3 except the Cadenza and now i feel bad.
Are v shapes good for drum sound presentation only? Like for edrums
v shapes are good for a ‘fun’ music listening experience, any music is viable
@@papervws yeah I know but what shape is best for drums only presentation
@@papervws because I need deep kick drum sound but clean noticable cymbals and hi hats aswell
@@SchwappSchwopp any IEM would be fine for just drums. personally i’d go for CCA CRA+ or QKZ HBB or TANGZU Wan’er, first two are V shape and fun and the last one is more balanced
Друг с наступающим тебя!
would you recommend the old t2 over those 4 😆
@@ariathyf144 which 1
I carry my $200 iem in a hard case, but when he let me try to the Viento B and SA6 Ultra, he handed me it with ziplock! The manufacturer should provide an IEM carry bag for him.
They do provide, I just don't use them lol
They should hire me..I would make a p1 max with a tad more bass ,1-2 db less in the 2-3khz area and 2-3 db less in the 9 khz area ..and 2 db + in the over 13 khz area This would be a perfect p1 max.More warm but also moe airy. When i eq them like this they are perfect very natural you don t have that distractive hi hat torture..amd the synth- violin efect..that all these trembly iems have. The only problem is that maybe they have to add an est driver in the over 12khx area to achieve this.. like hook x ..
Was hoping that you'd compare these to the T3+, is it the best among these?
T3+ is just okay in today's market. Same grade as C2
@@Gizaudio You spoke pretty highly of the T3+ in your review though, especially when comparing it to the Aria. Has your opinion on the T3+ changed since then?
@@lyh01 that was very long ago. Chifi market changes a lot. And in today's market with Wan'er, Zero, etc. T3+ is no longer competing
I haven't tested the Wan'er but could say that in a great sense this talk comes down a lot to a matter of your own personal taste, pretty much that. I own the T3+, the Aria, the Chu, the 7hz Zero and a number of others.
When I want a cleaner and more detailed, polished sound, I grab something like the 7hz Zero. But among the ones cited above, the Tin T3+ is still my favorite. I think it matches my library really well and I just appreciate its signature very much. So there's this subject aspect of the hobby, which does not exclude the objective aspect, but it is also very important.
Some like vanilla and others strawberry, and it is a great thing to have different flavors for all tastes, in spite of what one might objectively judge as being better or worse.
@@davi.poiani I actually ordered the T3+ yesterday. So, hearing that it's no longer competing is kinda concerning for me. Your reply is actually reassuring for me lol. I chose the T3+ because there are a lot of people on reddit with similar opinions as yours, but the posts are outdated. Plus, most good reviews about it are also from a long time ago so yea. I hope it won't let me down!
My C3 has less in the 2k-5k less than my C2 Mech Warrior. Everyone else I know that has both says the same as I do. Go figure…
Waiting for HBB Khan review
To me, the $30 TinHifi C2 Mech Warrior is actually a really good value, just like buying a $80 Moondrop Aria but better build quality and cheaper.
They are as good as aria and T3 plus, They are a steal at this price. I have T3 plus, I like c2 better because that little bit more treble and air, driver sounds just as good quality as well, the budget sector is improving so fast that £/$30 iem now sounding as good as £/$80 from 1-2 years ago.
Timmy are you getting zeos’ new collab?nan na 2.1?
no, most likely not
I actually prefer the C2 over the Cadenza
C2 2.5~6khz flat line somewhat reminds me of gaea, supernova
Yes but those work better because these reasons
For Gaea,
It has an overall boost to the whole upper mids and part of lower mids. This gives a sense of fullness to the sound, balancing out the energy in the lower treble.
For Supernova, its a similar situation to the Gaea but a bit tamer across the board.
The reason C2, C3, T4 Plus, and T2 DLC doesn't work is because the focus is all in the lower treble for the vocals. It's not even/ balanced out by any other elements.
@@Gizaudio thx for the explanation timmy and I agree with you that the frequency bands are affecting each other.
C3 fit FTW!!!
C3 looks like Seeaudio Yume Midnight ✨✨
lol! that's right
Timmy unbagging video when 😂
oh no lol
Tin Audio T2 is the Legend .....
I love the look of T4 Plus, buuuttt 😩
Dunno what to say, commenting for algorithm
thank you lol!
Iem award when?
TinHiFi C4+ is now a C+ in the rankings... just like that
The Wan'ers are just so good it's insane. Literally no reason to pick another IEM under $100 for me.
Did you check the Olina SE? It can compete with the $200 iems.
@@rajeebdas1724 bhai in sabne chutiya kaat rakha hai i mean like some say buy wan er some be like waner is overhyped go for c2
Iem waifu ranking when?
Tin hifi sound amazing, but ill never buy another pair because they stop working very quickly .
Hmmm……. I’m finding myself in disagreement a lot lately with this channel! I haven’t tried any of TinHifi’s new offering but to say that 2022 was a bad year???!!!
The 3 Plus is still a very good iem in the sub $100 category and the P1 Max, at its lowered price, is even better!
Something I’d like to mention that’s almost never talked about is usage case. What I’ve found is that a lot of times complaints about too much upper midrange & treble mostly go away when the usage is for commuting or outdoors in environments with sub sonic frequencies. Sub sonic frequencies tend to attenuate both lower and upper frequencies. Also, if your use case is with a Bluetooth receiver, upper frequencies can have a tendency to be pulled back a bit. That little bit of extra energy in the graphs can actually be of benefit!
If a company need to half price an IEM (P1 Max) for it to be considered worth it, it's not truly a good IEM from the start. Any brand can do that. T3 Plus is not that good in comparison to the market today, and was really only top 3 under $100 for a few months. So essentially Tin has one worth the money release in all of 2022 (not counting P1 Max which needed to be half off to be good), and they released a total of at least 6-8 IEMs.
And don't tell me P1 Max was good at full price, if it was people would buy it. They slashed the price because very few were buying.
Also just looked this up. T3 Plus was released 2021.....
So 2022 Tin has no worth the money/ competitive releases.
@@Gizaudio Sometimes very good products get either overlooked or pushed aside due to rapid movements in the market. Ask yourself how many iem’s were released last year? As many as you reviewed, you only covered a small fraction. Many get swept under the rug or never even get on the radar. Does that mean they’re bad? Of course not!
Was the P1Max worthy of its MSRP? I think that it was. It actually competes well in any planar iem comparisons video I’ve watched. It’s just that you’re preferences aren’t towards neutral sounding earphones.
@@Gizaudio p1max actually sounds quite balance, relax with very good resolution to my ears at the same time. I have both timeless and p1max. When i need more fun to my music, I reach timeless, but whenever I want more relax and organic presentation combined with actually good soundstage depth (to my ears), I will pick the p1max over the bassy timeless anyday.
This also shows how audio is very subjective and how reviewers can easily just say "not good" or even straight "bad" about an IEM without giving any further thoughts about the alternative use case & music preferences.
Log off, Timmy. You earn your holiday time 🤣
One more lol
@@Gizaudio it better be a 2022 round up or something 🤣
@@vianhoho19 not yet. That one will be in Jan.
@@Gizaudio hoooo okay 😉
Why do they always produce headphones with a hump in the region of 2-5 kHz, for example, in Mangird Tea2 I really don’t like this bulge on vocals 😡

I was just cursing timmy for not reviewing c2
you can sleep well now lol
@@Gizaudio ahghhhh wooah timmy saw right through me like i had dreams of waner and c2 mech fighting in arcade
That t4 plus is an abomination they keep fucking up
Well c2 won in the awards of sper review now i am dont waht a confusion 🗿🗿 how can i decide in tangzu wanker and c2 mecha
Depends on preference. Super Review preference is slightly brighter than mine. So if you preference is similar to his, C2 is better.
Hi Timmy great video as usual! But I wish you could do more blind listening tests please, I just cant trust graphs anymore thanks
I need more guest lol
Ah is this a calling for episode 2?
@@shuwahou9929 Yes....
I read this as good try tin but none for Timmy.
And again. Here I go. Super reviews gave the c2 the best review. That's because he listens to low volume. You listen with more volume . Then the upper mids and treble can be to much. For me when I hear at 85db. Non of them is good to much highs for me. Ans when I listen to metal. I have better options
I like louder yeah
@@Gizaudio I notice that you cha ge your tuning by the years. Now you less treble ans nore bass thab before.
@@paulosilva8200 I lean more and more balanced, so yeah. More bass, and not less treble, but smoother treble.
@Gizaudio good boy. Lol. Tap tap
