They should play this the next time the Austrian Chancellor comes to visit.
It depends on the music corps. The staff music corps allways plays Prussia's Glory - also at state visits from France. The music corps of the Bundeswehr allways enters with this march.

Wtf. Where is that coming from? Lol
Both Germany and Austria are already the tiny versions of the former German and Austro-Hungarian Empire.
The worlds undisputed super power is already the USA. Europeans should stop dreaming of their lost glory. Your days are over.
Even China is just a wannabe.
Russia is just a shadow of the former USSR.

Funny how all germans forget that Arminius was later defeated at Idistavisus, lost control on his followers and was killed by some of them...
@Projekt Ultimatum Jesus was killed by the Romans/jews, not his own men. The Battle of Teutoburg had nothing to do with the fall of the Roman empire (which happened 467 years later). Feel free to keep stroking your nationalistic ego though.

The tune at 2.32 is the start of the Hohenfriedburger march before it cuts off.
It is Preußicher Präsientermarsch. It is played before every March.
The catering in the music corps seems to be good.
“My boy, we’re pilgrims in an unholy land.”
too easy of a go to.
Königgrätz is a German name for Hradec Kralove i.e. Kings/Queens Castle...a town in Czechia.
We beat the Austrians there that’s why the march is named after the town.

Fantastic. I have to ask (with a smile) if the coming out of the woods is symbolic? Mimicking a Napoleonic battle or perhaps the Ardennes?
It's not symbolic. It depends on the location.
Still got that Prussian disciplinary
Very sharp.

Love this march. I don't know if it's German tradition for the Drummers to play so loud, but I can safely say our DM (and the rest of the band) would not be happy if we played that loud 🤣
Has to sound marshal.
If there's a Spielmannszug (the pipers and drummers in front) with the music corps, it's supposed to be heard. The drumbeat is for the following columns to keep in step. The music is basically just an accessory.

@@BTBconcept Thank you very much for that lesson is history.

Very nice. Germany really needs to go back to WWII style military uniforms. Not Nazi uniforms, German military uniforms. They were some of the most impressive uniforms ever.
Why would they go back to the "Nazi uniforms"? And do you even know the difference between the two? You could've just said "Wehrmacht uniform" to begin with...
