    Can i ask you a question dear coach tom ? I just started to do bjj about under a month and i had a problem . My DIP ( the closest joints to the nails in the fingers ) ached causing pain when i tried to fold or hold my hands . It gets better if i endure the pain but it will come back if i do not use those joints in 10 mins after . Could you help me with problems and how can i avoid it ? And how long it may take me to fold my hands normally ?

    I noticed that Andy's left arm had a grip on the wrist not the elbow...does this mattress or doesn't really make a difference

    Seems to rely on the attacker in the street to have sleeves or strong material jacket of some sort.
