Mariano, To answer your questions I will need a bit more information. Both will depend on the size/material of label, as well as the amount of ink coverage you plan to do per label. My contact information is below. Hannah Gibson HannahG@StaffordPress.com (425) 861- 5856
Stafford Press, Inc. Thanks so much for ur response . Imake labels 7x15 cm . Glossy . Epson has an internal soft to check the amount of ink consumed for each work ?
Mariano, Yes, Epson does have a program to check how much ink cost goes into each label. If you would like to email me a file of the labels you are doing now, I will use the program to determine ink costs/label. My Email is HannahG@staffordpress.com Thanks, Hannah
There's a reson Epson has their comments turned off on their own page. So they can silence the issues surrounding the C-7500 I've owned one now for 3 and a half years and it's finally time to throw this garbage out and replace it with a different label printer. It will work completely fine at first and will do an amazing job at printing 600DPI at high speed. After 6 months usage with proper maintenance it no longer printed at top speed and only printed 1 label at a time before doing a quick printhead clean resulting in increase ink cost per label and reduced speed of 6 labels per minute, no worries the printer still worked so we kept using it. After 1 years usage it broke down on and epson refused to deal directly with us and made us jump through hoops to find a company that will service and fix it for us. The company Epson recommended had no idea why epson told us to get in touch with them and referred us on to another company, that company also had no idea as they didn't repair the machines, just sold them and recommended another company. Finally after 3 days of running around like a madman we found a company to repair and service our machine and we had to send it off to the USA. The total cost was just under $2000 including $350 shipping fee. Once we got the label printer back it had an error on the screen which basically wiped out any resale value it had but it printed again so we kept using it and sure enough within a few months it was to printing a single label at a time followed by a printhead clean. Once we hit 220,000 labels there was serious mechanical wear and the colors would not remained aligned resulting in labels having a double vision appearance. To fix this we had to realign the print heads before each print resulting in around 30+ labels being wasted before each print run. Fast forward 3 months and today the mechanical wear is that bad that it only stays aligned for 20 - 50 labels before it drifts off. Epson once again had no interest in helping us out and the support person was fairly rude and condescending resulting in me pulling the plug on epson and purchasing a different branded label printer. I would never recommend using Epson as the support is horrendous and you're treated like the dirt under their shoes, contrary to Epsons claims this isn't a heavy duty label printer as eventually the print heads wont remain aligned due to mechanical wear, the printhead isn't that great and doesn't survive for more than a year a half before you have blocked sections that will not unblock no matter how many cleaning cycles you do. When we add up the cost of the ink, labels and printer it would have been cheaper to have a professional printer do our labels for us. Purchase at your own risk.
