I went on the ghost tour in Yuma az years ago. We get to this apartment building and the guide is telling us all about how this one apartment is haunted. The person in the apartment opens her window and yells ive lived here 23 years and not a damn thing has happened
the funniest part of ghost hunters is when they replay a recorded message. its sounds like: " mmmmhhhaaaa ahhh" and in the subtitles they put like. "get out" ...did you hear that? lol
@Agent 99186 HAHAHA! Dude, I know. I actually only recently came to enjoy Joe Rogan, and I've been watching his podcast archives when I'm bored. But just like anything you hear on the web, you have to take it with a grain of salt. I think Joe Rogan himself would advise you to do that.
I went on a ghost hunt and I am interested in it but skeptical. After 3 hours of walking around a 600 year old country manor I decided to fake a ghost touching my hand. I said to the group “oh, it feels like a little kid just grabbed my hand.” The group of “sensitives” nearly pissed their pants. We ended up in a seance and this little girl that I made up contacted us. She liked me because I reminded her of a gardener that worked at the house that was kind to her. They were riffing all this bullshit based on my absolute lie. I was just about to admit my mis truth but as it was 3am in winter in England absolutely freezing I just left it to go home to bed.

I watched the one episode GA went to Dracula's castle, and one of their devices picked up someone talking in Romanian. The main guy was giving it large about 'could it be the voice of a tortured person?' I got a Romanian friend to watch it and the 'ghost' was a guy telling someone to put the knives and forks either side of the plate. From what I know, Count Dracula was never that concerned about his prisoners receiving proper silver service delivered by people with catering experience.
I believe in ghosts I have had my own experiences that I cannot explain. I also believe that ghost hunters started with good intentions but ended up being for entertainment. How they treated half the people on their “crew” was horrible. How they treated Brian was disgusting.
I don't expect anybody to believe it until they have seen it themselves. But I lived in a house where that stuff happened. One day I'm sitting in the living room and I hear someone in the bedroom next to me get up out of bed, open a drawer, walk around, walk into the bathroom, shut the door etc. I thought my cousin was in there. Turned out no one was in the room. And another time I set some stuff on the table and turned around and it was gone. Found it on the other side of the room on the floor. Nobody was in the room, no animal, no explanation. Other people witnessed similar things in that house. I guess the scary thing about it is just that it defies all logic. It seems physically impossible for stuff to just move, for example.
@@crazyalarmstudios2012 that’s always been my argument. When they’re going over the cases, it’s absolutely scripted, but idk what kind of fake show would end an episode with nothing happening
Ghost HUNTERS? Do you have any evidence to back that up? While I believe there are legit psychics, I know most, if not ALL, of the ones who try to use it for personal gain are full of shit or outright con artists. Far as I can tell it's more like creative inspiration, you can't just turn it on and off when you want. Ghost Hunting groups are nothing like "professional" psychics. So make damn sure you aren't conflating the two.
Even as a child I knew those ghost hunter shows were fake but they were an entertaining watch, especially at night. It was fun to at least pretend it was real. I'm not sure if I really believe in the paranormal but there is a part of me that wants paranormal stuff to be real.

I worked at a restaurant and was there either really early or really late. Whenever cars would pass by, it would seen like there was shadow figured in door ways. It was light reflecting off the walls.
Me and a friend were in my house one night smoking and the conversation came up about how I think my house is haunted.. so we went to the living room (the room I believe to have the highest possibility of activity) and I started calling out the cliche “if anybody is in here make a noise”. Mind you there was absolutely no wind or air movement whatsoever, so after several attempts nothing happened but as soon as I took a more provocative approach “quit bein a p**** and show yourself”, literally ONE SECOND later the lattice covering on the door that leads outside which had been stationary for over 15 years, gets rage yanked off the wall with serious force almost bringing the whole curtain setting down. Something I’ll never forget, and to this day I still can’t explain. I agree with ghost hunter shows being bs, but what I saw was the real deal

We lived in a haunted area/house for 17 years. Good news, it was a happy haunting. As a prior “speakeasy” in the country during prohibition, our pets would suddenly get jumpy, stare at nothing, we’d take a photo and there was always an orb/ usually multiple orbs they were reacting to..eventually in the wee hours we started hearing vague “party noises” bottles/glasses, old time music and chatter / party talking noises. In the middle of the countryside, no other explanation. And both of us eventually hearing it. Occasionally getting overwhelming but brief tobacco smells. Normally, as a scaredy cat person I would have moved out in a heartbeat, but oddly was never scared, just curious and what more likely place would a spirit return to but where it had fun? Lol
We lived in a house built along a river, out in the sticks so to speak The original section of the house was around 100yrs old and had been added to over the years. Every night, after every one was in bed sleeping, I heard the sounds of a dinner party...the silver ware clinking on plates, fireplace crackling, muffled footsteps and the low murmer of conversation. At first it scared the heck out of me, but one night I had the courage to go look..as soon as I rounded the corner, the sounds stopped and of course there was nothing there. Got back in bed, and it started again. Got used to it, eventually. We were on a large plot of land, with a long driveway, off of a side street which few people drove. I used to catch sight of an older, kind of hunched backed man, wearing a light blue button up shirt, walking outside close to the house and around the corner to the back of the house. I ran outside and no one was there, no unknown car, nothing. Next time I saw him, I raced to the big sliding window watching for him...nothing. I learned a couple years after we had moved, that other family members had saw the same thing. My oldest daughter insisted her room, was haunted. No one ever said anything at the time. Never had experienced that kind of thing before, and now, 12 years later, haven't experienced anything like that since.
Those ‘ghost hunters’ are scams. My husband and I lived in an actual haunted house. I never believed in ghosts, but after 2 years living with a ghost or whatever, I was convinced. I couldn’t prove that a mouse took the knives and stuck them 6 feet high into the wall, within a 3 minute time frame.

Its not really about superstitions at least for me. Its the idea of living somewhere and knowing a little kid was violently killed in your living room or bedroom or whatever. Someone dying from natural causes isnt a huge deal to most people but a violent murder some might not mind but if a kid is murdered most might have a problem.

I had a legit encounter with a Quija board 6 years ago in Fort Worth, TX. Me and my ex met this kid on the city bus. He invited us to come to his grandma's house, chill and smoke some herb. We went to the mini house in the backyard, behind the main house. There was the board on a table. I lightly placed 2 fingers on the planchette. So did my ex. We said prayers of protection and asked if there was anyone who would like to speak with us. The planchette moved to 'yes'. I jokingly asked if "one day, will I rule the world?". The planchette quickly moved our fingers around the board spelling out, "You will rule in Hell." Me and my ex looked at eachother. Then I asked, "what is your name?" It spelled out 'Beelzebub'. We moved the planchette to 'goodbye' and verbally said goodbye, ending the session. I looked up the word Beelzebub. Its associated with the Canaanite God 'Baal'. The Abrahamic religions considered Beelzebub a major demon. He is described as holding a high place in Hell's hierarchy. He is said to have originated in the order of the Cherubim. He used to be an angel and was associated with the star Hesperus. He is among the 3 most prominent fallen angels, the other 2 being Lucifer and Leviathan. Beelzebub was a prince of the Seraphim, just below Lucifer. Beelzebub, along with Lucifer and Leviathan, were the first three angels to fall. He was responsible for a famous case of demon possession which occurred in Aix-en-Provence in 1611. Beelzebub was influential in Massachusetts, where his name came up repeatedly during the Salem witch trials. The Hebrews referred to Beelzebub as 'the prince of demons'. He is second in command in regards to the ruling of Hell.
In November of 1974, Ronald DeFeo Jr. slayed his entire family and inspire one of the greatest horror stories of all time, the Amityville murders. But no, nothing paranormal happened.

Years ago I stayed at the most haunted hotel in America. The crescent hotel in eureka springs Arkansas. Woke up in the middle of the night hearing tapping on the walls. My brother, my buddy and I went out onto the balcony and left the camcorder recording on the night stand in the dark. When we can back in the camera had been picked up and moved, now facing the alarm clock. In the reflection of the alarms clock you see a lit up figure walk by and then the camera turns a few seconds before we are entering the room again. We couldn’t believe it, we ran downstairs and showed the man at the front desk at 3:10 in the morning. He was like oh yeah! That’s Michael, the young boy who haunted the hotel for many years. The ghost hunters went there twice and caught something on camera both times. I’m a believer for sure!
The only thing that really convinces me of something is electronic voice phenomenon. It doesn't sink in on the shows because you weren't there so will always have doubts. But i was on a small local paranormal team for a while. When it's your equipment you bought (basic rca digital recorder from walmart), you were the only person operating it, when you were there and knew every person present during the recording session, when it was only you reviewing the recoeding, and you get responses to your questions. Clear, intelligent responses to your questions from a voice different than anyone present. Then and only then does it sink in that there's something intelligent there that you can't see. I'm not saying it's ghosts or dead people or demons or anything like that. I don't know who or what they are. But something intelligent is defiantly around us that we can't see.
@@bryanoliver4736 how many things in science were discovered on accident when experimenting on something completely different using specifically designed equipment? It happens. Scientist's are too afraid to experiment on such subjects because their name and livelihoods are directly tied to their work. Either that or they're too proud. There are a great many things in the universe that remain undiscovered. Sometime we may discover something that completely defies the laws of physics as we know it. I prefer to keep my mind open to the realm of possibility instead of black and white. In the grand scheme of things it wasn't very long ago when people thought lightning was created by gods. We probably believed that to be a diehard fact for a long time until it was discovered to be otherwise.
Problem with the paranormal is it falls into the supernatural realm. Not just the paranormal but anything supernatural to this day has not been testable with any kind of data. In all of history anything supernatural has not been backed up by logic or reasoning. That’s the reason why you don’t hear anybody in science supporting an afterlife. There is nothing that can be demonstrably testable. Not saying there isn’t paranormal (i’m not convinced there is an afterlife) but the evidence that we do have points us to believe paranormal ceases to exist.
I lived in a house on the reservation that was apparently built over a burial ground where they buried tribal criminals. To top it off my mom‘s husband had 14 siblings. They all lived in the house off and on while I was there. I would overhear them telling stories about their experiences seeing things and hearing things. They all had ghost stories to tell each other. I was about 10 years old at the time. Being 10 years old at the time this shit freaked me out. So even if my mind was going to play tricks on me this would’ve been the time for it to happen. Yet the whole time I lived there (around 8 years) I didn’t see shit. I realized at a really young age it was all bullshit. The thought of the paranormal or an afterlife has been embedded in the thoughts of mankind for thousands of years. Yet to this day there is no way to demonstrate the existence of either. Once again not saying they don’t exist but if they can’t be tested they can’t be demonstrated and therefore most likely don’t exist. The burden of proof lies on the person with the claim. So prove it and you my friend will get the Nobel prize.
I worked on Ted Bundy's grandmas house. I was asked if I found anything thing weird while working under the house. I said damage or what? I saw rat shit. He mentioned calling them once because he had thought he had found bone bits but it thankfully wasn't.
I thought the same way until I went to white hill mansion and stayed the night. Went back again a couple months later because I experienced something paranormal for the first time. Doesn’t mean it is ghosts, just unexplained .
We know next to nothing about this life, our death, consciousness, psychedelics and the universe as a whole. Yet, so many people are absolutely positive in this comment section, that ghosts/spirits/entities do not exist and the "paranormal" phenomenom is nothing more than a human's imagination. I think being aware of your minds deceptions and fallacies is important, but also keeping an open mind about any possibility is a more reasonable approach IMO.
It's far more healthy to be skeptical of extraordinary claims that lack extraordinary evidence then it is to just believe in every single thing everyone on the planet dreams up as explanations for things they don't understand. Also, saying we know next to nothing about life ... etc etc .... that's just blatantly incorrect ... read fucking science book, article, or whatever, on ANYTHING you listed ... just because YOU lack understanding about many things doesn't mean every one on the planet shares the same lack of knowledge.
@@Redbeardian A skeptical mind is very important. Its also important to recognize our fallacies, our conditioning, the tricks of our own minds and how easily we can be influenced in any given situation. However, there are age-old questions that remain unanswered. Care to explain the origin of our consciousness? Or, how about the origin of the Universe? Oh the big bang, right? But, thats just a theory, correct? At the end of the day, we do have science which is one thing thats reliabe, especially when it comes to matter in the Universe, but that too is limited to what we can observe, measure and test. To not remain open to endless possibilities of our existence and reality as we know it, is pure ignorance. However, I am not stating that we should co-sign every half-baked theory that John Doe comes up with on a heroic mushroom trip. But, I am saying that when a large aggregate of people have very similiar experiences and science dismisses those experiences without any logical or concrete explanation, thats when I see a problem that needs to be investigated more in depth. These examples that I mentioned in my previous comment, may include psychedelic states, higher states of consciousness in general, ghost/alien encounters and etc. A skeptical, but a questioning mind is the healthiest IMO. As Socrates said "The only true wisdom is knowing you know nothing".
@@dt089 "A skeptical, but a questioning mind is the healthiest IMO." Skeptical IS a questioning mind ... it's not a "but" situation. You aren't ACTUALLY talking about being open minded, though I don't doubt that you think you are. What you , and many people, don't seem to grasp is that observing and experiencing unfamiliar, unknown, things and then cruising right to a conclusion of ... I just saw a ghost ... or .. I just saw an alien spacecraft ... etc .etc is actually being CLOSE MINDED. People that do that are literally doing what you have lamented and using the flawed system of trying to match their experience to what they've heard other people conclude the experience to be. An object moves on it's own? Must be the "spirit" of a dead person with some reason that they haven't reached the afterlife .... right?!? WHY? .... WHY THE FUCK would that be even a hypothesis, let alone a "theory" (you should read what a scientific "theory" like big bang is, it's not a random guess) to explain seeing an object seemingly move on it's own?!? See a light moving around in the sky in a manner unusual compared to planes and helicopters? Hmmm .... must be an alien spacecraft from another planet .... again WHY?! How is it "healthy" to experience unknown baffling things and without any analysis ... just jump to some extraordinary conclusion? As to consciousness, origin of the universe, or many things ... again , I'll reiterate, look those topics up, get reading. There's tons of neuroscience, and cosmological, information out there if you're ACTUALLY curious. However, I suspect you actually aren't as I believe you are accidentally close minded, while thinking you are not, which makes it worse, and harder to figure out what is actually real, possible, likely, probable, and what is unknown.
There are also scientific studies that say other wise. Science is something that is constantly changing for things they understand and don't understand

Most "haunted houses" just have known repairs needed or old, retrofitted HVAC. I can't recall the exact physics, but in older homes retrofitted with early duct work, I believe it is often exposed and makes "ghostie noises". I can't find the article, but it is a strong predictor of people thinking their homes are haunted (the house is old which helps the person mentally to get there and the old home has the suspect HVAC). The remaining cases are largely people that experienced sleep paralysis (my friend had it 20 years ago and still believes it was a demon on his chest) or just crazy people or someone experiencing a momentary hallucination. Or people lying for attention.

Being an only child for the longest time, a ghost in the house sounded like new best friend potential.
Also why would a several hundred year old ghost be speaking in modern Romanian 🤔🤣

I like how they seem skeptical about ghost but they say "probably"...like they arent so sure.
Skeptical means that there’s doubt, so yeah “probably” technically means skeptical in this instance

As Socrates said "The only true wisdom is knowing you know nothing".
dt089 well said
@@dt089 "A skeptical, but a questioning mind is the healthiest IMO." Skeptical IS a questioning mind ... it's not a "but" situation.

There is a house in England that was supposedly the "Most Haunted House in England". They couldn't sell it (it was in the middle if nowhere to be fair). Someone bought it and put it on Air BnB as a Haunted house experience. I think he does quite well.
Something did happen at the Amityville Horror house, however the next owners of the home made up the entire story of it being haunted
Why would they do that?
@@Thirsty4stalin to sell a book and eventually a movie. It came out in a lawsuit years later where they admitted to making the whole story up over a bottle of wine one night.
Ouiji boards are no joke man. Gf and I used one once and a bunch of candles started going out around us. Weird but 3 weeks later some random lady from my brothers work who I still have never met or know her name, approached my brother stating I used a ouiji board and I need to get rid of it since I didn’t close it properly. He didn’t even know I used it. Weirdest moment in my life
Yo I'm andy I freaked out for a split second I wasnt paying attention lmao
I used to not believe in ghosts I wish I still didnt, there was a time if you told me you saw a ghost there would be nothing you could do or say that would convince me that you saw a ghost, but then I saw a ghost and it was such a tramatic event in my life that I cant even watch ghosts movies because it just freaks me out and when I saw the ghost I wasnt the only one that saw it, my friend I was with at the time also saw it but the thing that was really weird is we both saw something completely different. I saw some kind of whispy thing it was almost like a cloud inside the house and it was moving a lot it was kind of like a sheet torn to shreds and the wind blowing it really hard but it was see through and even though it was pitch black inside the house it was almost glowing and whitish but my friend said what he saw was a dark shadowy form just standing there and it just really blows my mind that we both saw something completly different.
Thats interesting. Really. I know nothing about ghost or really anythin' about the supernatural but the only thing I could possibly think on this is perhaps it reflects the energy you have. Meaning your friend has done alot more evil or bad things and never faced it just kept moving as for you. Maybe you havent done as much bad things but more good things?? Possibly why ya both saw different things. Idk
@@luckisntit7628 For some reason I did feel like the ghost was trying to scare us on purpose but who knows maybe it wasnt truely a ghost maybe some kind of energy that are minds picked up on for some reason.
I saw something like that at my parents house as a kid. Like a billowing vapor at the top of the hallway ceiling it freaked my dog out bad. Our hallway doors used to slam shut to when I was the only person home. Once my girlfriend (wife now) was over watching movies. The doors in the hallway kept slamming shut. And then opening and slamming shut again. She was like I thought you said nobody was home. I just gave her a long look and we decided to go to town to hang out instead.
(I never said shit about it to my parents because we had some issues, my mom years later started talking about seeing the same thing when we were over for Christmas)
After we got married we had an experience with a demon. Ghosts are baby shit I would take ghosts every day of the week over a demon. That was the worst 7 years of my life. This stuff made me stop being an atheist. Some things are just to terrifying and aggressively present to not change your perspective of life and the universe
@@anatomicallycorrectmuppets8180 I didn't think I would have any more paranormal experiences, I hoped it was a one time thing but years later I moved into a house straight out of nightmares. I only lived there a year but I'm still surprised I lived there that long but I had a problem with doors constantly opening and closing and so many things happened including being assaulted twice but I don't mention it very often because it just doesn't seem believable and if you don't believe in the paranormal you will just assume I'm lying.
I saw a documentary when I was in middle school about the Amytiville Horror and they talked about the murders, and towards the end they had either interviewed or showed an old interview with the murderer, asking him about the haunting, and I swear he got upset and basically said, and I'm paraphrasing: "I was on drugs back then man. I shot my family because I was all fucked up. All of that ghost shit wasn't real." And he also said something along the lines of Hollywood using the 'story' on the haunting to make money.
First phone call ever happened in Salem, Massachusetts in a restaurant that was formerly The Lyceum. It's now Turner Fishery but it doesn't change the fact that one of the most Earth shattering technological advances took place in this building?

A young man killed his whole family with a rifle while they were sleeping .. yes, something actually happened in the Amityville house
koss41 yeah but the haunting was all faked.

@@sheyshah2848 oh man do I agree. Kinda makes u wonder what else ppl blame on ghosts...I mean late night moans, footsteps, and sheets running through hallways, definitely a cover up.
There were real murders that happened.. The defeo family.
I was just gonna say the only thing that happened at the Amityville house was a guy killed his whole family. Not because the devil told him to or the house. The guy was very fond of a variety of drugs. And he was not mentally right to begin with....I worked with a woman who knew him...
I once went on a ghost hunt, it wasn't cheap. At one point when we were all silent one of the guides said " Listen can you hear that baby crying? ". My mate was sat in front of me and had gone to sleep, he was wheezing but they convinced everyone {except me} that it was a baby crying. They had two guys who were obvious plants to get everyone hyped up. Total scam!!!

Nope sorry they don't exist. Take that delusional shit elsewhere lol.
@Vince Veloce-
Just like yourself I was one of the biggest skeptics out there and thought people were full of shit until one night. I was over at a friends apartment. Looked up and started seeing a door starting to close all the way slowly by itself. The air was not on or anything. Then I went up to use his bathroom and when I got to the doorway I felt this energy, etc hit me like a ton of bricks. I also have some things in my apartment but know they are not out to get me so I leave them be. There is no reason to be afraid. The more scared you are the better chance of them getting to you. Take care my friend.

By and large, I mostly agree about the ghost hunting, yet the reason why people belittle others' paranormal experiences is because - they haven't really had any.
The fact that they only ever film at night in pitch darkness pretty much proves theyre fake. It makes no sense why you wouldn't search for ghosts during the day or at least turn the damn lights on.
These dudes seem cool man
Appearances can be deceiving.
There was one major murder in the Amityville house one of the kids the oldest son killed his whole family while they was sleeping face down
He left after doing so coming home with friends and acting like he didn't know he killed his whole family the oldest son admitted killing his whole family but the fact remains no one in the family put up a struggle and they was all dead face down in there beds
He used a two shot rifle and no one put up a fight
Well turns out the family that moved in cooked the haunting story up with the help of Ed and Lorraine to sell books
Yet Rogan has told Alex Jones that he takes DMT with his buddies and communicates with paranormal entities. Don’t call the kettle black Joey.
