fuck, I love this song. used to watch it on muchmusic back in the day. actually MUCH was a lot of fun to watch. the hosts were cool (master T! rick the temp! sook yin lee!) and they had a lot intimate concerts/interviews with all of the artists that would come through. ah to be young again, the 90's was such a different time..
this takes me back to high school, i remember seeing gob at the civic center for the coffee jam shows and them coming to by our school to sell their albums lol
Haha rad, Langley civic center aka George Preston. I remember these dudes handing out flyers at my high school to come to their shows when this song came out. Gob rocks
Wow...I saw all these Gob videos on Muchmusic back in the 90s as a kid, (in NY), and I would race to tape them with my VHS recorder. Awesome to see your collection of other videos too, i've never seen before! I love that you shot them on 16mm, they really still look amazing and special today!
MuchMusic, actually, always sucked. It's based on MTV, which, from the very first song, has had the highest aspirations for world-class suckage. Imagine if "Video Killed The Radio Star" was played and recorded without a huge amount of studio finesse? It would have thoroughly sucked!
Gob went alternative rock after their first 2 albums, NOFX has been hardcore punk and punk rock for 12 albums, and about a million EP's. I love gob, and i love nofx, but i don't think they're alike
back when gob were actually decent, their first albums are fine, Too Late No Friends, Ass Seen On Tv and How Far The Shallow Takes You, after that they changed direction and were rather uneven, I guess they knew they couldn't top How Far The Shallow Takes You and changed musical direction
2023 baby!!! I saw these guys live when i was 14 i am 38 now
The love of Canadian punk music and reliving my teenage years has sent me here!

One of the first Gob videos I caught on MuchMusic way back in the day. So good to see it again.
This and soda were two of my faves at the time, fun video and great tunes. Muchmusic used to be a big part of our lives!

There's something so nostalgic about listening to Gob. I guess it takes me back to my late teenage years.

Too late no friends was their second album
