Broken-Tile Mosaic Shower Floor & Mosaic Shower Wall Repairs in our Skoolie

- We used broken stone tiles (instead of ceramic dishes) for the floor of our shower, and repaired a few of the loose tiles in our shower wall mosaic. The stone tiles were easy to find and cheap to buy, but a little bit hard to break! Kerry had to prop them up on a rock and then hit them with a hammer to make the pieces small enough to work right. Kerry also created a red starfish out of a broken dinner plate as part of the "ocean floor."
There were also some loose mosaic tiles in part of the shower walls, so we made sure to re-adhere each piece back in place with thinset, so the whole shower will be ready for grout... in our next episode!

About Us:
Hi! We are Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We're building a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible! In other words, Bussy will not be parked in our driveway, waiting for weekend or holiday getaways... when we finish the build, we'll be packing everything we're keeping into the bus and driving away from this old house forever!
We plan to be boondocking the majority of the time, so you'll see that reflected in our choices throughout the build (100 gallon water tank, composting toilet, solar power system, etc). We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, throughout the Skoolie Build, and to Infinite Adventures Beyond!
