Featuring Morissette’s iconic songs including “Ironic,” “You Oughta Know,” and “Hand in My Pocket,” as well as newly written material, this “big-hearted musical that breaks the mold” (The New York Times) is directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Waitress, Pippin), with music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal) and movement direction and choreography by Olivier Award winner and frequent Beyoncé collaborator Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.

I liked the album and the musicians and the writing. It was fresh and made in a time in which music was still promoted and cherished in real-time. making plays of the topics is just plain limp and faceless. What's next TOOL: THE OPERA. David Byrne is touring with his bizarre, fragmented show. these "plays" just redefine and get heavily embellished albums. You have to if you're are going to fill 2 to 3 hours. And they are not linear. so what are you going to do? 13 short stories 57 minutes long (the album)? they were already defined previously and for Jagged Little Pill, quite clearly. Can't we listen to the album? The sad reality is the market for music in this age has withered. so we get a watered-down, pretentious musical of previously released awesomeness that couldn't even begin to touch a Morrisette live show in the nineties. Glad I saw her and lived in those times.
Saw it on Nov 16th. Really exceptional. The buzz coming out of the theatre was reminiscent of the the early buzz around Dear Evan Hansen.
Visited New York for the first time and went to see this show. It was more than amazing!! Loved every single second of it!
