Much higher shift points. That is basically what stock 6.2’s and 6.0’s shift points are 5700-5800 rpm. I think the 5.3 should shift at 5700-5800 rpm stock.

They might’ve done that on purpose so it doesn’t destroy transmission internals over time
@@southwestohiodashcam6838they did it to detune it so I was told. The police interceptor version shifts at 5700-5800 rpm.
