To people who are using higher-rarity operators as replacements; you can use Myrtle as the first vanguard, no enemies should get through to her and she will pay for Lee no problem.
This event is really sadge....
Myrtle is basically a sugar mommy for every Merchant Specialist

This stage is such a difficulty spike. I beat stages 1 to 7 with an underleveled B team I put together for fun, and at most they took me two tries.
But this one I can't handle even with my A team. Thanks for the guide! I'll try to find a support Lee asap.
Lee is like a boss here, holding all the small mobs back non-stop.
tried really hard to beat this stage with my standard team and it would just never work out, so i checked out your guide, made a different strategy utilising lee like you did and it magically worked :D thanks kyo

If you have mountain, you can change popukar with mountain s2m3 and he doesn't need medic to heal, so you can put the medic to the right side for extra healing, or you can change hibiscus with other ranged for extra damage, i put hilter lv50 E0 as the substitute hibiscus. For kross you can change it to blue poison for extra poison dmg.
This stage need lee for boss staling and achievment, if you already have the achievment and just doing farming you can change lee to ling if you have ling but don't have lee, but ling must be E2 with s3m3 module lv1.
How does ling helps? the dragon still get stunned no?
I had Kal'tsit to hold entire left lane and moved my sniper to right side, cus i didn't have leveled up ranged guards, so i used defender instead, but i neaded damage to take out golems
I had exia and Kalsit/Monster solo the left side. ez for those 3

Yes, he’s more useful than people realize. From what I’ve seen, the same people who just refuse to acknowledge it are the waifu hunters who are still salty from the ItW event lol. Glad to see fish man getting more attention.

the very first event i actually finished without any guides, and even got the trimmed by accident (i still dont know the requirement for the trimmed until watching this vid) yet here i am watching kyo's clear guides just to see what could have done to make it easier.
I accidentally got the trimmed medal as well lol
Using Lumen to un-stun your dudes works aswell. The boss has a pretty slow attack interval, slow enough to not deplete all of Lumen's charges before you can kill him
thank you a WHOLE bunch for this guide, your low-end guides are a must for me in like. nearly every event lol. i also just wanted to add for ppl who are like me and using higher-rarity replacements, spalter is able to replace popukar entirely, even without using her S3! (i did still use her S3, but she was handling it really well and didn't really need it). though i did also have skalter buffing her, so that likely played a role lol. (this is likely self-evident for many others, but i thought i'd note that single-target guards can also work with high enough atk!) (thanks again for your guides, they're a lifesaver :])

I was fortunate to get stable run for auto deploy on this stage, the thing is, on the next run prts somehow managed to get trimmed medal. Strangest shit in my entire dokutah career
Why you need autodeploy tho, this stage dont give any drops, and its 10 sanity only, so i assume 10 event currency drop too...

I actually did this with a mix of Suzurans 3rd skill for slow & healing, with also Saria & Shining for enough healing to keep everyone alive. Then used a mix of eyjafalla, Horn, Surtr & Ch'en to deal the damage, with exusai on the left side for the mobs. Though he kept stunning everyone through that which was a pain, definitely why this is a less stressful strategy you've come up with. Still used the resonance lines the way you did which was helpful. I'm just glad I finally got like 13 operators to Elite 2 level 20 since I only started playing around 6 months ago, which definitely made the event bosses a lot more doable.

Thanks for guide KyoStinV! Can you show a tactic without Lee? Since I'm a new player and I can't take a Elite 2 Lee as support (Cuz support units are adjusted based on my squad and I don't have any Elite 2..).
that's gonna be hard. in order to trim the medal, your operators must not get defeated or retreated. the boss has a stun skill, which will hinder whoever is blocking it. that's why Lee is used here, because he can bypass the stun with -5 dp.
theres nothing to farm in that map, just get him borrowed from the support unit.
If you cant borrow an E2 Lee then you probably should replace him with 2 blockers, have the boss stuck between 2 of whoever can survive his attacks, so when one gets stunned, the other one will keep blocking him.
The duration of the event is 2 weeks. You can just farm material first to elite 2 your operator. I recommend to elite 2 your 4* operator since they are really cheap.
The LE-6 map drops grindstones for Myrtle's E2 promotion. Farm those and then buy whatever XP/LMD you need from the event shop using the currency you got along the way.

Couldn't find a good Lee in my supports, but I did find a good Ebenholz. Had him bully boss at the top, and right side finished him off. Then dropped him on bottom middle, and he solo'd second phase. Trimmed medal and everything.
And now I'm sad.
Don't forget to give your (friend) Lee a nice drink after, he deserved to open the cold one with the boys.

Damn, i never thought of using lee for that annoying stun, lumen always came to my mind when dealing with those pesky stun.
But Kyo, I did have DP problems. It was impossible to get Mudrock, Ifrit and Passenger all out quickly enough... just kidding. The only bullshit part of that is the quality of this joke. Anyway, thanks for the help. This was an easy event but because of holiday stuff I can't really play often so you helped me save time futzing with my own strategies.

If your aoe guard keeps dying at the end bring an extra medic to put next to ansel when they fall to half health, pref Gaviel with second skill.

I knew it lee woud be abuseable on this boss. Any boss that can stun and only need 1 block, is a prime Lee abuse. Just like previous CC9.

I kinda challenged myself not to use E2 Lee, but I used 6 fast redeploys to rotate them when they get stunned + Chalter , and it worked, haha

It should be fairly easy to get Myrtle in headhunting. Just spam the DP recovery/vanguard tags as they come and she should pop up soon.

Phew. I only needed 2 medics. I had so much bullshit raw dps that it didn't matter.
I started this game 9 days ago and crawled my way through levels 1-7 with pain, guides and that one bonus operator you can borrow. But this. This is a bit too much...
I had to replan this whole stage with lee it was fun I had pudding in the center and Gladia in place of midnight, with Skadi in place of the AOE guard
the only lee in my support heroes isnt even elite 1.....

been following your content since Stulfera Navis, honestly speaking your strategy don't exactly work 100% of the time for me. like in LE 6, I had to put Lappland behind Popukar since somehow enemy manage to slip pass Popukar.

The Lee doesnt need to be from a friend, just get the support from a stranger. Refreshing the list a couple of times should be more than enough to find a Lee fit for this level.

Ended up clearing using a borrowed Ifrit, my E1 Surtr, and by letting him walk around once

For me, I just nuke the hell out of the boss with Amiya Guard, Ch'en and Irene
small brain like me just use brute force with nearlter, surtr, kaltsit, chalter and thorn.
and for trimmed medal. just kill the bos before he use the skill

Thank you for making this stage brainless even for low-end squad, Lord Kyo! You can replace Lee with Dreadnought Guard such as Nearl The Radiant Knight, but you need much stronger Medics and tankier operators (such as Thorns instead of Midnight, Kroos The Keen Glint or better instead of Kroos, and Specter or Blaze instead of Popukar, for Medics just E2 your Perfumer and unlock her Module to level 2 should suffice) if you want to get the trimmed medal but don't have/build Lee or you can't find Lee in your Support Unit. I've tried it after getting the trimmed medal, It will be much harder but worth to try lmao.
