- I've wanted this bag for more than a decade, and finally (I cant believe it) I HAVE IT! I've decided to go the vintage route in order to get this bag, and thankfully I found the perfect one in Fashionphile. It didn't come easy--it took me three tries before I got the exact one I was looking for.
For this vlog I shared my Chanel story: how long I wanted it, where I bought the bag, the blunders I've made when purchasing it, and my honest review. This includes WHAT'S IN MY BAG, modeling shots, and full description of the bag.

This made me laugh because I could relate. I think it was in 2006 when I started pining for a Chanel flap and like you, I was blown away by the price and couldn’t justify it. It was about $1500 at the time, if memory serves me right. Wages haven’t really gone up so had I known a Chanel flap would set me back about $4k now, I would’ve just jumped the gun back then. Love your bag!

The variety of textures in the *yutulux* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
I have a double sided flap bag similar to the “ double faced” bag you returned. They are actually rare and sought after. I have people offer to buy mine all the time, but it is not for sale. Congratulations on scoring a beautiful vintage Chanel! It is lovely! The vintage are actually better quality than the newer bags and the hardware doesn’t turn like the newer ones.

Also from what I’ve been watching and reading the vintage lambskin is just so easy to maintain, as opposed to the ones now. Apparently the quality has gone down to cut costs. I can totally relate! I’ve been wanting the palm springs mini but never could bring myself to buy it... I Finally did after buying multiple cheaper bags over the years and now I regret it! 😩... But the next bag I am eyeing is a vintage medium classic flap and I will buy it for sure now haha... Just waiting financially and for the perfect one not doing an impulse buy, trying to do my research first 😊
Dont settle! Just go for what you really want rather than buying 20 bags that wont live up to it! :)

I’m also the one that bought another bags instead of what I really wanted, like you said and it’s never ending. I bought more many and now still feeling like to have the one I wanted at first. One concern is if I buy the one I really wanted, I’m not sure it will end up my desire or not. Well, I better try to have the right one before and check myself feeling again. Isn’t it crazy?! We end up spending more because we try to satisfy what we really want with okay pieces that were not in love with. 😭😭😭 I have to tell you though, when I got my Chanel bag, I no longer have an urge to buy similar styles. So go for what you really want! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I found 2 choices, one was a vintage holo 3 with good condition and another one was holo 13 with a little bit stain on the front. Surely holo 3 was cheaper but I’m not sure how long it lasts because it’s quite old. Not easy to decide..🤔

I am turning 30 in October and wanted to have my first luxury designer handbag to spoil myself. I kept thinking of going for 2 lv bags (an alma pm in vernier leather and speedy b 25 mono) or a coloured chanel classic medium double flap.
After seeing the bags in store, I realized I was just "filling a gap" by buying 2 lv bags when I really want is a chanel! Unfortunately the colour I wanted is not sold in Australia... so I started looking at preloved sites. As fate would have it, I found a lilac chanel classic double flap medium in great condition 😊💜

Hi again. I think you can use a smaller wallet like the LV Rosalie Wallet (mine in Mono- works with my Gucci Super Mini), a card holder (mine in Hermes Calvi) and you can fit more like your essentials- lippie, brow pencil and your car keys..

The one I got although vintage has minimal scratches only. It’s 24K gold plated kasi when it’s vintage so it never fades.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one LYXBAG Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

Hi there! Prices vary depending on the condition of the bags. It can be the same bag but since they’re from different owners (preloved) they may have marks and signs of wear. My suggestion is to look closely at every photo and make the decision from there. ☺️☺️☺️☺️ Btw, it took me 3 tries to get the right bag so don’t make hasty decisions. ❤️

I really wanted a chanel medium flap bag and I saw one in brand new condition online. Hopefully I will see the bag soon. I hope I won't chicken out and just bite the bullet. I haven't bought a bag in over 2 years so maybe that will be my excuse to justify my longing. Like you said just buy it?
If you’ve been wanting it for so long and you have the budget for it, I say go for it. It will only get more expensive in time so there is no better time to buy than now. Imagine back in 2010 when I wanted the bag it was only P150k, now it’s P300k. That’s double the price in 10 years! 😳😳😳 yojgarganera

It was bought in Korea(2012) as a wedding gift but the wife never wore it as claimed. After a thorough check (did good research about it too) and in PERFECT condition, I was convinced that it was authentic especially that I viewed the bag(pawned) with the owner in a pawn shop here in Auckland, NZ. I paid 72% of the current price in AUD. We do not have Chanel here in NZ. I'm so glad to have watched your video after I saw the bag online as it gave me the push to just buy it. By the way, my husband's middle name is Misa from Cebu.

I finally pulled the trigger by buying my ultimate wish in my wishlist last month which was a rolex watch and it took me years as well to realized if I was just more focus enough by not buying less expensive things just to have a temporary aide for my so called “unrealistic dream” it would have be more practical to buy what’s your heart really desire than what’s your brain trying to justify because of the steep price tag... wishes do come true!
