Fantastic content as always Bino, I am so greatful for your clear teachings including all the details(cord length and type...), I especially when your knot videos include your experience or how it can be tied wrong, and how you developed what techniques suit you.
Is it just me, or is the VT less useful for smaller, or tight crowned trees? In the past, used it in larger more open crowned trees and found it to be very responsive and secure. However, as others have mentioned, the setback when footlocking the tail of my rope was sometimes a hindrance. Worse, it seems like I recall it would "birdcage," or open up when not under tension on the line. Especially in those tighter crowns. Slip city! I haven't used it in a while, as I am all ZigZag-ified at present! I use Bino vids to help instruct my new guys. Pretty envious of that Navigator, too!
I agree with your thoughts on the VT but I do no some guys that will not use anything else. It is true though what works best for you it what you like best. Nice thank you for using my videos' to show the new guys! Thank you I like it a lot!!!
Thanks Bino! Can you do a video about advancing your line in the tree from an MRS system with a Blake's hitch on a split tail? From short distances to 15-20 feet.
Another good video. Can you do a video about the hitch with the lowest setback? I have used the VT but it seems like I get a lot of setback, and it makes body thrusting harder
I just have to say it again. You are giving my so many good tips and instructions. Bino! You are outstanding.

Thank you!
4/3 VT works so smooth when descending it makes all that sit back slop worth it:)
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome instructions as usual. Thank you Bino!

Hi Bino!
Have you ever added a prussic, carabiner and pulley say 2 feet higher in the climbing line so you can pull down to go up with this system?
Yes
I was taught that the top leg is supposed to be captured underneath the bottom leg at the beginning, not overtop.. no?
Correct or it goes over over under etc before you make a wrap it does one on the way down over your first wrap.

He’s already got a video on that topic, take a look in his library of past videos, a lot of great content, cheers
Your welcome, yes I will keep it in mind!
