Kidney stones are no joking matter. Lucky for me, we've got some really good doctors here in Thailand and they got me fixed up. That was six months ago and I'm still getting my strength back, not all there, but I'm feeling sooooo much better now..... Thanks for the comment....
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Eddie. Been through kidney stones, too. First time I Went to the hospital after three days of little sleep. After they figured out what the problem was, they gave me a shot and I was out for 36 hours! Don’t know what they did or how they did it, but they got them broken and l later passed them. What a joy.. l have had two types of kidney stones: one caused by eating too many green leafy vegetables (salads!), the other was caused by dairy products. Seems I can’t win! Oh, and get used to drinking lots of water; it helps! Take care. Be well.
This was my second kidney stone as well. Passed the first one, that is an experience that will make your eyeballs pop open like Mary Feldmans for sure. This one, they did surgery on me and then kept stuff stuck up me for a week. That's what made me so weak.... Getting better now, it's just a slow process.....
You have accomplished more in building Paradise Gardens in a month than most people will in their entire lives constructing. It's okay to take a break. You are a shining example of hard work and have inspired many of us.
Every thing I do here is because I enjoy doing it. That is the secret to creating something others admire...... At least that sounds good, don't really know if it's true or not....🤔🤔
I'm actually feeling pretty good now and I couldn't have done it without my lovely wife Fon. She is by far the best person to walk into my life. But, a kidney stone is nothing to take lightly, they can really mess a person up and even kill you if you don't take care of it when the symptoms start. I fought getting to a doctor for maybe 6 or 7 months with the symptoms coming and going. I was pretty sure it was a kidney stone, but I had passed one in my early 30's so I felt like if I just let my body flush it out, I'd be okay... Wrong thing to do, the stone was to big to pass.... Lesson learned.... Thanks for the kind comment...
You know sis, I don't get a notice on every comment from my videos, so every once in a while, I'll go to my studio section on my UA-cam channel and thumb through the comments that I've missed.... Love you to sis and I'm slowly recovering from the kidney ordeal. I zapped me pretty bad, but with Fon taking care of me, I'll be just fine...... Keep watching my videos, how else are you going to know what is going on with me.... Oh yea, there's Facebook.....
It'll probably be another month before I go out on a day ride with the group, they will continue to do them until I get better. More video coming, I promise.....
When I get comments like this one, it really does make me feel good and glad I can do a video that people truly like. Thank you for this very nice comment......
Thats a positive silver lining then to have it addressed and be back out and on the mend! Take it easy and enjoy getting well and spending time with the family. Look forward to seeing you back at it and doing what you love on the bikes with friends once your better! 😎
Feeling much better every day. It may not be as long as I thought, just have to get things okayed by the wife, she runs things around here, not me.....🤔
Best of luck Eddie ! This may be too long a comment . I can understand what you have been going through . . My Dad who is 96 had Kidney and bladder stones last fall . In March he developed a Urinary Tract Infection . We took him to the ER . they basically said that he was an old man and we should take him to Hospice . We insisted no , so they put him on a 5 day antibiotic drip . He was getting some better then became constipated . I told them he needed a suppository , they said that was sexual harassment and refused . The exact minute of the last drop of of the I.V. dripped , they sent him to a nursing home . They said the same thing , Hospice . I said no , a suppository . Ether they did it , or I would , they gave him one . the next day he started eating , and hasn't stopped since then , the first of April . I quit my job in March and have been with him 24 hours a day since then . He still needs assistance to get up and stand with a walker , but for his age , and being nearly dead twice for lack of medical attention , he is doing much better . But i will probably have to be with him for several more months . I must say , that your family nurse is much more attractive than my Dad's nurse . Hope you are feeling better soon !
That's my lovely Thai wife Fon, she has taken suck good care of me and I'm starting to feel a lot better and stronger. Probably be out of riding for half of July also, but I've got a great wife, fantastic friends and I'll get back to the video grind when I can stay awake long enough to edit a video.... Thanks for the great comment. Good for me to hear things like this....
We just completed our first ride in over a month. I'm a bit sore after it, but I'm working on the editing of the video. It should be out in a few days and I'm pretty sure all of my viewers will be shocked at what happened on this ride.
My body is getting back together now. It really set me back about three months, but I'm almost back up to where I was and I've got some new stuff coming out I think you all will enjoy..... thanks for the comment and all the people who have wished me to get my health back. It's almost all the way back up.....
I enjoyed that retrospective, and it reminded me to go back further and watch some of your older videos as well. The evolution of El Diablo from it's humble beginnings to fierce dominator is especially interesting, with various changes and modifications tried and kept or rejected. Also the earlier ones about the work building Paradise Gardens and Thai culture. Looking forward to seeing you back in action in July.
I lost a few subscribers the past 8 months, but that's okay. Main thing is I'm getting healthy again and I'm still putting out content, just not as fast as I'd like to....
Good to see you up and about Eddie thanks for letting us all know you are improving!👍🍺
thanks for sharing ! wishing you the best brother from FL !

Take care man and be patient. You’ll be back on two wheels in no time.
Hey buddy. So glad you are on the mend. Take care. Don't rush back to riding. Life is long. All the best!

There might be those who want you to make vids no matter what but the real fans will want you to get better and stay no matter how long that takes.
I lost a few subscribers the past 8 months, but that's okay. Main thing is I'm getting healthy again and I'm still putting out content, just not as fast as I'd like to....

All good mate take care
Get well soon. Body detox and diet. Youll be up and riding soon.
I appreciate it, thank you......
Hope you're feeling better. If you look lemon juice and kidney stones on UA-cam it helps a lot.
I was always told that you could wash a kidney stone out with lots of beer. It doesn't work, I tried....
🙏
Thanks, I'm doing better....
Get some R & R..
Working on that now Richard, thanks for the support....
Absolutely love your content! Hope you recover soon mate!
