Wow! I have conducted a lot of orchestral recording sessions myself, and I have to say, that, especially concerning phrasing and performance aspects, this is extremely impressive! The one thing I would argue is a bit unrealistic, is the kind of sudden dynamic changes during melodic lines heard, for example, at around 1:15 min. These would have to be written in explicitly, and even then they are hard to pull off, and would probably not be as instant and sharp as they are in the mockup. But all in all this is great stuff!!
Oh, hello. Nice to meet you🙂 Your advice is deeply embedded in my mind. I will always think of your words!! The string always feels difficult. I've never played a string before. I think there's a lot of unrealistic things because it's just based on what I saw and heard. But I'll keep trying. Please come by and tell me a lot of things when you have time. I think I'll be happy then. Thank you so much for your words today. I will try harder. Thank you. Florian Angerer🙂👍🏻👍🏻
@@producerkanzi You are very welcome! I am also not a string player (pianist and singer by training), so I can't speak with authority about super technical things. But I think a good way to get into arranging for strings is to listen to a lot of orchestral music, to familiarize yourself with the kind of sounds, phrases, and textures, that are idiomatic for strings, and, if you can, get in touch with some string players. At least for me, that's how I got into orchestration. Having said that, the string writing here is, as far as I can tell from just listening, perfectly fine, and seems workable even for a live orchestra, at least nothing stood out to me as unplayable or super complicated. I'm actually just klicking through a bunch of your videos, and there is really some pretty good string writing in some of them.
Wow! Thank you so much! As soon as I reached 1,000 subscribers, you appeared! And you helped me a lot! I really think it's lucky! So I woke up really early this morning, too! To leave you a comment! That was very thoughtful of you! I actually arrange about one song a day. I am in Korea and I am making a kpop ballad. Because my skills are so low, I am constantly researching and listening and developing myself! I want to improve more! Thank you so much for your comments!
@@producerkanzi One arrangement per day?! That's very impressive! And I wouldn't say that your level of skill is low. Actually, these are some of the best demos for the sample modeling strings I've heard. I have used them myself a lot, and they are tricky to get to sound right, although I love their expressivity and the level of detail I can squeeze out of them. What do you do in terms of processing and room placement on the SM strings?
Hello! I only use DRY samples, so I set up REVERB and other effectors myself. And I also use the microphone distance setting.
Wow, I want to exchange a lot of information with you in the future
very real can i get the midi for example
ah~ heheheh hello! midi is for membership only so sorry!
Sounds good, what’s the size of the ensemble here ?
