the word used in the lyrics simply means map-case, or maybe a clipboard.
so, the star maps are inserted into map-cases/affixed to the clipboards. recently the word came to mean a tablet computer, hence the mistranslation.
far from prophetic, the line is actually kinda quaint, in a good way (like those futuristic postcards from around the turn of the century depicting people wearing the fashion of the day in the 2000's.)
the "Soviet mobile" is the LK-1, built by one Leonid Kupriyanovich. It wasn't a cellphone proper, more like a long-range radio telephone, i.e. two-way radio with a portable set and a base station that could dial into the phone network.

This is such a beautiful song, and it gives me nostalgia for my space travel obsession growing up, a wanderlust for future human travel, and a hope that we may finally reach other stars by sheer human curiosity and determination (and not for the private interests of CEOs and profiteers). It is for this reason that Yuri Gagarin is up on my wall, surrounded by the words; "to the Soviet people who pioneer the cosmos, glory!", proudly holding high the hammer and sickle.

Leaving ideologies to the side. It really is a powerful song and it fits just the level of achievement that it was putting a man in space for the first time. We started as caveman and we ended up breaking the barrier to the stars. It's really amazing what we've been able to achieve.

We are yet to achieve big things. Before that, though, international relations need to be normalized and only get better and better. Because, fear of conflict will forever haunt us like a snake; among many other things. After that, we are to normalize global clinate and revolutionize the thinking of people's around the world. We don't need to wait to do all of that, we only need ambition to do it which would be present worldwide and stick inside the minds of bilions of people - just like we have managed to stick many other things inside. People need to look forward and be able to do so. Only this path can lead us to a peaceful arrival of our great presence on other objects in our own system, after which; if the human developement goes beyond what we have ever known and beyond we thought it can; we can explore and colonize many others stars and their respective systems. It's a game which would never end, and which would be in favour of longetivity which needs to be present in a long history that is yet to come.

    Hello to all!
I'm Russian, and I want to clarify.
Firstly, this is not the hymn of the Soviet space program. The anthem of the Russian space program since 2009 is a completely different song. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grass_by_the_Home. Before - no any anthem for space program.
Secondly, to call a hymn a song only because it is sincere close and popular to people - is wrong. Otherwise, we'll have to name the song "Was wollen wir trinken" anthem of the tableful
Thirdly, the song in the video is really an incredibly popular song. This song absorbed all the dreams and hopes of Soviet people about future. But at the same time it is not attached to the nation, it's really a song of Earthlings, not Russians or Americans. Such a sense of self, really characteristic of Soviet culture - the feeling of being citizens of the whole world.

On the one hand the bureaucracy was extremely parasitic, on the other hand the abolition of capitalist accumulation allowed for decades of human progress and life improvement that wasn‘t possible before or since. Even under Stalin, arguably the least pleasant time to live in the USSR, average life expectancy doubled.
The Soviet Union failed because of the isolation and devastation it suffered during its foundational period. Due to the world market, socialism in on country is not possible. Long-term success would have required successful revolutions in leading imperialist countries, especially Germany. But those never succeeded due to the mistakes of the leadership.

    Как по дорогам звёздным
    Вели мы первый путь,
    Как первыми сумели
    Достичь заветной цели,
    И на родную Землю
    Со стороны взглянуть.

Dr. Merkwürdigliebe Well, the USSR was also the first on the moon with Luna II, and first on Mars, Venus and some other planets. We also were the first to take a photo of most of the planets in our solar system with satelites. Also first to photo the dark side of the moon, which is a big deal. Also, we were the first to spacedock and even spacewalk. We won the spacerace.

Firm winners of the space race, this anthem is one of the best and the lyrics indicate such strength and determination.

Yo creo ,amigos, que la caravana de cohetes

    Space maps downloaded into tablets
And the navigator specifies the route for the last time
    Come on, guys
    Sing before the start
    We still have fourteen minutes
    Refrain:
I believe, friends, Caravans of Rockets
Will rush forward from star to star
On the dusty paths, the distant planets
    Remains our tracks
On the dusty paths, the distant planets
    Remains our tracks
Someday with the years, I remember with my friends
As on the roads of the stars, we were the first way,
As the first to manage, reach the cherished goal,
And to my native land, from the side to look
    Refrain
For a long time we are expected, the distant planets,
    The cold planets
    Silent fields
But not a single planet, do not wait for us like this,
The planet is expansive, by the name of the Earth
