Hey Darin, thanks for the video. I've watched a bunch of your grilling videos and really appreciated your perspectives. Was pleasantly surprised when I saw these travel videos. Thanks! We've been on several MSC cruises in the past couple of years and have always enjoyed them. We're going on Seashore next week and looking forward to it. Best wishes!
Thanks for the insight! My family and I are cruising in June. I’m looking forward to seeing how they will continue to improve the experience. We typically go Carnival so we’ll sea (pun intended).
Thank you for doing this video. What site did you find the list that shows which experience gives you what? I am not sure if I am going to have a hard time on this ship as it seems as though everything is visual (I am blind in one eye and can't see out the other lol)
it is on the MSC website.. If you are interested in booking a cruise let me know and I can help you get the best deal on the best ship and experience! www.msccruisesusa.com/cruise/experiences-staterooms
it really depends on the category you want to bid on.. they will give you a minimum amount they will accept (ours was $300 total for an upgrade to an Aurea Balcony over a Fantastica Balcony) and the counter offer they gave us for the Premium Suite with Whirlpool was $450..
@@dabullali5980 did you get an upgrade email? if you did, did you bid and was it accepted? if they accepted it you should be good to go, you may have to make sure if you were upgraded to a different class like Aurea from Fantastica that you check at the customer service desk to make sure they upgrade you on the ship.. We had to do that but it was easy..
only took us about 30 minutes... we were told to be in the "Brooklyn Lounge" by 8:30am.. We were off the boat by 9am. You can option for self-assist and get off earlier by taking your own bags..
*UPDATE!!* The Muster Drill has been changed since May 2024 making it MUCH easier!

Oh, and we ALMOST got that hot tub room, but opted for the Aurea suite on the aft of the ship instead. What the wife wanted. Oh well, maybe next time.
yeah, aft suites are cool also!
yeah, we have cruised on Carnival, Princess, Royal, and NCL and MSC is OK, Just has some differences. We will try out the Yacht Club next I think.
Thanks for this video, Good review. Iiked your video on the food too!
Thanks for watching! We have more videos coming out from our travels!

Our pleasure!
Can I upgrade to Aurea if I’m not in a suite? I cruise a lot and am really enjoying your review.
MSC does have a limited number of regular Balcony cabins that are also under the Aurea class..

@@FireandWaterTravel Thank you for your kind offer but our cruise is already booked and paid for in May.
How much more can I expect for an upgrade

@@FireandWaterTravel was that per cabin
@@mskimmie316 yes... we only had one cabin.. they will break it down per 1st and 2nd passenger though, so $150 each = $300
Explain this iam goin next week on msc
