Sorry but I dont understand why he plans to do quad toe -Euler -triple flip series? In this combination is not it calculate %80 of quad toeloop? On the other hand quad toelop -triple toelop he can take +3 goe and very big score.
It's a jump combination just like a 4T-3T. You're mistaking a 4T-Eu-3F for a 4T-3A, which DOES only count for 80% (which is a weird rule btw...anyone capable of doing a 3A after a 4T shouldn't be punished for it). Nathan's 4T-Eu-3F gets 100% of its base value.
I guess he just wants to change things up. 4T-Eu-3F will actually scores higher than 4T3T if they are both done in bonus time frame. I am sure he already planned it out so if he executes his program perfectly, his technical score will improve over his record last year of 216 in the FS.
That's a sequence not a combo. 4TEu3F gets full value and is much higher than a 4T3T without wasting the toe combo which he needs if he was gonna repeat 3A

He can't repeat the 3T since he's repeating the 3A, and he starts with a 3Lz3T
