I have a serious question I hope you can help me with I just picked up a 1994 Polaris Indy XLT 600 now needing to rebuild the top end and I was wondering all the stuff I'm looking up is that classified as the 580 piston kit

Nice find... I use cheap a$$ tire shine for all black faded plastic.. Works amazing on rejuvenating some deep black and shine .. Cheaper the better

That thing is acting like mine when my crank seals were bad. Also the pump is a bit noisy. Keep an ear out on the sound if it gets worse

Looks like it has a riser on it. Might be why your high idleing if it doesnt have an extension or was routed shitty

We got three ultra‘s rmks and they don’t idle anything close to that that is way too high
Pro tip lube the water pump it takes oil.

It’s supposed to idle like that
It going run high rmp when it first warms up I own the same sled
3 grand is too high for just warming up
Crank seal maybe but hope not lol
My XLT did the same when seal was no good. Try spraying WD-40 or carb cleaner on the clutch side crank seal
