I’m a big harpsichord fan….studied it at the music college way back when! This week I’m following a ‘rescued’ harpsichord for sale on eBay……just have to persuade hubby to drive 6 hours to get it if I win it😂😂😂. Fab Bach performance♥️
Amazing performance! Do you ever think you could do Sunny Choi’s rendition of “Just Give Me a Reason” by Pink? Thanks! Also a huge fan of you covering Terrance Shider’s Take 5
Thanks! The Take 5 is made from a computer MIDI playback, not my cover though. As for your request, I'd have to ask for permission from Sunny Choi first. (Didn't really have her permission for her Walking Towards You though.) Still, not anytime soon, sorry
To each their own, I enjoy the sound of the harpsichord for some pieces, the piano for others, and the organ for others still. I do love the warm tones of a harpsichord.
@@TheFlamingPiano It seems to be the consensus that 415 is the "baroque" tuning. But we really don't know. We don't even know what temperament the WTC was written in/for.
@@DangerRussDayZ6533 Agree, mainly for baroque keyboard pieces. Most are made for harpsichord anyway. And true, that's what I meant about the A=415. Isn't WTC meant for well temperament or maybe Werckmeister III?
For the prelude, I based the style off Masaaki Suzuki's cover. For the fugue, Guillermo Brachetta's at least for the ornaments. What do you think?
So great share dear friend.
Your piano performance is so great always.
Full view and big like.
I wish you a happy Sunday...👍👍
Thank you for the performance. I watched that with pleasure.

Awesome, a real harpsichord! Must be such an experience. Baroque music is so much better on it! Thanks for listening!
How cool is the harpsichord sound 🤩

Excellent choice of piece. Not a fan of the harpsichord. Historically accurate? Yes. Does it sound as nice as a piano? No.
Honestly not sure if the A=415 Hz really is historically accurate though, but thanks! The harpsichord does give it the baroque vibe for sure.
