I remember the town centre being so busy that dodging in and out of people on dalton road was the norm.i remember a busy road where it’s now pedestrianised.I remember Portland walk being constructed and I remember burrows being where it is today. Barrow had put all its eggs in one basket with vickers.I wonder if the town will ever bounce back?
