Disgusting.... I will never go on safari in a land or Park that allows this to go on. I have gone many times in Kenya and South Africa (Madikwe)... Also note that Kruger National park should be boycotted as they allow people to drive around in their cars and do ignorant traumatizing thing like this. This is barbaric. boycott these places until they change the rules and abide by them.

Only when a tourist gets killed and reported worldwide will someone take note. Encroachment by farmers leave some with trunks blown off to starve. Cant these creatures have any peace even in their supposed sanctuaries?. I hope the Govt takes note and not put profit before conservation and so should tourists wishing to visit Lanka. They should ask how many there were 20 years ago and now remain for these are our islands treasures. As a Lankan Im ashamed
