- Minecraft Legends is the new Minecraft spin-off game from Mojang Studios and Blackbird Interactive! In this 'Action Strategy' game, players rally mobs from the overworld to face off against the Piglin Horde (and sometimes each other), save the world, and become a legend!
In this video the Piglins unleash the next phase of their plan - darkening the skies of the Overworld with a sinister "Night Beacon"! We counterattack by learning how to build a Wellspring we can respawn at, gathering Mossy Golems and Grindstone Golems, then recruit Creepers, Zombies, and Skeletons to our cause as we take on the Piglin base.
With that done, the campaign becomes open-world, and we explore for resources and meet our first new mount!

Minecraft Legends launches on April 18th, 2023 on Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, Windows, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.

That cutscene with them darkening the sun really is such a twist!! I saw it earlier in Pearlescentmoon's video, and she said that the story is that it was actually always day before this happened, the moon that appears at the end was a sun before, and from what one of the characters said at the end about this being the "first dawn" I think that was the right interpretation! If so, it's so so cool, I've played one or two games where the tutorial takes place entirely in daylight and then there's a regular day/night cycle for the rest of the game, but I would never expect a game to actually make that part of the story!
So the piglins pretty much did /gamerule dodaylightcylce true. I guess this also proves commands are also part of the lore somewhere.
@@Kalion-mi1zc I wouldn't stretch it THAT much, it's more akin to how Beds seemingly immediately makes it day.
@@user-tzzglsstle585e38 I was going to argue that was sleep, but due to multiplayer & the sleep gamerule, I can't actually fight this, it's also quite hard as we have no clue what space is in minecraft, only that everything we can see orbits the world we're on.
@@Kalion-mi1zc Sort of? I'd imagine it's more closer to just using their Piglin magic to create darkness/ the Night. It'd be like if Mojang added a special block that basically, well, does "/gamerule Dodaylightcycle true/false" when activated so you can change the Day/Night Cycle even in a world without commands.
@@TheEpicGalaxy21 more like Heart of Ender magic.....cause after all the Piglin Seer does use the Orb of Dominance to create the Night Beacon
I love how many different kinds of Piglins there are in this game! It's amazing coming from a game that just has Piglins, brutes, zombified piglins, and hoglins (if you even count those).
Actually, minecraft legends and nether update (1.16) were developed at the same time and both teams cooperated.
I always thought Warped Piglin Zombies would be cool. Now I want to see more Piglin Sorcerers and Obsidian Kings.
I love all the different Golems, Piglins, and the Aspects themselves; Knowledge, Action, and Foresight. Makes me think there are probably OTHER aspects too.
I honestly find this game really fun to watch, quite the opposite of what i expected! And obviously pix's commentary just adds a cherry on top :D
I can tell this video was recorded before the last one. It's neat watching him learn about things like the trees in the savanna that count as stone (which is such a cool detail!).

If I had a penny every time I saw an animation of a group of Pigmen launching an assault on the Overworld and then moving to a secret meeting room where one runt brings in a powerful item related to the beacon which was used to make a powerful weapon for the invading Pigmen to use against the Overworld... I'd have two pennies

This game is so different to what I was expecting, but Pix has adapted so well to playing it masterfully!! It's so impressive!!!

The mossy golems are good to have on your squad. They act like medics for you & the other golems/mobs

Yo dude I always watched your survival guide videos. It was a habit and I enjoyed it a loooot. I have no idea how but I ended up completely forgetting about you (I stopped playing minecraft) around 3 years ago. It really feels like yesterday and that's why I'm quite shook by this. 6:22 Is that the Orb of Dominance from Dungeons?
We need some of these spawners in vanilla Minecraft. I can see a multiplayer server with people spawning everything from mossy golems to creepers and having mini matches with other players, all while in survivor. Also, Mojang should implement the functionality of these alays in vanilla Minecraft. It would be nice to be able to just tell them to build this or that structure.
Interesting the pigling portals generated in a different place than mine. I assumed they were in fixed places
Are Knowledge, Foresight and Action Cullens? They spark in the sunlight but I don't see them always sparking....

I just played today and stopped at the night beacon, and let's all be honest here:
-Orb of dominance from mc dungeons is in legends.
-Orb of dominance corrupted a beacon
-Night beacon is therefore corrupted beacon from mc dungeons.
Is there a link between legends and dungeons? I think so!
All three Minecraft games take place in same Universe, just at different points of time

Tried out this game myself bc I was super hyped over it, got softlocked in the campaign bc the piglin base with the portal spawned above build height with the 4 ramps that were already there being either broken or haveing huge chunks of the terrain sticking through the middle and blocking them. Had to go back to this video to figure out what I was doing wrong but no, it was just the random terrain generation :/ Multiplayer matchmaking is also extremely broken unless you only play in large private lobbies (not really realistic for the average person). I mean I already have 2.1 hours on it on steam so i'm not feeling too good about my chances of a refund, but either way at least watching *other people* play it is still fun (and I will continue doing so, love the vids dude). Wouldn't recommend people buy it though.

I came here to make sure i wasnt crazy. Game hard locked me at the first night beacon. No gates spawned to actually get passed the walls and i cant build ramps over the walls. Not to mention it spawned in the middle of a lake so it was impossible to build a ramp over the lava either.
I'm really enjoying the game so far, but I'm 100% with whip and grain about the ui needing some serious work.

Corrupted beacon and the orb of dominance?
Can someone give me a fix? Mc legends keeps turning black then It crashes (and yes my pc meets the requirements to run the game)
It doesn’t even spawn the staircase
Anyone play this on Xbox? For some reason I spawn in front of a large moat of lava and I can’t build down at all, idk if I’m doing anything wrong or I’m just stupid but I’ve spent an hr trying to figure it out, if you know please help me

Don't particularly get what the connection with MineCraft is beyond the looks. I hope this doesn't eat into the main game.

It’s a Minecraft game, it *is* made for 12 year olds. The game is rated for ages 10+.
Dialogue volume is in the audio settings, and is separate from cinematic volume, so it won’t mute them during the cut scenes.
