Love family grocery time lol. I make smash burgers for my kiddos all the time. Then I fancy mine up and add an egg and kimchi on my burger. Sooooo good,

You can reuse cheesecloth or use coffee filter or just a mesh strainer. My trick for crispy fries is cook on low until half cooked stir little then turn on high.

I started straining used oil through kitchen roll in a funnel into my glass oil jug and it catches any bits and then goes into the bin. So I reuse my roasting/frying oil all the time now and it’s always clean. I do only use it for potatoes, vegetables and egg though, I don’t fry or roast anything else in oil. ❤

I love making my cheese burgers with 2 thin grass fed ground beef “smash burger style”. I liked buying Franz bread because it’s local there to Portland, and Tillamook shark cheddar (local as well)
Season patties with the Asian chicken seasoning, sugar, black pepper, pink Himalayan salt, granulated garlic.

You wash produce before eating so why create more waste with using single use plastic, or even if they are compostable bags it is still wasteful when you are just taking the fruits and veggies home to be washed anyway.

@@Alex-sb4op Because the carts are filthy and simply washing the fruits and veggies might not get rid of all the germs. Also, the produce bags are recyclable. To each their own, but I was curious of Benji's reason.

I grow vegetables in animal manure, does it get more dirty than that? Washing shall suffice. Recycling still produces waste. @@LifeNewJourney

I don’t think it’s safe for Leah to ride on the edge of the cart like that. If she fell accidentally while it was rolling, the impact to the ground could do real damage, even if it’s rolling slowly.
