Simply not true. How do you think con artists succeed? We had people at work who lied all the time about everything so our team learned to mistrust everyone and check everything they said. It's people who, are, in essence, honest and who feel pushed into making a comment that they don't think they can fully justify who struggle to look you in the face. Johnson, Sunak, and most Tories of the current era are all experienced con artists who lie all the time about everything. As far as ULEZ consultation and most consultations are concerned, they are to get information, not to make decisions. There should be no reason to conceal the results, rather a clear explanation of why you will press ahead with a project while addressing the points against. Almost all progress is resisted and only goes ahead against the majority view. ULEZ only marginally affects me but it should have expanded across all London from the start as just the first step of modernising London to compete with the likes of Singapore.

I am utterly appalled by the introduction of not only the congestion charge that was supposed to revert to previous levels after COVID but additionally the imposition of the ULEZ tax, that's going to impact poorer members of society disproportionately in relation to the better off people within London and the surrounding areas. But what's never mentioned is the impact on employment this is going to have. We are not only faced with ULEZ, but clean air zones and streets one can't go into without being taxed. Now we have a truly authoritarian state. One the western world always said would never happen here. It's here now right in front of us.
They have gone against over 60% of Londoners who voted them in guess what you don't have my support anymore.

The whole injustice about all these schemes is, if you have money, they make no difference to your travel behaviour. The only people it affects are the less well off, lower wage workers that London needs because they can’t afford to live near their work and have to travel in each day.
He has failed in his commitment to make London a safer place to live and travel within. Stabbings and crime stats are appalling. Tube and bus fares are ridiculously higher than other major capital cities in Europe. He is certainly not the leading light that he believes himself to be. 😡
That's because the government and preceding governments cut funding for public transport now it it zero. The other countries you talk about in Europe fund their public transport hence lower fares. Additionally most Train companies are foreign owned and the profits are funnelled back to their countries and fund their transport systems again hence their lower fares, British Rail was privatised under Thatcher her own cabinet were against it but she went ahead anyway. But yes Khan is a nasty piece of work.

Same happened with including older motorcycles pre 2007, the recommendation from TFL was they have little or no impact.. Sound reasons were given for this, Sadiq then ignored the report and instigated charging.. Turns out a Yamaha RD350 passed when the owner paid for the emissions test.. Kind of confirmed what TFL said, they don’t deserve to be charged.
He is a walking, talking monument to what you get when you decide it’s a good idea to ignore a person’s character and focus solely on their colour.
£200M to install cameras. Millions of vulnerable families to be ripped to shreds by this policy. And the scrappage scheme is an insult. If you’re rich, you will be able to buy a new car. If you’re not. Screw you. If you genuinely want to remove polluting vehicles from the roads, do it. And subsidise public transport. Instead of forcing people from the less affluent areas of London to find money to buy conforming vehicles.

The decision which he took were done very quickly and based on dodgy conclusions even though the report stated that there was no basis for claiming a reduction in pollution going forward as the reductions were more due to people not driving due to covid and fuel price increases.

Ridiculous how they keep charging money for their bonuses. Many problems in London as it is, cameras and fines if you go past a school at a certain time. Road works all the time where no one actually works, reduced help from the council with them getting rid of staff, no more yearly free permit tickets for guests who come to visit you, yet everything is still going up. Oh glass bottles on the road with shattered glass, people walking dogs leaving poo outside my house (happened many times), building block of flats all over as if it wasn't congested enough

I live in Bexley..It will have a massive effect on small businesses in the high street and shops around.. People from Kent and Kent areas will not pay ULEZ tolls to visit if this Tax is implemented.

@ Zee A320. The same Fiasco occurred in Newham when they decided to bring in their Borough wide residential parking zone under the pretext of Keep Newham Moving ! You now have to pay for your parking permit based on the Co2 emissions of your car and the previous year LBN raked in over £16m in pcn's and other charges.
I wonder how long it will be before they want to charge us for the air we breath.

This is the man that stated at C40 in October 2022 - “unvaccinated and climate deniers are a waste of space”, he and others also stated there would be punishments for non compliance. When quizzed on the punishment, the little snake ran off.
Why should you have to pay to enter London. If one is invited to dinner and the time crosses midnight it will cost at least £25. For someone to take a child to school would be £12.50 per day. This is supposedly that omissions of particular cars is not acceptable and yet likely they are lower then taxis and buses.
This is a total disgrace. The fact that he refuses to answer questions shows he is a deceiver or incompetent
