You could tell she was nervous. Tim Meadows did an exceptional job keeping her at ease, and that's why the skit worked as well as it did.

This is the first time I ever watched this. Monica's a pretty good actress. She's a good sport.
The audience is like shocked. This is way funnier and impactful than it got credit for.
It's even funnier over the years. Watching it now, it's even better than the first time.
Monica did a really good job acting in this skit, I was pretty surprised.
4:37- Monica says "Figures" and Tim SLIGHTLY breaks character and laughs due to how cold her delivery was. Tripp was supposed to be her damn friend.

Monica became a somewhat beloved personality at the end of the 90s after becoming the victim. Linda Tripp was tarred and feathered and became the most hated woman in America at decades end, with help from John Goodman.
Tim Meadows was hilarious as the Ladies Man, the movie was really funny.
I like that SNL gave Monica the chance- To let us see- that she okay taking it with humor. She is a beautiful lady... doing well. Congratulations!!!

They destroyed her in the media. She was a 19 year old who was taken advantage of by a grown man, who was in the ultimate position of authority. I'm not a huge Clinton basher, but it is what it is. If your boss is the president and he coerces you into doing something when you're 19, you've got 2 choices: Do it, or possibly have your life ruined. Why Monica Lewinsky was slut shamed for that is beyond me. He was in the position of power, not her. I'm a guy saying this. We don't take responsibility for anything.

I was not ready for that pic of Goodman.... my whiskey ended up everywhere except down my throat... and I'm not even certain myself if I was laughing or screaming in complete fear of that pic somehow coming to life and climbing out my monitor. Goodman is a god as far as acting and comedy goes, in my opinion, but goddamn I was not ready for this....
Tim Meadows is an incredibly underappreciated actor. he's in comedies and shit so it gets over looked but he's a master at his craft

I watched a interview of Lewinsky and she said her parents worried she became suicidal.. It was quite heart breaking how she was treated.. My heart really goes out to her.. She was used in ways unimaginable..

Meadows is a true genius. Goodman as Linda Tripp was and still is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Lewinsky gave a pretty decent performance, albeit a bit overdone. As if I’m a goddamn critic.

I got to know Monica a few years ago and she is warm, dignified and - for what it's worth - really quite beautiful. Kudos to Monica for rebuilding her life, loving her true friends; I hope she will find someone worthy of her.
