Gearbox Publishing and Wabisabi Games announce RKGK, a new anime inspired action-packed graffiti platformer. Real bummer to see indies start doing the "CGI tone piece with no gameplay" thing for their trailers. I was already sold on the look and tone of the game from the thumbnail; I was hoping the trailer could give me more information about the actual game.

Is the name suppose to be Rakugaki or RKGK? Because the logo makes it quite confusing putting the legible option smaller and on top instead of front and center.
And for a showcase meant to go straight to gameplay, its a bummer to see a reveal with no gameplay. At least with STS2 its a sequel and they can't just show gameplay yet since they had to migrate their work from Unity to Godot to keep developement.
Specially baffled because on the steam page they do have screenshots and it does look awesome. A 3D bullethell platformer.

It never fails to amaze me that whenever we have a game set in some authoritarian dystopia, the "rebels" are always neon-haired, pierced, tattooed graffiti artists "fighting the man," when in reality those people fight FOR the man and beg governments all over the world to become more powerful, to control more of people's lives for safety and convenience. If you want a game about actual rebels that are against authoritarianism, you'd have to make the cast a bunch of clean cut young men and women wearing crosses and waving Gadsden flags.
