I know in my heart God is speaking to me through this video, Amanda. I just don't get exactly how to change or which way to go. I feel like God wants me to focus on my family who I have by choice. I'm that friend AND that sister who you spoke about. If they don't want to hear me when I'm advising them repeatedly, "You are going down the wrong path," then, I absolutely hate when they come back and now they can't handle the consequences and want me to be there for them after I was always ignored. I find it offensive. I'm not good enough to be listened to yet they want me there to make them feel better after all was preventable? My only sister (a bit younger than me, but not that young for her nonsense) and I have nothing in common. She is very good at not focusing/listening when I try to have conversations with her about ME and gives me lame feedback because she just doesn't care to listen but expects me to listen to her. Just like you said you felt, I have felt that A LOT this last few years, like why even talk to others at this point. God has used many people in my life (ALL or MOST at the same time) to make me feel like I can't count on any of them. They become more dismissive and I feel extremely alone. Then, when I finally pray, HOLY SPIRIT tells me, "YOU HAVE ME! I WILL HEAR YOU." I have felt our relationship grow because now I get HIM. With my sister, whatever advice I give her she dismisses as she jumps from guy to guy. She says they are just having fun and makes me so angry because she is not an innocent youngster. It's the same mistake over and over again. I REALLY value my time and feel like she misuses all the time I give her when I don't even feel like doing so but do so anyways to be obedient to Holy Spirit. Recently, it seems like she found the one and what does she do? Goes and lives with him but claims she's not living with him. We are neighbors and I KNOW she's lying. So now she's giving my boys a bad example AND is lying to me. She claims to be Christian all of a sudden when in a fight she told me to get it through my head that she wasn't. JUST as soon as the new guy wants to go back (after MANY years of not going to a Church building) that's when she claims she is Christian but doesn't change. I see her as a poser. When confronted she claims to be a grown woman but her mistakes are the same over and over again. I wish I knew what to do. I am ok not seeing her as often as I do. She is hopefully moving her stuff to his place this Dec. as he leaves to another place. I am so happy to know I will no longer have to see her as much. It's been 10+ of her wasting my time, running to me with her drame and her ignoring my emotions.
thank you for this Ruocca ! my upload for tomorrow covers something similar. i feel as if condemnation is a big reason why people tend to run away. we feel ashamed about our actions and fleeing is easier than facing the fact that we ought to continually work on ourselves. but it's in realizing that that we are able to grow !

This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything . That is why it is eternal !!!

I know and appreciate your effort and that you. And understanding that I am not allone in this, gave me hope to get back right with the Lord.
PS: Just a real quick video idea: I love your kind of sit back and talk videos. I would love for you to do a advise to approach non believers (those we know as well as just strangers) I know that the mission of us Christians is to spread the Gospel and part of that is to approach strangers. But I feel like I cannot just randomly go to a stranger and talk to them. I think that would be an interesting and usefull video

Few weeks ago I was in a bad place I let the enemy to convince me of my unworthiness and felt very bad and one thing that helped me was writing, I try to write my emotions in a notebook as if I am talking to God and that day I let my emotions out and write all the bad things I was thinking about me but at some point God stopped me and I started to notice all the best things that He says about me in front of what I wrote
So from that day everything changed and now I try to not run away from my thoughts but replace it with the ones that God tells me
And I am really thankful that you shared what's going on with you it really help to know that you are not the only one
