Been there, done that, same results. Great video though and it always seems the wind kicks up on that lake when you get to the other end. It’s definitely a Jamie lake.

Mercer is a Great Lake. It’s the lake of the giants. I have a 8.15lb bass this spring and countless 4,5, and 6lb bass. Most people don’t like fishing a lake that you have to fish offshore. I’m glad most won’t be back, less boat traffic for me😂😂

Mercer has lots of Musky but they are hard to catch. Most people target them with 7 inch+ baits. Farrington has Pike. Spruce Run has Pike. Cranberry has Pike. Passaic River has Pike.
Thanks again for your comments Adam. Lots of fishing pressure on the handful of lakes I've fished in central Jersey. Farrington is going to be a springtime destination for sure. Spruce Run, while far, is on the list as well.
You were frustrated with THAT traffic? You would absolutely lose your mind out here. You had 3AM traffic. I80 at 4PM is a five lane Jamieing parking lot. I suppose it's all relative.
That would make me mental. The primary reason I fish all hours of the night and morning is to not be subjected to traffic. There is something about being inside a vehicle that seems to allow if not encourage ppl to lose any sence of decency and societal participation, no? It becomes all about MY commute and YOU can go Jamie yourself!🤣 Sad really as they might be quality individuals, but glass, metal, tires and a steering wheel...all compassionate, good human behavior....GONE!!!
